< Ephesians 2 >

1 You were dead in the trespasses and sins
Teewadi sen rangdah nyia laboichaat thoidi sen loong ah chiiala ni tekmang angtan.
2 in which you once walked when you followed the ways of this world and the ruler of the realm of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. (aiōn g165)
Erah tokdi arah mongrep dowa ethih ekhah lam ah phantan; sen loong ah ih rangwaatdam dowa ethih chiiala pante loong jeng kaptan, amadi uh Rangte jeng laboichaatte loong ah erah chiiala rah ih pan rumha. (aiōn g165)
3 Among them we all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, carrying out the desires of our flesh and our impulses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
Amiimiidi seng loong ah seng hansi ih jen thoidi neng likhiik ih songtongti, seng hansi raangtaan ih tiim jamti nyia tiim thunti erah jun ih songtongti. Hansi nah jaatjaat mok tongthaati bah Rangte tenkhat ah seng sak nah angtheng taha, wahoh loong sak ni angla likhiik ah:
4 Yet God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
Enoothong Rangte minchan ah erathan ehan adoleh heh mongnook ah erathan ih rakla,
5 made us alive together with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses—by grace you have been saved.
heh jeng laboichaat thoidi chiiala ni tekmang laang angti bah uh Kristo damdi ngaakthing ih thuk hali. Rangte minchan je tungkaangdi ba seng loong ah puipang hali.
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Rangmong nawa mongrep nah roongtong suh Kristo Jisu damdi roongroop thuk heeno seng uh ngaaksaat ih thuk hali.
7 so that in the ages to come he might show the surpassing riches of his grace through his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
Erah langla, Jisu Kristo jun ih seng minchan hali ah liwang nah uh heh minchan ah hedakdak rakla ngeh ih saarookwet raang ih noisok suh minchan hali. (aiōn g165)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Tiimnge liidi Rangte minchan ih ba sen tuumaang jun ih pui lan. Erah senchaan senphaan nawa ih tah angka, erabah Rangte lakkot, erah suh o uh tajen khuupookka.
9 not by works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Rangte ih seng mamah ah erah likhiik ih dongsiit tahe, eno Jisu Kristo damdi roongroop eno seng roidong doh mootse kaatse pakna suh dongsiit tahe, marah pakna heh ih seng suh reethuk suh jenban khookham thiin eta rah ah.
11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “the uncircumcision” by those who call themselves “the circumcision,” which is made in the flesh by hands—
Sen dongtup tahan dowa ih sen loong ah Ranglajatte—Jehudi loong ih “khoopkhan muh” ngeh ih men halan, neng teewah suh baleh khoopkhan choi ih liiha (neng sakpuh nah miwah ih tiim etheng ah erah toobaat ha)—ehakdi mamah angtan erah samthun ih an.
12 remember that you were apart from Christ at that time, excluded from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Erah tokdi sen Kristo reenawa haloh angtan. Sen loong ah mideek mikaante angtan nyia Rangte ih danje han rah mina tah angtan. Heh mina loong suh kakhamta jun ih, sen loong ah kakham jengdang adi taroop tan, eno arah mongrep adi sen loong ah laalom muh nyia Rangte muh ih tongtan.
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Enoothong, amadi, sen loong ah haloh angtan loong ah Kristo Jisu damdi roongroop anno Kristo sih jun ih heh reeni thoksiit halan.
14 For he is our peace, who has united both the Jews and Gentiles into one people and has broken down the wall of hostility that divided us.
Tiimnge liidi Kristo heh teeteewah ih Jehudi nyia Ranglajatte loong ah phoosiit hoonthuk heeno semroongroong ih tongthuk hali. Seng loong ah seng jaachi ni koiraangthuk tangchook ah likhiik piiara ih tongti eno erah heh sakpuh ih thet haatta.
15 He did this by abolishing the law with its commandments and ordinances in order to make peace between the two groups and create in himself one new people.
Jehudi Hootthe ni jengdang nyia banlam hantek angta loong ah heh ih matsiitta, erah langla heh teewah damdoh roongroop ano Jehudi nyia Ranglajatte loong ah jaatsiit paatsiit esiit eh hoonthuk suh ah, neng jaachi ni semroongroong emah dong angthuk rumta.
16 He reconciled both groups to God in one body through the cross, by which he put the hostility to death.
Kristo ih heh roidong ah bangphak khoni tekthuk thoidi neng jaachi ni piiara ih tong rumta ah matsiitta; bangphak jun ih neng changnyi ah sakpuh esiit ni roopthuk ano Rangte reeni ngaaksiit rum taha.
17 He came and preached the good news of peace to you who were far away and to those who were near.
Semroongroong Ruurang tiit ah Kristo ih loongtang suh baattaan tahan—erah langla Ranglajatte o Rangte reenawa haloh ni angtan loong suh baat tahan, adoleh Jehudi mina o heh reeni angtan loong suh baat tahan.
18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
Eno seng loong ah Jehudi angkojio adoleh Ranglajatte angkojio, Kristo jun ih ba heh Wah reeni Chiiala esiit ni jen thok hali.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
Erah raangtaan ih, Ranglajatte sen loong ah mideekte nyia dookdate takah angkan; aanoobah Rangte mina nyia Rangte changka ih hoonlan.
20 built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.
Sen loong ah uh nok hoon ah likhiik, kaamwah nyia khowah loong ih thong phangchapta di roong rooplan, erah di thonghong ah langla Kristo Jisu heh teeteewah.
21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
Erah ah ju heh teewah nok thoontang ah roopjoh ano Teesu rangsoomnok esa ih dongtoon chap thukte rah ah.
22 And in him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God in the Spirit.
Heh damdi roongroop thuk hanno sen loong ah nep erah nok adi wahoh loong damdi wakroop thuk halan, maradi Chiiala ni Rangte tongla adi ah.
