Hebrews 12
1 Therefore, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that lies before us,
௧ஆகவே, மேகத்தைப்போல இத்தனை அதிகமான சாட்சிகள் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்க, பாரமான எல்லாவற்றையும், நம்மைச் சுற்றி நெருங்கி நிற்கிற பாவத்தையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, விசுவாசத்தைத் துவக்குகிறவரும் முடிக்கிறவருமாக இருக்கிற இயேசுவைப் பார்த்து, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்தில் பொறுமையோடு ஓடுவோம்;
2 fixing our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
௨அவர் தமக்குமுன்பாக வைத்திருந்த சந்தோஷத்தின்பொருட்டு, அவமானத்தை நினைக்காமல், சிலுவையைச் சகித்து, தேவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் வலதுபக்கத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.
3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners against himself, so that you will not grow weary or lose heart.
௩ஆகவே, நீங்கள் மனம் தளர்ந்தவர்களாக உங்களுடைய ஆத்துமாக்களில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருக்க, தமக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவிகளால் செய்யப்பட்ட இந்தவிதமான வெறுக்கத்தக்க காரியங்களைச் சகித்த அவரையே நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
௪பாவத்திற்கு விரோதமாகப் போராடுகிறதில் இரத்தம் சிந்தப்படத்தக்கதாக நீங்கள் இன்னும் எதிர்த்து நிற்கவில்லையே.
5 And you have completely forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not think lightly of the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you.
௫அன்றியும்: என் மகனே, கர்த்தருடைய கண்டிப்பை அற்பமாக நினைக்காதே, அவரால் கடிந்துகொள்ளப்படும்போது சோர்ந்துபோகாதே.
6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he punishes every son he receives.”
௬கர்த்தர் எவனை நேசிக்கிறாரோ அவனை அவர் கண்டித்து, தாம் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிற எந்த மகனையும் தண்டிக்கிறார் என்று குழந்தைகளுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதுபோல உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருக்கிற புத்திமதிகளை மறந்தீர்கள்.
7 For the sake of discipline you must endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
௭நீங்கள் கண்டிக்கப்படுவதை சகிக்கிறவர்களாக இருந்தால் தேவன் உங்களைப் பிள்ளைகளாக எண்ணி நடத்துகிறார்; தகப்பன் கண்டிக்காத பிள்ளைகள் உண்டோ?
8 If you do not experience discipline, which is something everyone receives, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
௮எல்லோருக்கும் கிடைக்கும் கண்டிப்பு உங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்காமல் இருந்தால் நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாக இல்லாமல் வேசியின் பிள்ளைகளாக இருப்பீர்களே.
9 Furthermore, we have all had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them. Should we not submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?
௯அன்றியும், நம்முடைய சரீரத்தின் தகப்பன்மார்கள் நம்மைக் கண்டிக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்கு நாம் பயந்து நடந்திருக்க, நாம் பிழைப்பதற்காக ஆவிகளின் பிதாவிற்கு அதிகமாக அடங்கி நடக்கவேண்டுமல்லவா?
10 For our fathers disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in his holiness.
௧0அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு நல்லதென்று தோன்றினபடி கொஞ்சக்காலம் கண்டித்தார்கள்; இவரோ தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தத்திற்கு நாம் பங்குள்ளவர்களாவதற்காக நம்முடைய பிரயோஜனத்துக்காகவே நம்மைக் கண்டிக்கிறார்
11 Now no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces the peaceful fruit of righteousness for those trained by it.
௧௧எந்தக் கண்டித்தலும் தற்காலத்தில் சந்தோஷமாக இல்லாமல் துக்கமாக இருக்கும்; ஆனாலும் பிற்காலத்தில் அதில் பழகினவர்களுக்கு அது நீதியாகிய சமாதான பலனைத் தரும்.
12 Therefore, lift up your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees.
௧௨ஆகவே, நெகிழ்ந்த கைகளையும் தளர்ந்த முழங்கால்களையும் நீங்கள் திரும்ப நிமிர்த்தி,
13 Make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but healed instead.
௧௩முடமாக இருக்கிறது பெலவீனமாகிப்போகாமல் குணமாவதற்காக, உங்களுடைய பாதங்களுக்கு வழிகளைச் சீர்ப்படுத்துங்கள்.
14 Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord.
௧௪எல்லோரோடும் சமாதானமாக இருக்கவும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவும் விரும்புங்கள்; பரிசுத்தம் இல்லாமல் ஒருவனும் கர்த்த்தரை தரிசிக்கமுடியாது.
15 Make sure no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble, which would result in many becoming defiled.
௧௫ஒருவனும் தேவனுடைய கிருபையை இழந்துபோகாமல் இருக்கவும், எந்தவொரு கசப்பான வேர் முளைத்து எழும்பிக் கலகம் உண்டாக்குகிறதினால் அநேகர் தீட்டுப்படாமல் இருக்கவும்,
16 And make sure there is no fornicator or profane person like Esau, who sold his birthright in exchange for a single meal.
