John 17
1 After saying these things, Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify yoʋr Son so that yoʋr Son may also glorify yoʋ,
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੇਤਾਃ ਕਥਾਃ ਕਥਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯੈਤਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਤ੍, ਹੇ ਪਿਤਃ ਸਮਯ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍; ਯਥਾ ਤਵ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਵ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਯਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਨਿਜਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਯ|
2 just as yoʋ have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to everyone yoʋ have given him. (aiōnios g166)
ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯੋੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸ ਯਥਾ ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ(ਅ)ਨਨ੍ਤਾਯੁ ਰ੍ਦਦਾਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਮਾਤ੍ਰਾਣਾਮ੍ ਅਧਿਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਭਾਰੰ ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍| (aiōnios g166)
3 This is eternal life, that they may know yoʋ, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom yoʋ have sent. (aiōnios g166)
ਯਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਮ੍ ਅਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਃ ਸਤ੍ਯ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟ ਏਤਯੋਰੁਭਯੋਃ ਪਰਿਚਯੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤੇ(ਅ)ਨਨ੍ਤਾਯੁ ਰ੍ਭਵਤਿ| (aiōnios g166)
4 I have glorified yoʋ on earth. I have completed the work yoʋ have given me to do.
ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯਸ੍ਯ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਣੋ ਭਾਰੰ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍, ਤਤ੍ ਸਮ੍ਪੰਨੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਜਗਤ੍ਯਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਤਵ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਕਾਸ਼ਯੰ|
5 And now, Father, glorify me in yoʋr presence with the glory I had with yoʋ before the world existed.
ਅਤਏਵ ਹੇ ਪਿਤ ਰ੍ਜਗਤ੍ਯਵਿਦ੍ਯਮਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਸਹ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤੋ ਮਮ ਯੋ ਮਹਿਮਾਸੀਤ੍ ਸਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਤਵ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਮਾਂ ਤੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਯ|
6 “I have revealed yoʋr name to the people yoʋ have given me out of the world. They were yoʋrs; yoʋ gave them to me, and they have kept yoʋr word.
ਅਨ੍ਯੱਚ ਤ੍ਵਮ੍ ਏਤੱਜਗਤੋ ਯਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾ ਅਹੰ ਤੇਭ੍ਯਸ੍ਤਵ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਸ੍ਤੱਤ੍ਵਜ੍ਞਾਨਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਂ, ਤੇ ਤਵੈਵਾਸਨ੍, ਤ੍ਵੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯਮਦਦਾਃ, ਤਸ੍ਮਾੱਤੇ ਤਵੋਪਦੇਸ਼ਮ੍ ਅਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍|
7 They now know that everything yoʋ have given me is from yoʋ.
ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਯਤ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਅਦਦਾਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਤ੍ਵੱਤੋ ਜਾਯਤੇ ਇਤ੍ਯਧੁਨਾਜਾਨਨ੍|
8 For I have given them the words that yoʋ gave me, and they have received them and truly know that I came from yoʋ. They have also come to believe that yoʋ sent me.
ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਯਮੁਪਦੇਸ਼ਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾ ਅਹਮਪਿ ਤੇਭ੍ਯਸ੍ਤਮੁਪਦੇਸ਼ਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਂ ਤੇਪਿ ਤਮਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍ ਤ੍ਵੱਤੋਹੰ ਨਿਰ੍ਗਤ੍ਯ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤੋਭਵਮ੍ ਅਤ੍ਰ ਚ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍|
9 I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those yoʋ have given me, for they are yoʋrs.
ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੇਵ ਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇ(ਅ)ਹੰ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੇਵ ਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇ(ਅ)ਹੰ ਯਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਵੈਵਾਸਤੇ|
10 All who are mine are also yoʋrs, and all who are yoʋrs are also mine, and I have been glorified in them.
ਯੇ ਮਮ ਤੇ ਤਵ ਯੇ ਚ ਤਵ ਤੇ ਮਮ ਤਥਾ ਤੈ ਰ੍ਮਮ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼੍ਯਤੇ|
11 I will no longer remain in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to yoʋ. Holy Father, keep them in yoʋr name, which yoʋ have given me, so that they may be one, just as we are one.
ਸਾਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਜਗਤਿ ਮਮਾਵਸ੍ਥਿਤੇਃ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ਮ੍ ਅਭਵਤ੍ ਅਹੰ ਤਵ ਸਮੀਪੰ ਗੱਛਾਮਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤੇ ਜਗਤਿ ਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ; ਹੇ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਤਰਾਵਯੋ ਰ੍ਯਥੈਕਤ੍ਵਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪ੍ਯੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਭਵਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਯਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼|
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them safe by the power of yoʋr name. I have guarded those yoʋ have given me, and not one of them has perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਜਗਤ੍ਯਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਤੈਃ ਸਹਾਹਮਾਸੰ ਤਾਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਤਾਨ੍ ਤਵ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾਹੰ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਾਨ੍; ਯਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਅਹਮਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ, ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਕੇਵਲੰ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਪਾਤ੍ਰੰ ਹਾਰਿਤੰ ਤੇਨ ਧਰ੍ੰਮਪੁਸ੍ਤਕਸ੍ਯ ਵਚਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਭਵਤਿ|
13 But now I am coming to yoʋ, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made full within them.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਧੁਨਾ ਤਵ ਸੰਨਿਧਿੰ ਗੱਛਾਮਿ ਮਯਾ ਯਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣਾਨਨ੍ਦੋ ਭਵਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥਮਹੰ ਜਗਤਿ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ ਏਤਾਃ ਕਥਾ ਅਕਥਯਮ੍|
14 I have given them yoʋr word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
ਤਵੋਪਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ(ਅ)ਦਦਾਂ ਜਗਤਾ ਸਹ ਯਥਾ ਮਮ ਸਮ੍ਬਨ੍ਧੋ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਤਥਾ ਜਜਤਾ ਸਹ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪਿ ਸਮ੍ਬਨ੍ਧਾਭਾਵਾਜ੍ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਨ੍ਤੇ|
