John 17
1 After saying these things, Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify yoʋr Son so that yoʋr Son may also glorify yoʋ,

2 just as yoʋ have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to everyone yoʋ have given him. (aiōnios g166)
Pakuŵa mwapele Mwana gwenu ulamusi pa ŵandu wose kuti ŵandu wose umwapele ŵape umi wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi. (aiōnios g166)
3 This is eternal life, that they may know yoʋ, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom yoʋ have sent. (aiōnios g166)
Ni umi wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi wo ni au, ŵandu ammanyilile mmwe ŵandi Akunnungu ŵamope ŵa usyene, ni kwamanya Che Yesu Kilisito umwatumile. (aiōnios g166)
4 I have glorified yoʋ on earth. I have completed the work yoʋ have given me to do.
Uneji jwammale kunkusya pachilambo kwa kumalisya masengo gamwambele kuti nagapanganye.
5 And now, Father, glorify me in yoʋr presence with the glory I had with yoʋ before the world existed.
Atati ŵangu, sambano mumbe ukulu paujo penu, ukulu ulaula unakwete pamo nomwe, chikanaŵe gumbikwa chilambo.
6 “I have revealed yoʋr name to the people yoʋ have given me out of the world. They were yoʋrs; yoʋ gave them to me, and they have kept yoʋr word.
“Nantesile mmanyiche ni ŵandu umwambele pachilambo ŵala. Ŵanyawo ŵaliji ŵenu ni mwambele uneji kuti aŵe ŵangu, nombewo alijitichisye liloŵe lyenu.
7 They now know that everything yoʋ have given me is from yoʋ.
Sambano ŵanyawo akuimanyilila kuti yose imwambele uneji ityosile kukwenu.
8 For I have given them the words that yoʋ gave me, and they have received them and truly know that I came from yoʋ. They have also come to believe that yoʋ sent me.
Pakuŵa maloŵe gamwambele uneji napele ŵanyawo, ni ŵanyawo akugakulupilila maloŵe go. Akumanyilila kwa isyene kuti natyochele kukwenu, ni sooni ajitichisye kuti mmwe ni jumwandumile une.
9 I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those yoʋ have given me, for they are yoʋrs.
“Ngwapopelela ŵanyawo. Ngangwapopelela ŵandu wose ŵa pachilambo, nambo ŵele umwambele wo pakuŵa ali ŵenu.
10 All who are mine are also yoʋrs, and all who are yoʋrs are also mine, and I have been glorified in them.
Wose ungwete ali ŵenu, ni ŵenu ali ŵangu, ni ukulu wangu uwoneche kwa litala lya ŵele umwambele wo.
11 I will no longer remain in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to yoʋ. Holy Father, keep them in yoʋr name, which yoʋ have given me, so that they may be one, just as we are one.
Ni sambano ngwika kukwenu, uneji nguuŵa sooni pachilambo, nambo aŵaŵa alinji pachilambo. Atati ŵangu Ŵaswela mwagose kwa machili ga liina lyenu limumbele, kuti aŵe ŵamo mpela une ni mmwe ituli ŵamo.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them safe by the power of yoʋr name. I have guarded those yoʋ have given me, and not one of them has perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
Panaliji pamo nawo, une naagosile kwa machili ga liina lyenu limumbele, naagosile ni ngapagwa mundu jwalijose jwasochele ikaŵe ajula juŵasagulikwe kujonasika, kuti Malembelo ga Akunnungu gamalile.
13 But now I am coming to yoʋ, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made full within them.
Nambo sambano ngwika kukwenu, nguŵecheta gelega pachilambo kuti ŵanyawo agumbale kusengwa kwangu mmitima jao.
14 I have given them yoʋr word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Une napele liloŵe lyenu, ni ŵandu ŵa pachilambo ŵaachimile ŵanyawo pakuŵa ŵanyawo nganaŵa ŵa pachilambo, mpela ila uneji nganima jwa pachilambo.
15 I do not ask yoʋ to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.
Nganguŵenda kuti mmwe mwatyosye mchilambo, nambo ngupopela mwagose ni Shetani jwaali jwangalumbana.
16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Ŵanyawo nganaŵa ŵa pachilambo pano, uneji nombe nganiŵa jwa pachilambo.
17 Sanctify them by yoʋr truth; yoʋr word is truth.
Mwatende aŵe ŵandu ŵenu ŵaswela kwa litala lya usyene, liloŵe lyenu lili usyene.
18 Just as yoʋ have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
Mpela ila imwatite pakunduma une mchilambo, ni une nombe natumile ŵelewo mchilambo.
19 For their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
Une ngulityosya nansyene kwaligongo lyao, kuti nombewo alityosye kusyene kukwenu.
20 “I do not ask on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word,
“Ngangwapopelela ŵanyawo pe, nambo ngwapopelela nombe ŵandu wose ŵachangulupilile kwaligongo lya majiganyo gao.
21 that they may all be one, just as yoʋ, Father, are in me, and I am in yoʋ, that they also may be one in us, so that the world may believe that yoʋ sent me.
Ngupopela kuti wose aŵe chindu chimo. Atati, ngupopela kuti atame nkati mwetu mpela ila mmwe inkuti kutama nkati mwangu, noneji inguti kutama nkati mwenu. Ngupopela aŵe chindu chimo kuti ŵandu ŵa pachilambo akulupilile kuti mmwe ni jumundumile une.
22 I have given them the glory that yoʋ gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one,
Noneji naapele ukulu ulaula umwambele uneji, kuti aŵeje ŵamo mpela ila uweji ituli ŵamo.
23 I in them and yoʋ in me, so that they may be perfected into one, and so that the world may know that yoʋ have sent me and have loved them just as yoʋ have loved me.
Uneji ndame mwa ŵanyawo nombe mmwe mwa uneji. Atendekwe kuŵa ŵamo, ni ŵandu wose ŵa pachilambo amanyilile kuti mmwe ni jumwandumile ni kuti nkwanonyela ŵelewo mpela inkuti pakunonyela uneji.
24 Father, I want those yoʋ have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, which yoʋ gave me because yoʋ loved me before the foundation of the world.
“Atati, wose umumbele ngusaka aŵeje pamo ni uneji pepala pandili une kuti aulole ukulu wangu, ukulu umumbele ligongo mwanonyele uneji chilambo chikanigumbikwe.
25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know yoʋ, I know yoʋ, and these men know that yoʋ have sent me.
Atati ŵambone, namuno ŵandu ŵa pachilambo ngakummanya nambo uneji nammanyi. Ŵelewo nombe akumanyilila kuti mmwe mwandumile une.
26 I have made yoʋr name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which yoʋ have loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them.”
Nantesile mmanyiche kukwao, nombe chimbundisye kutenda yeleyo kuti unonyelo undi nawo kukwangu uŵe mwa ŵanyawo, ni uneji meje mwa ŵanyawo.”
