Romans 10
1 My Brethren, The desire of my heart, and my intercession with God for them, is, that they might have life.
Mga igsoon, ang tinguha sa akong kasingkasing ug ang akong pag-ampo ngadto sa Dios alang kanila mao nga mangaluwas unta sila.
2 For I bear them witness, that there is in them a zeal for God; but it is not according to knowledge.
Kay saksi ako nila nga sila adunay kasibut alang sa Dios, apan kini maoy kasibut nga wala duyogi sa kahibalo.
3 For they know not the righteousness of God, but seek to establish their own righteousness: and therefore they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.
Ug kay wala man silay hibangkaagan mahitungod sa pagkamatarung nga nagagikan sa Dios, ug nagapaningkamot sa paghimo sa ilang kaugalingong pagkamatarung, wala sila magpailalum sa pagkamatarung nga iya sa Dios.
4 For Messiah is the aim of the law, for righteousness, unto every one that believeth in him.
Kay si Cristo mao ang pagkatapus sa kasugoan aron mamatarung ang tanan nga may pagtoo.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness, which is by the law, thus: Whoever shall do these things, shall live by them.
Si Moises nagasulat mahitungod sa pagkamatarung nga pinasikad sa kasugoan, nga ang tawo nga magagawi sa maong pagkamatarung mabuhi tungod niini.
6 But the righteousness which is by faith, saith thus: Thou shalt not say in thy heart, Who ascendeth to heaven, and bringeth Messiah down?
Apan ang pagkamatarung nga pinaagi sa pagtoo nagaingon, Ayaw pag-ingon sa sulod sa imong kasingkasing, "Kinsa bay mosaka sa langit?" (nga sa ato pa, aron sa pagdala kang Cristo sa ubos),
7 Or, Who descendeth to the abyss of the grave, and bringeth up Messiah from the place of the dead? (Abyssos g12)
o, "Kinsa may mokanaug sa bung-aw?" (nga sa ato pa, aron sa pagdala kang Cristo sa taas gikan sa mga patay). (Abyssos g12)
8 But what saith it? The thing is near to thy mouth, and to thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we proclaim.
Apan unsa may ginaingon niini? Ang pulong haduol kanimo, anaa ra sa imong baba ug sa sulod sa imong kasingkasing (nga sa ato pa, ang pulong sa pagtoo nga among ginawali).
9 And if thou shalt confess with thy mouth our Lord Jesus, and shalt believe with thy heart, that God hath raised him from the dead; thou shalt live.
Kay kon pinaagi sa imong baba magasugid ikaw nga si Jesus mao ang Ginoo, ug magatoo sa sulod sa imong kasingkasing nga siya gibanhaw sa Dios gikan sa mga patay, nan, maluwas ikaw.
10 For the heart that believeth in him, is justified; and the mouth that confesseth him, is restored to life.
Kay ang tawo magatoo diha sa iyang kasingkasing aron mamatarung siya; ug siya magasugid pinaagi sa iyang baba aron maluwas siya.
11 For the scripture saith: Every one that believeth in him, shall not be ashamed.
Kay nagaingon ang kasulatan, "Ang tanan nga nagatoo kaniya dili maulawan."
12 And in this, it discriminateth neither Jews nor Gentiles. For there is one Lord over them all, who is rich, towards every one that calleth on him.
Kay walay kalainan sa Judio ug sa Gresyanhon; ang mao rang Ginoo, Ginoo sa tanan, ug siya nagahatag sa iyang mga bahandi ngadto sa tanan nga nagapangaliya kaniya.
13 For every one that shall call on the name of the Lord, will have life.
Kay "ang tanan nga mangaliya sa ngalan sa Ginoo maluwas."
14 How then shall they call on him, in whom they have not believed? Or, how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? Or, how shall they hear, without a preacher?
Apan unsaon man sa mga tawo sa pagpangaliya kaniya nga wala nila toohi? Ug unsaon man nila sa pagtoo kaniya nga wala gayud nila hidunggi? Ug unsaon man nila sa pagkadungog kon walay magwawali?
15 Or, how shall they preach, if they are not sent forth? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of the heralds of peace, and of the heralds of good things?
Ug unsaon man sa mga tawo sa pagpakawali gawas kon sila pinadala? Ingon sa nahisulat, "Katahum gayud sa mga tiil sa mga nagawali sa Maayong Balita!"
16 But all of them have not obeyed the proclamation of the gospel. (For, Isaiah said: My Lord, who hath believed our proclamation?)
Apan silang tanan wala lang manumbaling sa Maayong Balita, kay si Isaias nagaingon man, "Ginoo, kinsa bay nakatoo sa ilang nadungog gikan kanamo?"
17 Therefore, faith is from the hearing of the ear; and the hearing of the ear, is from the word of God.
Busa ang pagtoo magaabut gikan sa madungog, ug ang madungog magaabut pinaagi sa pagwali mahitungod kang Cristo.
18 But I say: Have they not heard? And, lo, their proclamation hath gone out into all the earth; and their words to the ends of the world.
Apan mangutana ako, wala ba sila makadungog? Oo, nakadungog na sila, kay Ang ilang tingog milanog ngadto sa tibuok yuta, ug ang ilang mga pulong ngadto sa mga kinatumyan sa kalibutan."
19 But I say: Did not Israel know? First, Moses said, thus: I will awaken your emulation, by a people which is not a people; and by a disobedient people, I will provoke you.
Mangutana ako pag-usab, wala ba mahibalo ang Israel? Una sa tanan si Moises nagaingon, Hagiton ko kamo sa pagpangabubho niadtong dili nasud; ug sa pagkasuko batok sa usa ka nasud nga hungog."
20 And Isaiah was bold, and said: I was seen by those who sought me not; and I was found by those who inquired not for me.
Ug si Isaias maisugon sa pag-ingon, Hingkaplagan ako sa mga tawo nga wala mangita kanako; gipadayag ko ang akong kaugalingon ngadto sa mga wala magpangayo kanako."
21 But to Israel, he said: All the day, have I stretched out my hands to a contentious and disobedient people.
Apan mahitungod kang Israel siya nagaingon, "Sa tibuok adlaw ginatuyhad ko ang akong mga kamot ngadto sa mga tawong masupilon ug masinupakon."
