Luke 9
1 And Jesus called his twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons and diseases, to heal them.
Իր տասներկու աշակերտները հաւաքելով՝ զօրութիւն ու իշխանութիւն տուաւ անոնց բոլոր դեւերուն վրայ, եւ ախտերը բժշկելու:
2 And he sent them forth, to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Ու ղրկեց զանոնք՝ որ քարոզեն Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը եւ բժշկեն հիւանդները:
3 And he said to them: Take nothing for the journey, neither a staff, nor a wallet, nor bread, nor money; neither have two tunics.
Ըսաւ անոնց. «Ճամբորդութեան համար ոչի՛նչ առէք, ո՛չ գաւազան եւ ո՛չ պարկ, ո՛չ հաց եւ ո՛չ դրամ. ո՛չ ալ կրկին բաճկոն ունեցէք՝՝:
4 And into whatever house ye enter, there stay, and thence depart.
Որո՛ւ տուն որ մտնէք՝ հո՛ն մնացէք, ապա անկէ մեկնեցէք:
5 And against them that receive you not, when ye go out of that city, shake off even the dust of your feet against them, for a testimony.
Իսկ անոնք որ չեն ընդունիր ձեզ, երբ դուրս ելլէք այդ քաղաքէն՝ թօթուեցէ՛ք ձեր ոտքերուն փոշին անգամ, իբր վկայութիւն անոնց դէմ»:
6 And the Legates went forth, and travelled about the villages and cities, and preached and healed everywhere.
Անոնք ալ մեկնեցան եւ գիւղէ գիւղ կը շրջէին, ամէնուրեք աւետարանելով ու բուժելով:
7 And Herod the Tetrarch heard of all the things done by him, and he was disturbed; because some said, that John had arisen from the dead.
Հերովդէս չորրորդապետը՝ անոր բոլոր կատարածներուն մասին լսելով՝ տարակոյսի մէջ էր, որովհետեւ ոմանք ըսած էին.
8 But others said, that Elijah hath appeared; and others, that a prophet from among the ancient prophets hath arisen.
«Յովհաննէս մեռելներէն յարութիւն առաւ», եւ ոմանք. «Եղիա յայտնուեցաւ», իսկ ուրիշներ ալ. «Նախկին մարգարէներէն մէկը յարութիւն առաւ»:
9 And Herod said: The head of John, I have cut off; but who is this, of whom I hear these things? And he was desirous to see him.
Հերովդէս ըսաւ. «Յովհաննէսը ե՛ս գլխատեցի, իսկ ո՞վ պիտի ըլլայ ասիկա՝ որուն մասին այսպիսի բաներ կը լսեմ»: Ու կը ջանար տեսնել զայն:
10 And when the Legates returned, they narrated, to Jesus all they had done. And he took them aside, to the desert part of Bethsaida.
Առաքեալները վերադարձան, ու պատմեցին անոր՝ ինչ որ ըրին. եւ առնելով զանոնք՝ մէկդի քաշուեցաւ ամայի տեղ մը, քաղաքի մը քով՝ որուն անունը Բեթսայիդա էր:
11 And when the multitude knew it, they followed him: and he received them, and conversed with them respecting the kingdom of God: and such as had need of healing, he healed.
Երբ բազմութիւնները գիտցան՝ անոր հետեւեցան: Ինք ալ զանոնք ընդունելով՝ կը խօսէր անոնց Աստուծոյ թագաւորութեան մասին, եւ կը բժշկէր անո՛նք՝ որ բուժումի պէտք ունէին:
12 And when the day began to decline, his disciples came near, and said to him: Send away the multitude, that they may go to the villages around us and to the towns, to lodge in them, and to procure themselves food, for we are in a desert place.
Երբ օրը սկսաւ մթննալ՝ տասներկուքը մօտեցան եւ ըսին անոր. «Արձակէ՛ բազմութիւնը, որպէսզի երթան շրջակայ գիւղերն ու արտերը, իջեւանին եւ ուտելիք գտնեն, որովհետեւ հոս ամայի տեղ մըն ենք»:
13 Jesus said to then: Give ye them to eat. And they say: We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless we go and buy food for all this people:
Ըսաւ անոնց. «Դո՛ւք անոնց կերակուր տուէք»: Անոնք ալ ըսին. «Մենք հինգ նկանակէն ու երկու ձուկէն աւելի բան չունինք, եթէ չերթանք այդ ամբողջ ժողովուրդին համար կերակուր չգնենք»:
14 for they were about five thousand men. Jesus said to them: Make them recline by companies, fifty persons in a company.
