< 2 Peter 1 >

1 Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
Simoni Piela, kisadi ayi mvuala wu Yesu Klisto mfidisidi nkanda kuidi bobo batambula minu ki thalu yimosi banga beto mu nzila yi busonga bu Nzambi eto ayi Mvulusi eto Yesu Klisto.
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Bika baluwokisila nlemvo ayi ndembama mu nzila yi nzayilu yi Nzambi ayi Yesu, Pfumu eto.
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue.
Lulendo luandi, lutuvana bima bioso biobi tuvua mfunu mu luzingu ayi mu kukiyekula mu nzila yi zaba mutu wowo wututela mu nkembo andi ayi muvanganga mambote.
4 Through these he has given us his precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires.
Mu nzila yoyi katuvanina zitsila zinneni ayi zilutidi thalu muingi mu ziawu beno mamveno lufubakana mu kithuadi mu lunitu lu kinzambi beno bu lutina mbivusu yi nzinunu yidi va ntoto.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, your virtue with knowledge,
Mu diambu diodi bika lutula zingolo zieno mu buela vanganga mambote va mbata minu kieno; nzayilu va mbata vanganga mambote;
6 your knowledge with self-control, your self-control with endurance, your endurance with godliness,
kukiyala va mbata nzayilu; thatumunu va mbata kukiyala; kukiyekula kuidi Nzambi va mbata thatumunu;
7 your godliness with brotherly affection, and your brotherly affection with love.
luzolo lu kikhomba va mbata kukiyekula kudi Nzambi; bosi luzolo va mbata luzolo lu kikhomba.
8 For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bila enati mambu mama madi yeno ayi enati mawu malembo yilama mu beno buna malendi kulukitula miolo ko ayi bisita ko mu nzayilu eno yi Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto.
9 For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten the cleansing of his former sins.
Bila mutu kambulu mambu mama widi banga phofo ayi kamonanga mbote ko. Wuzimbakana ti wuvedoso mu masumu mandi ma thama.
10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm that you are among those whom God has called and chosen, because if you do these things, you will never stumble.
Diawu, bakhomba ziama, bika lumonisa bufula mu kindisa lutelo lueno ayi tsobobolo eno. Bila enati lumvanga mambu mama buna lulendi bua ko,
11 For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you. (aiōnios g166)
ayi buna bela kuluyakula bumbote mu kipfumu ki mvu ka mvu ki Pfumu eto ayi Mvulusi eto Yesu Klisto. (aiōnios g166)
12 Therefore, I will not neglect to keep reminding you about these things, though you know them and are established in the truth you now have.
Diawu ndiela kulutebulanga mu zithangu zioso moyo mu mambu mama; ka diambu ko luzebi mawu ayi luidi bakinda mu kiedika ki thangu yayi.
13 I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent, to stir you up by way of reminder,
Vayi minu mbueni ti didi diambu disonga mu kulutebula moyo bu ndikidi zingi mu nitu yayi
14 because I know that this tent will soon be laid aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.
bila nzebi ti fioti kuandi fisiedi buna ndieka bika nitu beni banga bumbonisina Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto.
15 And I will make every effort to ensure that after my departure you will be able to recall these things at any time.
Vayi ndiela tula zingolo mu diambu lutebukilanga mambu mama moyo ka diambu ko minu ndiedi.
16 For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
Bila tusia landakana zinongo zituama yindulu bumbote ko mu thangu tuluzabikisa lulendo ayi ndizulu yi Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto vayi beto tuba bambangi bamona nzitusu andi.
17 For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice came to him from the Majestic Glory: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Bila wutambula nzitusu ayi nkembo kuidi Nzambi Tata mu thangu mbembo yitotukila mu nkembo wunneni wu Nzambi yituba ti: “Niani niandi muanꞌama wu luzolo; khini yiwombo kakumbonisanga.”
18 We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
Ayi beto mamveto tuwa mbembo beni yitotukila ku diyilu mu thangu tuba yandi va kimosi va mbata mongo wunlongo.
19 So we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed. You will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Ayi tubeki mambu ma mimbikudi makitulu makinda; mu mawu lufueti lubukila bila madi banga muinda wunlema mu tombi nate buisi butona kienzuka ayi mbuetete yi nsuka yintotuka mu mintima mieno.
20 First of all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation.
Mu mamo momo bika lutuama zaba ti kadi mutu wumosi kalendi sudikisa ko kadi mbikudulu yimosi yi masonoko mu diela diandi veka.
21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Bila mbikudulu yiyizilanga mu luzolo lu mutu ko vayi batu banlongo ba Nzambi bayoluka bu badiatusu kuidi pheve Yinlongo.
