John 10

1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a robber.

۱ «آمین آمین به شما می‌گویم هر‌که از دربه آغل گوسفند داخل نشود، بلکه از راه دیگر بالا رود، او دزد و راهزن است.

2 But he who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.

۲ و اما آنکه از در داخل شود، شبان گوسفندان است.

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

۳ دربان بجهت او می‌گشاید و گوسفندان آواز او رامی شنوند و گوسفندان خود را نام بنام می‌خواند وایشان را بیرون می‌برد.

4 When he has brought out his own sheep, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.

۴ و وقتی که گوسفندان خود را بیرون برد، پیش روی ایشان می‌خرامد وگوسفندان از عقب او می‌روند، زیرا که آواز او رامی شناسند.

5 They will certainly not follow a stranger, but will flee from him because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.”

۵ لیکن غریب را متابعت نمی کنند، بلکه از او می‌گریزند زیرا که آواز غریبان رانمی شناسند.»

6 Jesus spoke to them with this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.

۶ و این مثل را عیسی برای ایشان آورد، اماایشان نفهمیدند که چه چیز بدیشان می‌گوید.

7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep.

۷ آنگاه عیسی بدیشان باز‌گفت: «آمین آمین به شما می‌گویم که من در گوسفندان هستم.

8 All who came previously are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.

۸ جمیع کسانی که پیش از من آمدند، دزد و راهزن هستند، لیکن گوسفندان سخن ایشان را نشنیدند.

9 I am the gate; if anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.

۹ من درهستم هر‌که از من داخل گردد نجات یابد و بیرون و درون خرامد و علوفه یابد.

10 The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

۱۰ دزد نمی آید مگرآنکه بدزدد و بکشد و هلاک کند. من آمدم تاایشان حیات یابند و آن را زیادتر حاصل کنند.

11 I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

۱۱ «من شبان نیکو هستم. شبان نیکو جان خودرا در راه گوسفندان می‌نهد.

12 But the hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.

۱۲ اما مزدوری که شبان نیست و گوسفندان از آن او نمی باشند، چون بیند که گرگ می‌آید، گوسفندان را گذاشته، فرار می‌کند و گرگ گوسفندان را می‌گیرد وپراکنده می‌سازد.

13 The hired hand flees, for he is a hired hand and does not care about the sheep.

۱۳ مزدور می‌گریزد چونکه مزدور است و به فکر گوسفندان نیست.

14 I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me,

۱۴ من شبان نیکو هستم و خاصان خود را می‌شناسم وخاصان من مرا می‌شناسند.

15 even as the Father knows me and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.

۱۵ چنانکه پدر مرامی شناسد و من پدر را می‌شناسم و جان خود رادر راه گوسفندان می‌نهم.

16 I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will hear my voice. And there will be one flock with one shepherd.

۱۶ و مرا گوسفندان دیگر هست که از این آغل نیستند. باید آنها را نیزبیاورم و آواز مرا خواهند شنید و یک گله و یک شبان خواهند شد.

17 This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it up again.

۱۷ و از این سبب پدر مرادوست می‌دارد که من جان خود را می‌نهم تا آن راباز گیرم.

18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. I received this commandment from my Father.”

۱۸ کسی آن را از من نمی گیرد، بلکه من خود آن را می‌نهم. قدرت دارم که آن را بنهم وقدرت دارم آن را باز گیرم. این حکم را از پدرخود یافتم.»

19 At these words there was again a division among the Jews.

۱۹ باز به‌سبب این کلام، در میان یهودیان اختلاف افتاد.

20 Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is out of his mind; why do you listen to him?”

۲۰ بسیاری از ایشان گفتند که «دیودارد و دیوانه است. برای چه بدو گوش می‌دهید؟»

21 Others were saying, “These are not the words of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

۲۱ دیگران گفتند که «این سخنان دیوانه نیست. آیا دیو می‌تواند چشم کوران را بازکند؟»

22 Now it was the Feast of the Dedication in Jerusalem. It was winter,

۲۲ پس در اورشلیم، عید تجدید شد و زمستان بود.

