Ephesians 4
1 Therefore I, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received,
Молю убо вас аз юзник о Господе, достойно ходити звания, в неже звани бысте,
2 with all humility and gentleness, and with patience, bearing with one another in love,
со всяким смиреномудрием и кротостию, с долготерпением, терпяще друг другу любовию,
3 and being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
тщащеся блюсти единение духа в союзе мира.
4 There is one body and one Spirit (just as you were called to one hope at your calling),
Едино тело, един дух, якоже и звани бысте во единем уповании звания вашего:
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
един Господь, едина вера, едино крещение,
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.
един Бог и Отец всех, Иже над всеми и чрез всех и во всех нас.
7 Now each one of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ's gift.
Единому же комуждо нас дадеся благодать по мере дарования Христова.
8 Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to men.”
Темже глаголет: возшед на высоту, пленил еси плен, и даде даяния человеком.
9 (Now what does “he ascended” mean except that he first also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
А еже, взыде, что есть, точию яко и сниде прежде в долнейшыя страны земли?
10 He who descended is the very one who ascended far above all the heavens, so that he might fill all things.)
Сшедый, Той есть и возшедый превыше всех небес, да исполнит всяческая.
11 It was he who appointed some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
И Той дал есть овы убо Апостолы, овы же пророки, овы же Благовестники, овы же пастыри и учители,
12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry and to build up the body of Christ,
к совершению святых, в дело служения, в созидание Тела Христова,
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ's fullness.
дондеже достигнем вси в соединение веры и познания Сына Божия, в мужа совершенна, в меру возраста исполнения Христова:
14 So we must no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men and their craftiness in deceitful scheming.
да не бываем ктому младенцы, влающеся и скитающеся всяким ветром учения, во лжи человечестей, в коварстве козней льщения:
15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, that is, Christ.
истинствующе же в любви, да возрастим в Него всяческая, Иже есть глава Христос,
16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting joint, grows and builds itself up in love as each individual part does its work.
из Негоже все тело, составляемо и счиневаемо приличне всяцем осязанием подаяния, по действу в мере единыя коеяждо части, возращение тела творит в создание самаго себе любовию.
17 Therefore, I solemnly declare in the Lord that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.
Сие убо глаголю и послушествую о Господе, ктому не ходити вам, якоже и прочии языцы ходят в суете ума их,
18 They are darkened in their understanding, being excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
помрачени смыслом, суще отчуждени от жизни Божия, за невежество сущее в них, за окаменение сердец их:
19 They became callous and gave themselves up to lewd behavior, greedy to engage in every kind of impurity.
иже в нечаяние вложшеся, предаша себе студодеянию, в делание всякия нечистоты в лихоимании.
20 But you did not learn Christ in that way!
Вы же не тако познасте Христа:
21 Surely you have heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus,
аще убо слышасте Его и о Нем научистеся, якоже есть истина о Иисусе:
22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former way of life and is being corrupted by its deceitful desires,
отложити вам, по первому житию, ветхаго человека, тлеющаго в похотех прелестных,
23 to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
обновлятися же духом ума вашего,
24 and to put on the new self, created according to the image of God in true righteousness and holiness.
и облещися в новаго человека, созданнаго по Богу в правде и в преподобии истины.
25 Therefore, having laid aside falsehood, each of you must speak the truth with his neighbor, because we are members of one another.
Темже отложше лжу, глаголите истину кийждо ко искреннему своему. Зане есмы друг другу удове.
26 Do not sin in your anger. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
Гневайтеся и не согрешайте: солнце да не зайдет в гневе вашем:
27 and do not give any opportunity to the devil.
ниже дадите места диаволу.
28 He who steals must no longer steal; rather he must labor, doing honest work with his hands, so that he may have something to contribute to anyone in need.
Крадый ктому да не крадет, но паче да труждается, делая своима рукама благое, да имать подаяти требующему.
29 Let no foul word come out of your mouth, but only what is good for edification, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Всяко слово гнило да не исходит из уст ваших, но точию еже есть благо к созданию веры, да даст благодать слышащым.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
И не оскорбляйте Духа Святаго Божия, Имже знаменастеся в день избавления.
31 Put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and slander, together with all malice.
Всяка горесть, и гнев, и ярость, и кличь, и хула да возмется от вас, со всякою злобою:
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ has forgiven us.
бывайте же друг ко другу блази, милосерди, прощающе друг другу, якоже и Бог во Христе простил есть вам.
