2 Corinthians 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia:

۱ پولس به اراده خدا رسول عیسی مسیح وتیموتاوس برادر، به کلیسای خدا که در قرنتس می‌باشد با همه مقدسینی که در تمام اخائیه هستند،

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

۲ فیض و سلامتی از پدر ما خدا و عیسی مسیح خداوند به شما باد.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

۳ متبارک باد خدا و پدر خداوند ما عیسی مسیح که پدر رحمتها و خدای جمیع تسلیات است،

4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we can comfort those experiencing any kind of affliction with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

۴ که ما را در هر تنگی ما تسلی می‌دهد تا مابتوانیم دیگران را در هر مصیبتی که باشد تسلی نماییم، به آن تسلی که خود از خدا یافته‌ایم.

5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

۵ زیرا به اندازه‌ای که دردهای مسیح در ما زیاده شود، به همین قسم تسلی ما نیز بوسیله مسیح می‌افزاید.

6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, which helps you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. And our hope for you is steadfast. If we are comforted, it is also for your comfort and salvation,

۶ اما خواه زحمت کشیم، این است برای تسلی و نجات شما، و خواه تسلی پذیریم این هم بجهت تسلی و نجات شما است که میسرمی شود از صبر داشتن در همین دردهایی که ما هم می‌بینیم.

7 because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

۷ و امید ما برای شما استوار می‌شودزیرا می‌دانیم که چنانکه شما شریک دردهاهستید، همچنین شریک تسلی نیز خواهید بود.

8 We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.

۸ زیرا‌ای برادران نمی خواهیم شما بی‌خبرباشید از تنگی‌ای که در آسیا به ما عارض گردید که بینهایت و فوق از طاقت بار کشیدیم، بحدی که از جان هم مایوس شدیم.

9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But this happened so that we would not rely on ourselves, but on God, who raises the dead.

۹ لکن در خود فتوای موت داشتیم تا بر خود توکل نکنیم، بلکه بر خداکه مردگان را برمی خیزاند،

10 He rescued us from such a terrible death, and continues to rescue us. We have put our hope in him that he will rescue us yet again

۱۰ که ما را از چنین موت رهانید و می‌رهاند و به او امیدواریم که بعداز این هم خواهد رهانید.

11 as you join in helping us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on your behalf for the favor granted to us through the prayers of many.

۱۱ و شما نیز به دعا درحق ما اعانت می‌کنید تا آنکه برای آن نعمتی که ازاشخاص بسیاری به ما رسید، شکرگزاری هم بجهت ما از بسیاری به‌جا آورده شود.

12 Now this is the reason for our confidence: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with integrity and godly sincerity, not by worldly wisdom, but by the grace of God.

۱۲ زیرا که فخر ما این است یعنی شهادت ضمیر ما که به قدوسیت و اخلاص خدایی، نه به حکمت جسمانی، بلکه به فیض الهی در جهان رفتار نمودیم و خصوص نسبت به شما.

13 For we are not writing anything to you other than what you can read and understand. And I hope that you will understand completely—

۱۳ زیراچیزی به شما نمی نویسیم مگر آنچه می‌خوانید وبه آن اعتراف می‌کنید و امیدوارم که تا به آخراعتراف هم خواهید کرد.

14 just as you have understood us in part—that on the day of the Lord Jesus you will be proud of us just as we will be proud of you.

۱۴ چنانکه به مافی الجمله اعتراف گردید که محل فخر شماهستیم، چنانکه شما نیز ما را می‌باشید در روزعیسی خداوند.

15 Because I was confident of this, I intended to come to you first, so that you would be blessed by a second visit.

۱۵ و بدین اعتماد قبل از این خواستم به نزدشما آیم تا نعمتی دیگر بیابید،

16 I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia and return to you from Macedonia, and then have you send me on my way to Judea.

۱۶ و از راه شما به مکادونیه بروم و باز از مکادونیه نزد شما بیایم و شما مرا به سوی یهودیه مشایعت کنید.

17 Was I vacillating when I planned to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner, ready to say “Yes” and “No” at the same time?

۱۷ پس چون این را خواستم، آیا سهل انگاری کردم یاعزیمت من عزیمت بشری باشد تا آنکه به نزد من بلی بلی و نی نی باشد.

18 As surely as God is faithful, our message to you did not waver between “Yes” and “No.”

۱۸ لیکن خدا امین است که سخن ما با شما بلی و نی نیست.

19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom Silvanus, Timothy, and I preached among you, did not waver between “Yes” and “No.” On the contrary, in him God's answer has always been “Yes.”

۱۹ زیرا که پسرخدا عیسی مسیح که ما یعنی من و سلوانس وتیموتاوس در میان شما به وی موعظه کردیم، بلی و نی نشد بلکه در او بلی شده است.

20 For in him every one of God's promises is “Yes,” and in him we say “Amen” to the glory of God.

۲۰ زیراچندان‌که وعده های خدا است، همه در او بلی واز این جهت در او امین است تا خدا از ما تمجیدیابد.

21 Now it is God who establishes us with you in Christ and who anointed us.

۲۱ اما او که ما را با شما در مسیح استوارمی گرداند و ما را مسح نموده است، خداست.

22 He has also sealed us and put his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

۲۲ که او نیز ما را مهر نموده و بیعانه روح را دردلهای ما عطا کرده است.

23 I call upon God as a witness against me, that the reason I did not return to Corinth was to spare you.

۲۳ لیکن من خدا را بر جان خود شاهدمی خوانم که برای شفقت بر شما تا بحال به قرنتس نیامدم،

24 Not that we rule over your faith; rather, we work with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm.

۲۴ نه آنکه بر ایمان شما حکم کرده باشیم بلکه شادی شما را مددکار هستیم زیرا که به ایمان قایم هستید.