23 and Jesus was walking in the temple courts, in Solomon's Portico.

۲۳ و عیسی در هیکل، در رواق سلیمان می‌خرامید.

24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long are yoʋ going to keep us in suspense? If yoʋ are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

۲۴ پس یهودیان دور او را گرفته، بدوگفتند: «تا کی ما را متردد داری؟ اگر تو مسیح هستی، آشکارا به ما بگو.

25 Jesus answered them, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name testify about me,

۲۵ عیسی بدیشان جواب داد: «من به شما گفتم و ایمان نیاوردید. اعمالی را که به اسم پدر خود به‌جا می‌آورم، آنهابرای من شهادت می‌دهد.

26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep, just as I told you.

۲۶ لیکن شما ایمان نمی آورید زیرا از گوسفندان من نیستید، چنانکه به شما گفتم.

27 My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

۲۷ گوسفندان من آواز مرا می‌شنوندو من آنها را می‌شناسم و مرا متابعت می‌کنند.

28 I give them eternal life, and they will certainly never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

۲۸ ومن به آنها حیات جاودانی می‌دهم و تا به ابد هلاک نخواهند شد و هیچ‌کس آنها را از دست من نخواهد گرفت. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand.

۲۹ پدری که به من داد از همه بزرگتر است و کسی نمی تواند از دست پدر من بگیرد.

30 The Father and I are one.”

۳۰ من و پدر یک هستیم.»

31 Then the Jews picked up stones again to stone him.

۳۱ آنگاه یهودیان باز سنگها برداشتند تا او راسنگسار کنند.

32 In response Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father; for which of these works are you going to stone me?”

۳۲ عیسی بدیشان جواب داد: «ازجانب پدر خود بسیار کارهای نیک به شما نمودم. به‌سبب کدام‌یک از آنها مرا سنگسار می‌کنید؟»

33 The Jews answered him, “We are not going to stone yoʋ for any good work, but for blasphemy, because yoʋ, who are just a man, make yoʋrself out to be God.”

۳۳ یهودیان در جواب گفتند: «به‌سبب عمل نیک، تو را سنگسار نمی کنیم، بلکه به‌سبب کفر، زیرا توانسان هستی و خود را خدا می‌خوانی.»

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’?

۳۴ عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «آیا در تورات شما نوشته نشده است که من گفتم شما خدایان هستید؟

35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

۳۵ پس اگر آنانی را که کلام خدا بدیشان نازل شد، خدایان خواند و ممکن نیست که کتاب محو گردد،

36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘Yoʋ are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

۳۶ آیا کسی را که پدر تقدیس کرده، به جهان فرستاد، بدو می‌گویید کفر می‌گویی، از آن سبب که گفتم پسر خدا هستم؟

37 If I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe me.

۳۷ اگر اعمال پدرخود را به‌جا نمی آورم، به من ایمان میاورید.

38 But if I do them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him.”

۳۸ ولکن چنانچه به‌جا می‌آورم، هرگاه به من ایمان نمی آورید، به اعمال ایمان آورید تا بدانید و یقین کنید که پدر در من است و من در او.»

39 Once again they tried to arrest him, but he eluded their grasp.

۳۹ پس دیگرباره خواستند او را بگیرند، اما از دستهای ایشان بیرون رفت.

40 Then Jesus went away again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and he stayed there.

۴۰ و باز به آن طرف اردن، جایی که اول یحیی تعمید می‌داد، رفت و در آنجا توقف نمود.

41 Many came to him and were saying, “John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.”

۴۱ وبسیاری نزد او آمده، گفتند که یحیی هیچ معجزه ننمود و لکن هر‌چه یحیی درباره این شخص گفت راست است.

42 And many of the people there believed in Jesus.

۴۲ پس بسیاری در آنجا به او ایمان آوردند.