15 I do not ask yoʋ to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.
ਤ੍ਵੰ ਜਗਤਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਾਣੇਤਿ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਸ਼ੁਭਾਦ੍ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੇਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇਹਮ੍|
16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
ਅਹੰ ਯਥਾ ਜਗਤ੍ਸਮ੍ਬਨ੍ਧੀਯੋ ਨ ਭਵਾਮਿ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਪਿ ਜਗਤ੍ਸਮ੍ਬਨ੍ਧੀਯਾ ਨ ਭਵਨ੍ਤਿ|
17 Sanctify them by yoʋr truth; yoʋr word is truth.
ਤਵ ਸਤ੍ਯਕਥਯਾ ਤਾਨ੍ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੀਕੁਰੁ ਤਵ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮੇਵ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ|
18 Just as yoʋ have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯਥਾ ਮਾਂ ਜਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੈਰਯਸ੍ਤਥਾਹਮਪਿ ਤਾਨ੍ ਜਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੈਰਯੰ|
19 For their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਹਿਤਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਯਥਾਹੰ ਸ੍ਵੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੀਕਰੋਮਿ ਤਥਾ ਸਤ੍ਯਕਥਯਾ ਤੇਪਿ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੀਭਵਨ੍ਤੁ|
20 “I do not ask on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word,
ਕੇਵਲੰ ਏਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਰ੍ਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯੇ(ਅ)ਹਮ੍ ਇਤਿ ਨ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੇਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੁਪਦੇਸ਼ੇਨ ਯੇ ਜਨਾ ਮਯਿ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪ੍ਯਰ੍ਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥੇਯੇ(ਅ)ਹਮ੍|
21 that they may all be one, just as yoʋ, Father, are in me, and I am in yoʋ, that they also may be one in us, so that the world may believe that yoʋ sent me.
ਹੇ ਪਿਤਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਏਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਭਵਤੁ ਤਵ ਯਥਾ ਮਯਿ ਮਮ ਚ ਯਥਾ ਤ੍ਵੱਯੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪ੍ਯਾਵਯੋਰੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਭਵਤੁ ਤੇਨ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਇਤਿ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯਨ੍ਤੁ|
22 I have given them the glory that yoʋ gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one,
ਯਥਾਵਯੋਰੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪ੍ਯੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਭਵਤੁ ਤੇਸ਼਼੍ਵਹੰ ਮਯਿ ਚ ਤ੍ਵਮ੍ ਇੱਥੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣਮੇਕਤ੍ਵੰ ਭਵਤੁ, ਤ੍ਵੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਯਿ ਯਥਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਯਸੇ ਚ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼੍ਵਪਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਵਾਨ੍ ਏਤਦ੍ਯਥਾ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਜਾਨਨ੍ਤਿ
23 I in them and yoʋ in me, so that they may be perfected into one, and so that the world may know that yoʋ have sent me and have loved them just as yoʋ have loved me.
ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਮ੍ ਅਹਮਪਿ ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍|
24 Father, I want those yoʋ have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, which yoʋ gave me because yoʋ loved me before the foundation of the world.
ਹੇ ਪਿਤ ਰ੍ਜਗਤੋ ਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਮਯਿ ਸ੍ਨੇਹੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਮਮ ਤੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਯਥਾ ਤੇ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਯਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਅਹੰ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਮਿ ਤੇਪਿ ਯਥਾ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤਿ ਮਮੈਸ਼਼ਾ ਵਾਞ੍ਛਾ|
25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know yoʋ, I know yoʋ, and these men know that yoʋ have sent me.
ਹੇ ਯਥਾਰ੍ਥਿਕ ਪਿਤ ਰ੍ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕੈਸ੍ਤ੍ਵੱਯਜ੍ਞਾਤੇਪਿ ਤ੍ਵਾਮਹੰ ਜਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਇਤੀਮੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਜਾਨਨ੍ਤਿ|
26 I have made yoʋr name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which yoʋ have loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them.”
ਯਥਾਹੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਮਿ ਤਥਾ ਮਯਿ ਯੇਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਾਕਰੋਸ੍ਤਤ੍ ਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤਵ ਨਾਮਾਹੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਪੁਨਰਪਿ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
