< Romans 2 >
1 There is therefore no excuse for thee, O man, that judgest thy neighbor; for by judging thy neighbor, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest, dost practise the same things.
O miriem, mi jêkpu tukhom ni roh inlêmna rang reng dôn riek mak che, midang ne jêkna dêna han nangma theiloi na chang kêng, nangma a jêkpu reng khomin ma anga sin hah no tho ngâi sikin.
2 And we know that the judgment of God is in accordance with truth, in regard to those who practise these things.
Ha anga tho ngâi mingei hah Pathien'n theiloi a min changin a jêk mindik thap ani ti ei riet.
3 And what thinkest thou, O man, that judgest those who practise these things, while practising them thyself, that thou wilt escape the judgment of God?
Aniatachu, O miriem ma anga sin tho ngâi ngei jêkpu, nang khomin ha anga sin hah no thôn chu roijêkna piel thei rangin nên tung mo?
4 Or wilt thou abuse the riches of his benevolence, and his long suffering, and the opportunity which he giveth thee? And dost thou not know, that the benevolence of God should bring thee to repentance?
Aninônchu nang mehei rang a nuom sikin Pathien'n a moroina lien, a tuong theina le a tuongdierna hi misit mo ni ni?
5 But, because of the hardness of thy unrepenting heart, thou art treasuring up a store of wrath against the day of wrath, and against the revelation of the righteous judgment of God:
Nangma tukdullien le mulungngar sikin Pathien taksina le roijêkna diktak juong inlang rang Nia rangin nu chunga dengtheina nu bûm ani.

8 but to them who are obstinate and obey not the truth, but obey iniquity, to them he will retribute wrath and ire.
Hannirese, a rang mang zonga chongdik hengpaia dikloina an jûi theina rangin, an chunga Pathien taksina le ningthikna musum atih.
9 And tribulation and anguish will be to every man that doeth evil; to the Jews first, and also to the Gentiles:
Adikloi sin ngei murdi chunga dengtheina le jâmzalna ngei om atih, Judangei chunga om bak a ta, Jentailngei chunga om nôk atih.
10 but glory and honor and peace to every one that doeth good; to the Jews first, and also to the Gentiles.

11 For there is no respect of persons with God:

12 for those without law, who sin, will also perish without law; and those under the law, who sin, will be judged by the law,

14 for if Gentiles who have not the law, shall, by their nature, do the things of the law; they, while without the law, become a law to themselves:

17 But if thou, who art called a Jew, and reposest thyself on the law, and gloriest in God,

19 and hast confidence in thyself, that thou art a guide to the blind, and a light to them who are in darkness,
Nangma ngêt hah mitcho ngei ruoipu ajînga om ngei êlpu.
20 and an instructor of those lacking knowledge, and a preceptor to the young; and thou hast the appearance of knowledge and of verity in the law:

21 Thou therefore, who teachest others, teachest thou not thyself? And thou who teachest that men must not steal, dost thou steal?

23 And thou who gloriest in the law, dost thou, by acting contrary to the law, insult God himself?

24 For, the name of God, as it is written, is reviled among the Gentiles on your account.

25 For circumcision profiteth, indeed, if thou fulfillest the law: but if thou departest from the law, thy circumcision becometh uncircumcision.
Balam hih jômin la chu ne sertana khom asêna om ok atih, Balam no jôm nônchu sertanloi angtakin ni ni rang.
26 And if uncircumcision should keep the precepts of the law, would not that uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?
Jentail mi hah sertanloi ania, Sertan loiin Balam chu a jôma, Pathien'n maha sertan anga a bê loi rang mini?
27 And the uncircumcision, which from its nature fulfilleth the law, will judge thee; who, with the scripture, and with circumcision, transgressest against the law.
Nangni'n sertana, Balam inziek nin neia, hannirese Balam chu nin minchâi nôka, Jentail taksa sertanloi ngeiin chu Balam chong chu an jôm ngit nôka, theiloi nangni an minchang rang ani.
28 For he is not a Jew, who is so in what is external: nor is that circumcision, which is visible in the flesh.
Apêntieng vaia Juda mi ki ni ti chu Juda mi taktak ni mak, taksa vaia sertan chu sertan taktak ni nôk sa mak.
29 But he is a Jew, who is so in what is hidden: and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter, whose praise is not from men, but from God.
