< John 2 >

1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and Jesus' mother was there.
Mu lumbu kintatu, nyengo wu makuela wuba ku Kana mu tsi Ngalili. Ngudi Yesu yiba kuna.
2 Jesus was also invited to the wedding, and so were his disciples.
Yesu ayi minlonguki miandi mamvawu batumusu ku nyengo beni wu makuela.
3 When the wine ran out, Jesus' mother said to him, “They have no wine.”
Vayi zimbukila vinu kimeni. Buna ngudi Yesu yiyiza kunkamba: —Basiedi diaka ayi vinu ko.
4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what concern is that to yoʋ or to me? My hour has not yet come.”
Yesu wumvutudila: —A nketo, mambu mbi tuidi beto yaku e? Thanguꞌama yifueni ko.
5 But his mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Buna ngudi andi wukamba bisadi ti: —Luvanga mambu moso ka kuiza lukambi.
6 Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty to thirty gallons.
Mimvungu minsambanu miba vana mu diambu di lundilanga nlangu, mitulu vana boso bubela kifu ki Bayuda mu kukivedisanga. Mvungu wumosi wulenda kota nduka-nduka khatitsika yi dingungulu di nlangu.
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.
Buna Yesu wukamba bisadi: —Wesanu nlangu mu mimvungu. Buna bawesa mimvungu beni nate vana ntu.
8 Then he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it,
Yesu wubuela kuba kamba diaka: —Buabu bonganu fioti ayi lunata fiawu kuidi nkulutu wu nyengo. Bawu bannatina kiawu.
9 and the master of the feast tasted the water, which had been turned into wine. He did not know where it had come from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then the master of the feast called the bridegroom aside
Nkulutu wu nyengo bu babimba nlangu wukituka vinu, kasia zaba ko kuevi kuba vinu beni Vayi bisadi biteka nlangu bizaba. Buna nkulutu wu nyengo wutumisa mu nsualu dibakala diodi dikuela
10 and said to him, “Everyone else serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have drunk freely; but yoʋ have kept the good wine until now.”
ayi wunkamba: —Woso kuandi mutu weta tuama kabudila batu vinu kimboti; bosi ku nzimunina wunkabulanga vinu kidekuka, batu bu bameni nua bufuana. Vayi ngeyo kimboti kiawu lundidingi nate thangu yayi.
11 Jesus did this in Cana of Galilee as the first of his signs. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
Kiaki kiawu kumu kitheti mu bikumu bivanga Yesu; kiawu kivangimina ku Kana mu tsi yi Ngalili. Kuna kamonisa nkemboꞌandi ayi minlonguki miandi minwilukila.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples, and they stayed there for a few days.
Momo bu mavioka, Yesu wuyenda ku Kafalinawumi va kimosi ayi ngudi andi, ayi bakhomba bandi ayi minlonguki miandi. Ndambu bilumbu kaka bavuandila kuna.
13 Now the Passover of the Jews was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Pasika buna yeka nduka, Yesu wuyenda ku Yelusalemi.
14 In the temple courts he found those who were selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and he also found the money changers sitting at their tables.
Wumona muna luphangu lu nzo Nzambi minsumbisi mi zingombi, mi mamemi ayi mi mabembi ayi minsienzi mi zimbongo buna mimvuendi.
15 So he made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple courts, along with their sheep and oxen. He also poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
Buna wubonga minsinga, wuvanga kikoti. Buna wukuka batu boso ku luphangu lu Nzo Nzambi ayi mamemi ayi zingombi, wuloza zimbongo zi minsienzi va tsi ayi wusengubula zimeza.
16 Then he said to those who were selling doves, “Take these things away from here; stop making my Father's house a marketplace.”
Bosi, wubaluka kuidi minsumbisi mi mabembi, wuba kamba: —Botulanu bima biobi vava! Lubika kitula nzo yi dise diama dizandu!
17 And his disciples remembered that it is written, “Zeal for yoʋr house will consume me.”
Minlonguki miandi mitebuka moyo ti busonama: A Nzambi, luzolo luidi yama mu diambu di nzoꞌaku luawu luela kuphondisa.
18 In response the Jews said to him, “What sign can yoʋ show us to prove yoʋr authority to do these things?”
Bayuda bamvutudila: —A kumu mbi wulenda vanga mu kutumonisa ti bukiedika lulendo luidiyaku luvangila mambu moso momo e?
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
Yesu wuba kamba: —Tiolumunanu Nzo Nzambi yayi, ndiela kuyitungila mu bilumbu bitatu.
20 The Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will yoʋ raise it up in three days?”
Buna Bayuda batuba: —Mu makumaya ayi mimvu minsambanu nzo Nzambi yayi yitungulu vayi ngeyo mu bilumbu bitatu kuandi fueti buela kuyitungila?
21 But he was speaking about the temple of his body.
Vayi niandi wuyolukila nzo Nzambi yi nitu andi.
22 So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
Yesu bu kafuluka mu bafua, minlonguki miandi mitebuka moyo ti wutuba buawu. Buna miwilukila masonuku ayi mambu momo matuba Yesu.
23 While Jesus was in Jerusalem during the feast of the Passover, many believed in his name because they saw the signs he was doing.
Mu thangu Yesu kaba ku Yelusalemi mu nyengo wu Pasika, batu bawombo bamona bikumu biobi kavanga ayi bawilukila mu dizina diandi.
24 But Jesus did not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men.
Vayi yesu kasi kubasila diana ko bila wuzaba batu boso.
25 He did not need anyone to testify about man, for he himself knew what was in man.
Bila kasia ba mfunu ko muingi mutu wunkaka katelama kimbangi mu diambu di mutu wunkaka bila niandi veka wuzaba mambu madi mu mutu.