௧௬ஒருவனும் வேசிக்கள்ளனாகவும், ஒருநேர உணவிற்காக தன் புத்திரசுவிகாரத்தை விற்றுப்போட்ட ஏசாவைப்போலச் சீர்கெட்டவனாகவும் இராதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்.
17 You know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance, even though he sought the blessing with tears.
௧௭ஏனென்றால், பின்பதாக அவன் ஆசீர்வாதத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள விரும்பியும், தகுதியற்றவன் என்று தள்ளப்பட்டதை அறிவீர்கள்; அவன் கண்ணீர்விட்டு, கவலையோடு தேடியும் மனம் மாறுதலைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை.
18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched, to a blazing fire, darkness, gloom, and a whirlwind.
௧௮அன்றியும், தொடக்கூடியதும், அக்கினி பற்றியெரிகிற மலையினிடமும், மந்தாரம், இருள், பெருங்காற்று ஆகிய இவைகளிடமும்,
19 You have not come to a trumpet blast and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further word be spoken to them.
௧௯எக்காளமுழக்கத்தினிடமும், வார்த்தைகளுடைய சத்தத்தினிடமும், நீங்கள் வந்து சேரவில்லை; அந்தச் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டவர்கள் பின்னும் தங்களுக்கு வார்த்தை சொல்லப்படாதபடி வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
20 For they could not bear the order that was given: “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.”
௨0ஏனென்றால், ஒரு மிருகமானாலும் மலையைத் தொட்டால், அது கல்லெறியப்பட்டு, அல்லது அம்பினால் எய்யப்பட்டுச் சாகவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லப்பட்ட கட்டளையைச் சகிக்கமுடியாமல் இருந்தார்கள்.
21 Indeed, the sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”
௨௧மோசேயும்: நான் மிகவும் பயந்து நடுங்குகிறேன் என்று சொல்லும் அளவிற்கு அந்தக் காட்சி அவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாக இருந்தது.
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels,
௨௨நீங்களோ சீயோன் மலையினிடமும், ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய நகரமாகிய பரம எருசலேமிடமும், ஆயிரமாயிரம் தேவதூதர்களிடமும்,
23 to the festive gathering and assembly of the firstborn, whose names are enrolled in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous people who have been made perfect.
௨௩பரலோகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதியிருக்கிற தலைப்பிள்ளைகளின் சர்வசங்கமாகிய சபையினிடமும், எல்லோருக்கும் நியாயாதிபதியாகிய தேவனிடமும், பூரணர்களாக்கப்பட்ட நீதிமான்களுடைய ஆவிகளினிடமும்,
24 And you have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
௨௪புதிய உடன்படிக்கையின் மத்தியஸ்தராகிய இயேசுவினிடமும், ஆபேலினுடைய இரத்தம் பேசினதைவிட நன்மையானவைகளைப் பேசுகிற இரத்தமாகிய தெளிக்கப்படும் இரத்தத்தினிடமும் வந்து சேர்ந்தீர்கள்.
25 Be careful not to refuse him who is speaking. For if the people did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?
௨௫பேசுகிறவருக்கு நீங்கள் கவனிக்கமாட்டோம் என்று விலகாமல் இருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்; ஏனென்றால், பூமியிலே பேசினவருக்கு கவனிக்கமாட்டோம் என்று விலகினவர்கள் தண்டனைக்குத் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ளாமல் இருக்க, பரலோகத்தில் இருந்து பேசுகிறவரை நாம் விட்டுவிலகினால் எப்படித் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவோம்?
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”
௨௬அவருடைய சத்தம் அப்பொழுது பூமியை அசையப்பண்ணினது; இன்னும் ஒருமுறை நான் பூமியை மட்டுமல்ல, வானத்தையும் அசையப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று இப்பொழுது வாக்குத்தத்தம் செய்திருக்கிறார்.
27 Now the phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
௨௭இன்னும் ஒருமுறை என்கிற சொல்லானது அசையாதவைகள் நிலைத்திருப்பதற்காக, அசைவுள்ளவைகள் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டவைகள்போல மாறிப்போகும் என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. It is by our thankfulness that we offer God acceptable worship, with reverence and godly fear.
௨௮ஆகவே, அசைவில்லாத ராஜ்யத்தைப் பெறுகிறவர்களாகிய நாம் பயத்தோடும் பக்தியோடும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாக ஆராதனை செய்வதற்காக கிருபையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
௨௯நம்முடைய தேவன் சுட்டெரிக்கிற அக்கினியாக இருக்கிறாரே.
