1 Corinthians 15
1 Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel that I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് അറിയിച്ചതും നിങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചതും നിങ്ങൾ സുസ്ഥിരരായി നിൽക്കുന്നതുമായ സുവിശേഷത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങളെ ഓർമിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the message that I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് അറിയിച്ച സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ വചനത്തിലൂടെ നിങ്ങൾ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു മുറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചു കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചതു വ്യർഥമായിത്തീരും.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിൻപ്രകാരം മരിച്ച് അടക്കപ്പെട്ടശേഷം മൂന്നാംദിവസം തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിൻപ്രകാരം ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നിങ്ങനെ എനിക്കു നൽകപ്പെട്ട പരമപ്രധാനമായ വചനം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുതന്നല്ലോ.
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the twelve.
അവിടന്ന് പത്രോസിനും തുടർന്ന് പന്ത്രണ്ട് ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
6 Next he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, but some have fallen asleep.
അതിനുശേഷം അവിടന്ന് അഞ്ഞൂറിലധികം സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരേസമയം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു, അവരിൽ ചിലർ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചെങ്കിലും അധികംപേരും ഇപ്പോഴും ജീവനോടെയിരിക്കുന്നു.
7 Next he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
പിന്നീട് അവിടന്ന് യാക്കോബിനും അതിനുശേഷം സകല അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു;
8 Last of all, as to one born at the wrong time, he appeared to me as well.
ഏറ്റവുമൊടുവിൽ, അകാലജാതനെപ്പോലെയുള്ള എനിക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
ഞാൻ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരിൽ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനാണ്. ദൈവസഭയെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് അപ്പൊസ്തലൻ എന്ന പേരിനു യോഗ്യനുമല്ല.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതു ദൈവകൃപയാൽ ആകുന്നു. എന്നോടുള്ള അവിടത്തെ കൃപ നിഷ്ഫലമായില്ല. ഞാൻ ആ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെക്കാളെല്ലാം അധികം അധ്വാനിച്ചു. എങ്കിലും അധ്വാനിച്ചതു ഞാനല്ല, എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ദൈവകൃപയാണ്.
11 Whether then it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you have come to believe.
അതുകൊണ്ടു പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നത് ഞാനായാലും, അവരായാലും, ഒരേ സന്ദേശമാണ്; ആ സന്ദേശം തന്നെയാണ് നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചതും.
12 Now if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നാണ് പ്രസംഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. അപ്പോൾ മരിച്ചവർക്കു പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ലെന്നു നിങ്ങളിൽ ചിലർ പറയുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?
13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എങ്കിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവും ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also in vain.
ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല എങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രസംഗം വ്യർഥം, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസവും വ്യർഥം.
15 We are even found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if indeed the dead are not raised.
തന്നെയുമല്ല, ദൈവം ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് ഉയിർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിനെതിരേ വ്യാജ സാക്ഷികൾ എന്നും വരും. കാരണം, മരിച്ചവർ വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ദൈവം ക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും ഉയിർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.
മരിച്ചവർക്കു പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിനും പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല.
17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം വ്യർഥം; നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
18 Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished.
ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച ശേഷം നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചവരും നശിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
19 If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
നമുക്കു ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള പ്രത്യാശ ഈ ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുമാത്രമെങ്കിൽ നാം സകലമനുഷ്യരിലും ശോചനീയരാണ്.
20 But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead; he has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
എന്നാൽ ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചവരിൽനിന്നുള്ള പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലമായിട്ടാണ്.
21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.
ഒരു മനുഷ്യനിലൂടെ മരണം, ഒരു മനുഷ്യനിലൂടെത്തന്നെ മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും!
22 For just as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
ആദാമിൽ എല്ലാവരും മരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ എല്ലാവരും ജീവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടും.
23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ.
എന്നാൽ ഓരോരുത്തരും അവരവരുടെ ക്രമമനുസരിച്ചായിരിക്കും ജീവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്: ആദ്യഫലം ക്രിസ്തു; പിന്നെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പുനരാഗമനത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിനുള്ളവർ;
24 Then comes the end, when he hands the kingdom over to God the Father, after he has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
അതിനുശേഷം അവിടന്നു സകലഭരണവും അധികാരവും ശക്തിയും നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിട്ട് രാജ്യം പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ പരിസമാപ്തി ഉണ്ടാകും.
