< Mark 10 >

1 And he arose from there, and came to the border of Judaea, on the other side the Jordan. And great multitudes came to him there; and again he instructed them, as he was accustomed.
In vstavši odtod, pride v kraje Judejske, skozi pokrajino za Jordanom; in snide se zopet ljudstvo k njemu; in kakor je imel navado, zopet jih je učil.
2 And the Pharisees came to him, and, tempting him, inquired if it were lawful for a man to divorce his wife.
Pa pristopijo Farizeji in vprašajo ga, če je dovoljeno možu ženo popustíti, izkušajoč ga.
3 He said to them: What did Moses command you?
On pa odgovorí in jim reče: Kaj vam je zapovedal Mojzes?
4 They said: Moses permitted us to write a bill of divorce, and send her away.
5 Jesus answered and said to them: On account of the hardness of your heart, Moses wrote you this precept.
Pa odgovorí Jezus in jim reče: Za voljo trdosrčnosti vaše vam je napisal to postavo;
6 But, from the beginning, God made them a male and a female.
7 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and adhere to his wife:
"Za to bo zapustil človek očeta svojega in mater; in pridružil se bo ženi svojej.
8 and they two shall be one flesh. Wherefore they are not two, but one flesh.
In dva bosta eno telo." Tako nista več dva, nego eno telo.
9 What therefore God hath conjoined, let not man separate.
10 And in the house, the disciples asked him again of this matter.
In v hiši ga zopet učenci njegovi za to vprašajo.
11 And he said to them: Whoever shall divorce his wife, and take another, committeth adultery.
Pa jim reče: Kdor popustí ženo svojo in se oženi z drugo, prešestvuje proti njej;
12 And if a woman shall leave her husband, and marry another, she committeth adultery.
In če žena popustí moža svojega in se omoží z drugim, prešestvuje.
13 And they brought little children to him, that he might touch them. But his disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 And when Jesus saw it, he was displeased; and he said to them, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of those like them is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say to you, That whoever doth not receive the kingdom of God, like a little child, shall not enter it.
Resnično vam pravim: Kdor ne sprejme kraljestva Božjega kakor otrok, ne bo prišel va-nj.
16 And he took them in his arms, and laid his hand on them and blessed them.
In objemši jih, položí na nje roke in jih blagoslovi.
17 And as he walked in the way, one ran and fell upon his knees, and asked him, and said: Good Teacher, what must I do, to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
In ko izide na cesto, pribeží nekdo k njemu, in pokleknivši pred njim, vpraša ga: Dobri učenik, kaj naj storim, da zadobom večno življenje? (aiōnios g166)
18 Jesus saith to him: Why callest thou me good? There is none good, but one, God.
Jezus mu pa reče: Kaj me imenuješ dobrega? Nihče ni dober, razen eden, Bog.
19 Thou knowest the commandments; thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not give false testimony, thou shalt not defraud; honor thy father and thy mother.
20 And he answered, and said to him: Teacher, all these have I kept from my childhood.
On pa odgovorí in mu reče: Učenik, vse to sem izpolnil od mladosti svoje.
21 And Jesus looked on him, and loved him, and said to him: One thing thou lackest. Go, sell all that thou possessest, and give to the poor, and there will be a treasure for thee in heaven; and take thy cross, and come after me.
Jezus pa pogledavši nanj, poljubi ga in mu reče: Enega ti je še treba: pojdi, prodaj, karkoli imaš, in daj ubogim, in imel boš zaklad na nebu: ter pridi, vzemi križ, in pojdi za menoj.
22 And he was made sad by that speech, and went away sorrowing: for he possessed great riches.
23 And Jesus looked upon his disciples, and said to them: How hard for those who possess wealth, to enter into the kingdom of God!
In Jezus pogleda okoli, in reče učencem svojim: Kako težko bodo prišli tisti, kteri imajo bogastvo, v kraljestvo Božje?
24 And the disciples wondered at the remark. And Jesus, replied again, and said to them: My children, how hard it is, for those who trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 It is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
Laže je priti kameli skozi igelno ušesce, nego bogatemu vniti v kraljestvo Božje.
26 And they wondered the more, and said among themselves: Who can obtain life!
27 And Jesus looked on them again, and said to them: With men, this is not possible, but with God it is; for with God all things are possible.
28 And Cephas began to say: Lo, we have left every thing, and have cleaved to thee.
In začne mu Peter praviti: Glej, mi smo zapustili vse in smo šli za teboj.
