Hebrews 12
1 Therefore, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that lies before us,
ଅତଏବ, ଏଡ଼େ ବୃହତ୍ ମେଘ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସାକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ହେବାରୁ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଭାର ଓ ସହଜରେ ବେଷ୍ଟନକାରୀ ପାପ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ବିଶ୍ୱାସର ନେତା ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧଦାତା ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସହକାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥରେ ଧାବମାନ ହେଉ।
2 fixing our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
ସେ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଆନନ୍ଦ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅପମାନକୁ ସହ୍ୟ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସହ କ୍ରୁଶୀୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଭୋଗ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners against himself, so that you will not grow weary or lose heart.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନରେ ଶ୍ରାନ୍ତକ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ନ ହୁଅ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଯେ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏଡ଼େ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳାଚରଣ ସହ୍ୟ କଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ବିବେଚନା କର।
4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାପ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ଏଯାଏଁ ରକ୍ତ-ବ୍ୟୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରି ନାହଁ,
5 And you have completely forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not think lightly of the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you.
ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଉକ୍ତ ଏହି ଉତ୍ସାହବାକ୍ୟ ଭୁଲିଅଛ, “ହେ ମୋହର ପୁତ୍ର, ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଶାସନକୁ ଲଘୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ କର ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅନୁଯୋଗ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ;
6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he punishes every son he receives.”
କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହାକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି, ତାହାକୁ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି, ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରନ୍ତି।”
7 For the sake of discipline you must endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
ଶାସନ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ଳେଶ ସହ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛ ଈଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପୁତ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ପିତା ଯାହାକୁ ଶାସନ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏପରି ପୁତ୍ର କିଏ ଅଛି?
8 If you do not experience discipline, which is something everyone receives, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଶାସନର ସମସ୍ତେ ସହଭାଗୀ, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେଥିର ଅଂଶୀ ନୁହଁ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପୁତ୍ର ନ ହୋଇ ଜାରଜ ଅଟ।
9 Furthermore, we have all had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them. Should we not submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?
ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ୟ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶାସନକାରୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶାରୀରିକ ପିତୃଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମାଦର କଲୁ, ତେବେ ଆତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କର ବରଂ କେତେ ଅଧିକ ରୂପେ ବଶୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ନ ହେବୁ?
10 For our fathers disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in his holiness.
କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ବିହିତ ବୋଧ ହେଲା, ତଦନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ ଅଳ୍ପ ଦିନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶାସନ କଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ରତାର ସହଭାଗୀ ହେଉ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି।
11 Now no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces the peaceful fruit of righteousness for those trained by it.
ଶାସନ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆନନ୍ଦଜନକ ବୋଧ ନ ହୋଇ ଦୁଃଖଜନକ ବୋଧ ହୁଏ ତଥାପି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶାନ୍ତିର ଫଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ।
12 Therefore, lift up your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees.
ଅତଏବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହସ୍ତ ଓ ଅବଶ ଜାନୁ ସବଳ କର,
13 Make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but healed instead.
ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପାଦ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଳଖ ପଥ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର ଯେପରି ଯାହା ଖଞ୍ଜ, ତାହା ଅଧିକ ବିକୃତ ନ ହୋଇ ବରଂ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୁଏ।
14 Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord.
ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କର, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ପବିତ୍ରତା ବିନା କେହି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ, ସେଥିର ଅନୁସରଣ କର,
15 Make sure no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble, which would result in many becoming defiled.
କାଳେ କେହି ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରୁ ପତିତ ହୁଏ ଅବା କୌଣସି ତିକ୍ତତାର ମୂଳ ଅଙ୍କୁରିତ ହୋଇ ବଢ଼ି ଉଠି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କରେ, ଆଉ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ଅନେକେ କଳୁଷିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି;
16 And make sure there is no fornicator or profane person like Esau, who sold his birthright in exchange for a single meal.
କିଅବା କେହି ପାରଦାରିକ, ବା ଥରକର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠାଧିକାର ବିକ୍ରୟକାରୀ ଯେ ଏଷୌ, ତାହା ପରି ବିଧର୍ମାଚାରୀ ହୁଏ, ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ସାବଧାନ ହୁଅ।
17 You know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance, even though he sought the blessing with tears.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ଜାଣ ଯେ, ପରେ ସେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦର ଅଧିକାରୀ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ ହେଲା, ପୁଣି, ଅନୁତାପ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଶ୍ରୁପାତ ସହ ଯତ୍ନରେ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ ହେଁ ତାହା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଉ ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଲା ନାହିଁ।
18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched, to a blazing fire, darkness, gloom, and a whirlwind.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ପୃଶ୍ୟ ପର୍ବତ ଓ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନି ନିକଟକୁ ପୁଣି, ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘ, ଅନ୍ଧକାର, ଝଡ଼,
19 You have not come to a trumpet blast and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further word be spoken to them.
ତୂରୀଧ୍ୱନୀ ଓ ବାକ୍ୟର ଶବ୍ଦ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ନାହଁ, ଶ୍ରୋତାମାନେ ସେହି ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣି ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ବାକ୍ୟ କୁହା ନ ଯାଏ, ଏହା ନିବେଦନ କରିଥିଲେ;
20 For they could not bear the order that was given: “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.”
“ଯେଣୁ କୌଣସି ପଶୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଯଦି ସେହି ପର୍ବତ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରେ, ତେବେ ସେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରାଘାତରେ ହତ ହେବ”, ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା, ତାହା ସେମାନେ ସହ୍ୟ କରିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ;
21 Indeed, the sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”
ଆଉ ସେହି ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଏପରି ଭୟଙ୍କର ଥିଲା ଯେ, ମୋଶା ହିଁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଭୀତ ଓ କମ୍ପିତ ହେଉଅଛି।”
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels,
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତ ଓ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନଗର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗୀୟ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ, ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ଦୂତବାହିନୀଙ୍କ ମହୋତ୍ସବ,
23 to the festive gathering and assembly of the firstborn, whose names are enrolled in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous people who have been made perfect.
ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଲିଖିତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତମାନଙ୍କର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ, ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଈଶ୍ବର, ସିଦ୍ଧିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମାଗଣ,
24 And you have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
ନୂତନ ନିୟମର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥ ଯୀଶୁ, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ସେଚନର ରକ୍ତ ହେବଲଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟତର ବାକ୍ୟ କହେ, ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଅଛ।
25 Be careful not to refuse him who is speaking. For if the people did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?
ସାବଧାନ, ଯେ ବାକ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ମୋଶା ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରିବାରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ଯଦି ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ, ତେବେ ଯେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବା ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ଯେ ଅଧିକ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ!
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”
ସେତେବେଳେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଟଳମଳ କଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, “ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ କେବଳ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ କମ୍ପାଇବା, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆକାଶକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କମ୍ପାଇବା।”
27 Now the phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
ପୁନର୍ବାର ବୋଲି କହିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହା ବୁଝାଯାଏ ଯେ, ଅଟଳ ବିଷୟସବୁ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଟଳମଳ ବିଷୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସୃଷ୍ଟ ବିଷୟସବୁର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେବ।
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. It is by our thankfulness that we offer God acceptable worship, with reverence and godly fear.
ଅତଏବ, ଅଟଳ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବାରୁ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କୃତଜ୍ଞ ହୋଇ ଭୟ ଓ ଭକ୍ତି ସହକାରେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତୋଷଜନକ ଉପାସନା କରୁ।
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଈଶ୍ବର ଗ୍ରାସକାରୀ ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ୱରୂପ।