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും തന്റെ കാൽക്കീഴിലാക്കുന്നതുവരെ ക്രിസ്തു വാഴേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
26 The last enemy to be abolished is death.
ഒടുവിലായി നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ശത്രുവാണു മരണം.
27 For God “has put everything in subjection under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything has been put in subjection,” it is evident that it does not include God himself, who put everything in subjection to Christ.
എന്തെന്നാൽ ദൈവം “സകലതും അവിടത്തെ കാൽക്കീഴാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സകലതും,” എന്നു പറയുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാം ക്രിസ്തുവിന് അധീനമാക്കിക്കൊടുത്ത ദൈവം ഒഴികെയാണ് എന്നതു സ്പഷ്ടം.
28 Now when everything has been subjected to him, the Son himself will also be subjected to him who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
സമസ്തവും തനിക്കു കീഴ്പ്പെട്ടശേഷം, പുത്രൻ സകലതും തനിക്കു കീഴാക്കിക്കൊടുത്ത ദൈവത്തിനു കീഴ്പ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും; അങ്ങനെ ദൈവം സകലത്തിലും സകലതും ആയിത്തീരും.
29 Otherwise, what are people doing when they get baptized for the dead? If the dead are not actually raised, why are people getting baptized for them?
മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനമേ ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ, ചിലർ മരിച്ചവർക്കുവേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏൽക്കുന്നതെന്തിന്? മരിച്ചവർ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏൽക്കുന്നതിന് എന്താണു പ്രസക്തി?
30 And why do we put ourselves in danger every hour?
ഞങ്ങളും നാഴികതോറും ആപത്തിലാകുന്നതെന്തിന്?
31 I die daily! Yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള പ്രശംസയുടെ ഉറപ്പിൽ ഞാൻ തീർത്തു പറയട്ടെ, ഞാൻ ദിവസേന മരണം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുകയാണ്.
32 If I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
എഫേസോസിൽവെച്ചു ഞാൻ വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളോടു പോരാടിയതു കേവലം മാനുഷികകാരണങ്ങളാൽ എങ്കിൽ അതുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്കെന്തു നേട്ടം? മരിച്ചവർ ഉയിർക്കുന്നില്ല എങ്കിൽ, “നമുക്കു തിന്നുകുടിക്കാം, നാളെ നാം മരിക്കുമല്ലോ.”
33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
വഴിതെറ്റിക്കപ്പെടരുത്. “ഹീനമായ സൗഹൃദം സദ്ഗുണങ്ങളെ ദുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.”
34 Come to your senses, as is right, and stop sinning. For there are some who are ignorant of God. I say this to your shame.
നീതിബോധമുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുക. പാപംചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക. നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലജ്ജ തോന്നുന്നതിനായിത്തന്നെ ഞാൻ പറയട്ടെ, ചിലർക്കു ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിവില്ല.
35 But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”
“മരിച്ചവർ എങ്ങനെ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു? ഏതുതരം ശരീരത്തോടെ അവർ വരുന്നു?” എന്നിങ്ങനെ ചിലർ ചോദിച്ചേക്കാം.
36 Fool! What yoʋ sow does not come to life unless it dies.
ബുദ്ധികെട്ട മനുഷ്യാ, നീ വിതയ്ക്കുന്ന വിത്തു ചാകുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ജീവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
37 And what yoʋ sow is not the body that will be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or some other grain.
ഉണ്ടാകാനിരിക്കുന്ന ശരീരമല്ല നീ വിതയ്ക്കുന്നത്, പിന്നെയോ ഗോതമ്പിന്റെയോ മറ്റെന്തിന്റെയെങ്കിലുമോ വിത്തുമാത്രമാണു വിതയ്ക്കുന്നത്.
38 But God gives it a body just as he has determined, and he gives to each of the seeds its own body.
എന്നാൽ ദൈവം അവിടത്തെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം, ഗോതമ്പിന് ഒരുതരം ശരീരവും, ഓരോതരം വിത്തിനും അതതിന്റെ തരം ശരീരവും നൽകുന്നു.
39 Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for fish, and another for birds.
എല്ലാ മാംസവും ഒരേ തരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല. മനുഷ്യരുടെ മാംസം ഒരുതരം, മൃഗങ്ങളുടേതു മറ്റൊരുതരം, പക്ഷികളുടേതു വേറെ, മത്സ്യങ്ങളുടേതു വേറെ.
40 There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of heavenly bodies is one kind, and the glory of earthly bodies is another.