29 Jesus answered and said: Verily I say to you, There is no man that leaveth houses, or brothers or sisters, or father or mother, or wife or children, for my sake, and for the sake of my tidings,
30 who will not receive a hundredfold, here in the present time, houses, and brothers and sisters, and mothers and children, and lands, with persecution; and in the world to come eternal life.
31 But many are first, who will be last; and last, who will be first.
Mnogi pa, kteri so prvi, bodo zadnji, in kteri so zadnji, prvi.
32 And as they were in the way, going up to Jerusalem, Jesus went before them: and they were amazed, and walked after him with trembling. And he took his twelve, and began to tell them what was to befall him.
33 Behold, we are going to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and the Scribes; and they will condemn him to die, and will deliver him over to the Gentiles.
Glej, v Jeruzalem gremo, in sin človečji bo izdan vélikim duhovnom in pismarjem, in obsodili ga bodo na smrt, in izročili nevernikom,
34 And they will mock him, and will scourge him, and will spit in his face, and will kill him; and on the third day he will arise.
In zasramovali ga bodo, in bičali ga, in pljuvali na-nj, in umorili ga bodo; a tretji dan bo vstal od smrti.
35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him, and said to him: Teacher, we desire that thou wouldst do for us all that we ask.
Pa pristopita k njemu Jakob in Janez, sina Zebedejeva, govoreč: Učenik! hočeva, da nama stóri, kar bova prosila.
36 He saith to them: What would ye, that I should do for you?
On jima pa reče: Kaj hočeta, da naj vama storím?
37 They say to him: Grant to us, that one may sit on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy glory.
38 But he said to them: Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup, of which I drink? and to be baptized with the baptism, that I am baptized with?
Jezus jima pa reče: Ne vésta, kaj prosita. Moreta li piti kelih, kterega jaz pijem, in krstiti se s krstom, s kterim se jaz krstim?
39 They say to him: We are able. Jesus saith to them: The cup that I drink, ye will drink, and the baptism that I am baptized with, ye will be baptized with:
Ona mu pa rečeta: Moreva. In Jezus jima reče: Kelih, kterega jaz pijem, bosta pila; in s krstom, s kterim se jaz krstim, bosta se krstila.
40 But that ye should sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine o give, except to those for whom it is prepared.
41 And when the ten heard it, they began to murmur against James and John.
In slišavši to deseteri, začnó se jeziti nad Jakobom in Janezom.
42 And Jesus called them, and said to them: Ye know, that they who are accounted chiefs of the nations, are their lords; and their great men have authority over them.
Jezus jih pa pokliče, in reče jim: Véste, da tisti, kteri menijo vladati nad narodi, nad njimi gospodujejo; a poglavarji njih imajo oblast nad njimi.
43 But it shall not be so among you: but he that would be great among you, must be a servitor to you.
Ne bo pa tako med vami: nego kdorkoli hoče velik postati med vami, naj vam bo služabnik;
44 And he of you that would be first, must be servant to every one.
In kdorkoli od vas hoče postati prvi, bodi vsem hlapec.
45 And also the Son of man came, not to be served, but to serve; and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 And they came to Jericho. And as Jesus went out of Jericho, he and his disciples and a great multitude; Timeus, the son of Timeus, a blind man, was sitting by the side of the way, and begging.
In pridejo v Jeriho. In ko so šli iz Jerihe, on in učenci njegovi, in obilno ljudstva, sedel je sin Timejev slepi Bartimej kraj poti in je prosil.
47 And he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarean; and he began to cry out, and to say: Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many rebuked him, that he might be silent. But he cried out the more, and said: Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
In mnogi so mu pretili, naj umolkne; on je pa še veliko bolj kričal: Sin Davidov, usmili se me!
49 And Jesus stood, and directed him to be called. And they called the blind man, and said to him: Take courage: arise, he calleth thee.
50 And the blind man cast off his garment and arose, and went to Jesus.
On pa, zagnavši s sebe plašč svoj, vstane, in pride k Jezusu.
51 Jesus said to him: What wilt thou, that I do for thee? And the blind man said to him: Rabbi, that I may have sight.
In Jezus odgovorí in mu reče: Kaj hočeš, naj ti storím? Slepec mu pa reče: Rabi, da spregledam!
52 And Jesus said to him: Go; thy faith hath procured thee life. And immediately his sight was restored; and he followed after him.
