< John 10 >
1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a robber.
Nichali, chimali enibhabwila ati, uliya atakwingila nokutula mu mulyango gwa ligutu lya jinama, nawe nalinyila kwa injila eindi, omunu oyo nimwifi no musakusi.
2 But he who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
Oyo kengila mu mulyango ni mulefi wa jinama.
3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Oyo omwigasi wo mulyango kamwigulila. Jinama ejungwa obhulaka bwae najibhilikila jinama jae kwa masina gabho najiulusha anja.
4 When he has brought out his own sheep, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.
Woli amala okujiulusha anja ejae jona, najitangatila, na jinama nijimulubha kwo kubha, abhamenya obhulaka bwae.
5 They will certainly not follow a stranger, but will flee from him because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.”
Jitakumulubha omugenyi nawe nibheya nijimwiluka, okubha jitakumenya elaka lya bhagenye.”
6 Jesus spoke to them with this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.
Yesu nabhabwila echijekekanyo chinu kubhene, nawe bhatamenyele emisango jinu ejoaliga naika kubhene.
7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep.
Yesu nabhabwila lindi ati,”nichimali, chimali nabhabwila ati, Anye nili mulyango gwa jinama.
8 All who came previously are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
Bhona bhanu bhatangatiye ni bhefi na bhasakusi, nawe jinama jitabhonguwe.
9 I am the gate; if anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.
Anye ni mulyango. Wona wona akengila okulabha kwanye, alikila alingila munda nauluka, nomwene alibhona obhulebhelo.
10 The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
Omwifi atakuja tali kaletwa okwibha, no kwita, no kusimagisha. Nijili koleleki bhabhone obhuanga na bhabhe nabho bhufule.
11 I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Anye ni mulefi wa kisi. Omulefi wakisi kategayo obhuanga kulwa jinama.
12 But the hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.
Omukosi unu kalebhela omuyelo, atali omulefi, unu jinama jitali jae, kalola omusige nibhaja nabhasiga neluka jinama.
13 The hired hand flees, for he is a hired hand and does not care about the sheep.
No musege abhajigwata no kubhanyalambula. Neluka okubha ni mukosi wa muyelo natakujimenya jinama.
14 I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
Anye ni mulefi we kisi, nimenyele abhani na bhani enibhamenya anye.
15 even as the Father knows me and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
Lata amenyele one nimumenyele Lata one enitegayo obhuanga bwani kulwa jinama.
16 I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will hear my voice. And there will be one flock with one shepherd.
Ninajo jinama ejindi jitali ja mwigutu linu. Nabho bheile okubhaleta one jilungwa lilaka lyani jilibha eijo limwi no mulefi umwi.
17 This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it up again.
Nikwo kubha Lata anyendele: Nisoshe obhuanga bwani nibhugege lindi.
18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. I received this commandment from my Father.”
Atalio kabhugega okusoka kwanye, nawe anye enibhusosha omwene, Ndino bhuinga bwo kusosha, na ndino bhuinga bwo kubhugega ona. Niyabwilwe echilagilo chinu okusoka ku Lata.”
19 At these words there was again a division among the Jews.
Okwaukana lindi nikusokelela agati ya bhayaudi kwo kubha ye misango ejo.
20 Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is out of his mind; why do you listen to him?”
Abhafu mwabho nibhaika ati,”Ali no musambwa na asalile. kulwaki omumutegelesha?”
21 Others were saying, “These are not the words of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”
Abhandi nibhaika ati,”Emisango jinu jitali ja munu unu ali no musambwa. Omusambwa ogutula okwigula ameso go muofu?”
22 Now it was the Feast of the Dedication in Jerusalem. It was winter,
Niwo nigaja amalya gokuchuma Yerusalemu.
23 and Jesus was walking in the temple courts, in Solomon's Portico.
gwaliga guli omwanya gwa mbeo, na Yesu aliga nalibhata mu yekalu muchisunya cha Sulemani.
24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long are yoʋ going to keep us in suspense? If yoʋ are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
Niwo Abhayaudi nibhamusingila nibhamubwila ati, “Ulikigyalii ulichitula mukwitimata? alabha awe ni Kristo, chibwile bwelu.
25 Jesus answered them, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name testify about me,
Yesu nabhasubya ati, “Nabhabwiliye nawe mutakwikilisha. Emilimu ejo enikola mwisina lya Lata wani, ejo enibhambalila ingulu yani.
26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep, just as I told you.
Nolwo kutyo mutakwikilisha okubha emwe mutali bha jinama jani
27 My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
Jinama jani abhongwa lilaka lyani; Nibhamenyele, ejene nijindubha anye.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will certainly never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Nabhayanile obhuanga bwa kajanende; bhatalisingalika kata na atalio nolwo umwi unu alijinyugumbula okusoka mu kubhoko kwani. (aiōn , aiōnios )
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand.
Lata wani, abhoanae bhanu, ni mukulu kukila abhandi bhona, na atalio nolwo umwi unu katula okujinyungumbula okusoka mu kubhoko kwa Lata.
30 The Father and I are one.”
Anye na Lata chili amwi.”
31 Then the Jews picked up stones again to stone him.
Nibhagega amabhui okumulasa lindi.
32 In response Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father; for which of these works are you going to stone me?”
Yesu nabhasubha ati, “Nabhelesha emilimu myafu emilesi okusoka ku Lata. Kwe milimu mwijo omwenda okundasa amabhui?”
33 The Jews answered him, “We are not going to stone yoʋ for any good work, but for blasphemy, because yoʋ, who are just a man, make yoʋrself out to be God.”
Abhayaudi nibhamusubya ati,”Chikulasa amabhui kwo mulimu gwona gwona guli gwa kisi, nawe kulwo kufuma, kwo kubha awe, uli munu, kowikola kubha Nyamuanga.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’?
Yesu nabhasubya ati, “jitandikilwe mubhilagilo byemwe, 'Naikile, “Amwe muli bhanyamuanga'”?'
35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
ALabha abhatogele bhanyamuanga, kubhaliya abho Omusango gwa Nyamuanga libhbejiye (na mandiko gatakutula kuwao),
36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘Yoʋ are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
Nibhaika ingulu ya uliya unu Lata amusosishe na mutuma musi, 'Kafuma, 'kwo kubha naikile, 'anye ni Mwana wa Nyamuanga'?
37 If I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe me.
Nikabha nitakukola emilimu ja Lata wani, musige kunyikilisha.
38 But if I do them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him.”
Nolwo kutyo, alabha nikajikola, nolwo mutakunyikilisha, mujikilishe emilimu koleleki mumenye ati Lata ali mwanye nanye ndi Mulata.”
39 Once again they tried to arrest him, but he eluded their grasp.
Nibhayenja lindi okumugwata Yesu, nawe nagenda jaye nasoka mumabhoko gebwe.
40 Then Jesus went away again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and he stayed there.
Yesu nagenda jae lindi ngego ya Yordani anu Yohana aliga nabhatija okwamba niyanja eyo.
41 Many came to him and were saying, “John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.”
Abhanu bhafu nibhaja ku Yesu. Nibhagendelela nibhaika ati, “Yohana chimali atakolele echibhalikisho chona chona, nawe emisango jona ejoaikile Yohana ingulu ya unu omunu nijechimali.”
42 And many of the people there believed in Jesus.
Abhanu bhafu nibhamwikilisha Yesu awo.