സ്വർഗീയശരീരങ്ങളും ലൗകികശരീരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്. സ്വർഗീയശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സ് ഒരു വിധത്തിലുള്ളത്; ലൗകികശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു മറ്റൊരു വിധത്തിലുള്ളത്.
41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.
സൂര്യന്റെ തേജസ്സ് ഒരുവിധം, ചന്ദ്രന്റേതു മറ്റൊരുവിധം, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറൊരുവിധം. നക്ഷത്രവും നക്ഷത്രവുംതമ്മിൽ തേജസ്സിൽ വ്യത്യാസമുണ്ട്.
42 So it is with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, but it is raised imperishable.
മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും അങ്ങനെതന്നെയാണ്. നശ്വരമായ ശരീരം വിതയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, അനശ്വരമായ ശരീരം ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
അപമാനത്തിൽ വിതയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, തേജസ്സിൽ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ബലഹീനതയിൽ വിതയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ശക്തിയിൽ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
44 It is sown as a natural body; it is raised as a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
വിതയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് ഭൗതികശരീരം, ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതോ ആത്മികശരീരം. ഭൗതികശരീരം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ആത്മികശരീരവും ഉണ്ട്.
45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
“ആദ്യമനുഷ്യനായ ആദാം ജീവനുള്ളവനായിത്തീർന്നു” എന്നെഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ; അവസാനത്തെ ആദാം ജീവൻ നൽകുന്ന ആത്മാവായി.
46 However, the spiritual body is not first, but the natural body, then the spiritual body.
ആദ്യമുണ്ടായത് ആത്മികമല്ല, ഭൗതികമായിരുന്നു. ആത്മികം അതിനുശേഷം.
47 The first man was from the earth, made of dust; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
ഒന്നാംമനുഷ്യൻ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നുള്ള മർത്യൻ; രണ്ടാംമനുഷ്യനോ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവൻ.
48 As was the man made of dust, so are those made of dust; and as is the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly.
ആ മർത്യനെപ്പോലെതന്നെ ശേഷം മർത്യരും, സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെതന്നെ സ്വർഗീയരും ആകുന്നു.
49 Just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, let us also bear the image of the heavenly man.
നാം ആ മർത്യന്റെ സ്വരൂപം ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ സ്വർഗീയന്റെയും സ്വരൂപം ധരിക്കും.
50 Now I tell you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does what is perishable inherit what is imperishable.
സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, ജഡരക്തങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കാൻ സാധ്യമല്ലെന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; നശ്വരമായത് അനശ്വരതയെ അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക, ഞാൻ ഒരു രഹസ്യം നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാം: നാം എല്ലാവരും നിദ്രപ്രാപിക്കുകയില്ല, നാം എല്ലാവരും രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടും.
52 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet call. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
അന്ത്യകാഹളധ്വനി മുഴങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, ക്ഷണനേരത്തിൽ, കണ്ണിമയ്ക്കുന്നതിനിടയിൽ മരിച്ചവർ അക്ഷയരായി ഉയിർപ്പിക്കപ്പെടും; നാം രൂപാന്തരം പ്രാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
53 For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
ഈ നശ്വരമായത് അനശ്വരതയെയും ഈ മർത്യമായത് അമർത്യതയെയും ധരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
54 Now when this perishable body has put on imperishability, and this mortal body has put on immortality, then this saying that is written will be fulfilled: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
ഇങ്ങനെ ഈ നശ്വരമായത് അനശ്വരതയെയും ഈ മർത്യമായത് അമർത്യതയെയും ധരിച്ചുകഴിയുമ്പോൾ, “മരണത്തെ വിജയം ഗ്രസിച്ചു” എന്നു എഴുതിയ വചനം നിറവേറും.
“ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ ജയം എവിടെ? ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ള് എവിടെ?” (Hadēs g86)
56 Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
മരണത്തിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ള് പാപം; പാപത്തിന്റെ ശക്തി ന്യായപ്രമാണം.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രം! നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലൂടെ അവിടന്ന് നമുക്കു വിജയം നൽകുന്നു.
58 So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ പ്രിയസഹോദരങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങൾ അചഞ്ചലരായിരിക്കുക; യാതൊന്നും നിങ്ങളെ ഉലച്ചുകളയാൻ ഇടയാകരുത്. കർത്താവിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ അധ്വാനം വ്യർഥമല്ല എന്നറിയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു കർത്താവിന്റെ വേലയിൽ എപ്പോഴും വ്യാപൃതരായിരിക്കുക.