(Արդարեւ հինգ հազարի չափ այր մարդիկ կային: ) Ըսաւ իր աշակերտներուն. «Նստեցուցէ՛ք ատոնք՝ յիսունական շարքերով»:
15 And the disciples did so, and made them all recline.
Այդպէս ըրին, ու բոլորն ալ նստեցուցին:
16 And Jesus took the five loaves and two fishes, and looked towards heaven, and blessed, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before the multitudes.
Ինք ալ առաւ այդ հինգ նկանակներն ու երկու ձուկերը, դէպի երկինք նայելով՝ օրհնեց զանոնք, կտրեց ու տուաւ աշակերտներուն, որպէսզի հրամցնեն բազմութեան:
17 And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up the fragments of remains, twelve baskets.
Կերան, բոլորն ալ կշտացան, եւ վերցնելով աւելցած բեկորները՝ տասներկու կողով լեցուցին:
18 And as he was praying in private with his disciples, he asked them, and said: Who, do the multitudes say of me, that I am?
Երբ ինք առանձին կ՚աղօթէր, աշակերտները իրեն հետ էին, եւ հարցուց անոնց. «Բազմութիւնները ինծի համար ի՞նչ կ՚ըսեն, ո՞վ եմ»:
19 They answer and say to him: John the Baptizer; others, Elijah and others, a prophet, one of the ancient prophets arisen.
Անոնք ալ պատասխանեցին. «Ոմանք՝ Յովհաննէս Մկրտիչը, ուրիշներ՝ Եղիան, ուրիշներ ալ՝ նախկին մարգարէներէն մէկը, որ յարութիւն առած է»:
20 He said to them: But who, do ye say, that I am? Simon answered, and said: The Messiah of God.
Ինք ըսաւ անոնց. «Իսկ դո՛ւք ի՞նչ կ՚ըսէք, ո՞վ եմ»: Պետրոս պատասխանեց. «Աստուծոյ Քրիստո՛սը»:
21 And he chided them, and charged them, that they should say this to no one.
Յիսուս ազդարարեց անոնց, ու պատուիրեց որ ո՛չ մէկուն ըսեն այս բանը:
22 And he said to them: The Son of man is to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the Elders and the chief priests and Scribes; and they will kill him; and on the third day, he will arise.
Եւ ըսաւ. «Պէտք է որ մարդու Որդին շատ չարչարանքներ կրէ, մերժուի երէցներէն, քահանայապետներէն եւ դպիրներէն, սպաննուի ու յարութիւն առնէ երրորդ օրը»:
23 And he said before all the people: He that would follow me, must deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and so come after me.
Եւ կ՚ըսէր բոլորին. «Եթէ մէկը ուզէ գալ իմ ետեւէս՝ թող ուրանայ ինքզինք, ամէն օր վերցնէ իր խաչը ու հետեւի ինծի.
24 For he that will preserve his life, shall lose it; but he that shall lose his life, for my sake, will preserve it.
որովհետեւ ո՛վ որ ուզէ փրկել իր անձը՝ պիտի կորսնցնէ զայն, իսկ ո՛վ որ կորսնցնէ իր անձը՝ ինծի համար, պիտի փրկէ զայն:
25 For, what will a man be profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose his life or be deprived of it?
Քանի որ մարդ ի՞նչ օգուտ կ՚ունենայ, եթէ շահի ամբողջ աշխարհը բայց կորսնցնէ ինքզինք, կամ տուժէ:
26 And whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father, with his holy angels.
Որովհետեւ ո՛վ որ ամօթ սեպէ զիս եւ իմ խօսքերս դաւանիլը, մարդու Որդին ալ ամօթ պիտի սեպէ զայն դաւանիլը՝ երբ գայ իր ու Հօր եւ սուրբ հրեշտակներուն փառքով:
27 I tell you the truth, that there are some standing here, who will not taste death, until they shall see the kingdom of God.
Բայց ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Հոս կայնողներէն կան ոմանք՝ որ մահ պիտի չհամտեսեն, մինչեւ որ տեսնեն Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը”»:
28 And it was about eight days after these discourses, that Jesus took Simon and James and John, and went up a mountain to pray.
Այս խօսքերէն գրեթէ ութ օր ետք՝ առնելով Պետրոսը, Յովհաննէսն ու Յակոբոսը՝ լեռը ելաւ աղօթելու:
29 And while he prayed, the aspect of his countenance was changed, and his garments became white and brilliant.
Մինչ կ՚աղօթէր, իր երեսին տեսքը փոխուեցաւ, եւ իր պատմուճանը ճերմակ ու փայլուն եղաւ:
30 And lo, two men were talking with him: and they were Moses and Elijah,
Եւ ահա՛ երկու մարդիկ կը խօսակցէին իրեն հետ. անոնք֊ Մովսէսն ու Եղիան,
31 who appeared in glory. And they were conversing on his departure, which was to be consummated at Jerusalem.
փառքով երեւցած, եւ կը խօսէին անոր այս կեանքէն մեկնումին մասին, որ պիտի իրագործուէր Երուսաղէմի մէջ:
32 And Simon and those with him were oppressed with drowsiness; and being scarcely awake, they saw his glory, and those two men who stood near him.
Պետրոս ու անոր հետ եղողները քունով ծանրացած էին. երբ արթնցան, տեսան անոր փառքը եւ այդ երկու մարդիկը՝ որ անոր քով կեցած էին:
33 And when they began t to retire from him, Simon said to Jesus: Rabbi, it is delightful for us to be here. And let us make here three booths, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. But he knew not what he said.
Երբ անոնք զատուեցան անոր քովէն, Պետրոս ըսաւ Յիսուսի. «Վարդապե՛տ, լաւ է որ կենանք հոս եւ շինենք երեք վրան, մէկը՝ քեզի, մէկը՝ Մովսէսի ու մէկը՝ Եղիայի». որովհետեւ չէր գիտեր թէ ի՛նչ կը խօսէր:
34 And as he thus spoke, there was a cloud; and it overshadowed them; and they were afraid, when they saw Moses and Elijah go up into the cloud.
Մինչ այսպէս կը խօսէր, ամպ մը եկաւ եւ հովանի եղաւ անոնց վրայ. ու երբ անոնք ամպին տակ մտան՝ վախցան:
35 And there was a voice from the cloud, which said: This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.
Ձայն մը եկաւ ամպէն՝ ըսելով. «Ա՛յս է իմ սիրելի Որդիս, անո՛ր մտիկ ըրէք»:
36 And when the voice had passed, Jesus was found to be alone. And they kept silence, and told no one in those days what they had seen.
Երբ լսեցին այդ ձայնը՝ Յիսուս մինակ մնաց: Իրենք ալ լուռ կեցան, եւ այդ օրերը ո՛չ մէկուն բան մը պատմեցին իրենց տեսածներէն:
37 And the next day, as they came down from the mountain, a great multitude met them.
Հետեւեալ օրը, երբ անոնք լեռնէն վար իջան, մեծ բազմութիւն մը դիմաւորեց զայն:
38 And a man from the throng cried out, and said: Teacher, I beseech thee, turn thyself to me. Here is my only son:
Բազմութենէն մարդ մը գոչեց. «Վարդապե՛տ, կ՚աղերսե՜մ քեզի, նայէ՛ որդիիս, քանի որ իմ մէկ հատիկս է:
39 and a spirit cometh upon him, and he suddenly crieth out, and gnasheth his teeth, and foameth; and he hardly leaveth him, when he hath crushed him.
Ահա՛ ոգի մը կը բռնէ զինք, ինք ալ յանկարծ կ՚աղաղակէ. ոգին զինք ցնցելով կը փրփրցնէ, ու հազիւ կը հեռանայ իրմէ՝ ջախջախելով զինք:
40 And I requested thy disciples to expel him; and they could not.
Աղերսեցի քու աշակերտներուդ՝ որ դուրս հանեն զայն, բայց չկրցան»:
41 And Jesus answered, and said: O the unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I be with you, and bear with you? Bring hither thy son.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց. «Ո՛վ անհաւատ ու խոտորեալ սերունդ, մինչեւ ե՞րբ ձեզի հետ պիտի ըլլամ եւ ձեզի հանդուրժեմ: Հո՛ս բեր որդիդ»:
42 And while he was bringing him, the demon threw him down, and convulsed him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the lad, and delivered him to his father.
Երբ կը մօտենար, դեւը գետին զարկաւ զայն ու սաստիկ ցնցեց:
43 And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. And while every one admired at all that Jesus did, he said to his disciples:
Իսկ Յիսուս սաստեց անմաքուր ոգին, բժշկեց պատանին եւ տուաւ զայն իր հօր:
44 Lay up these words in your minds: for the Son of man is to be delivered into the hands of men.
Բոլորը կ՚ապշէին Աստուծոյ մեծամեծ գործերուն վրայ: Մինչ բոլորն ալ կը սքանչանային Յիսուսի բոլոր ըրածներուն վրայ, ան ըսաւ իր աշակերտներուն. «Դուք այս խօսքերը ձեր մի՛տքը պահեցէք՝՝, որովհետեւ մարդու Որդին պիտի մատնուի մարդոց ձեռքը»:
45 But they understood not that speech; because it was hidden from them, that they should not know it: and they feared to ask him concerning that speech.
Բայց անոնք չէին հասկնար այս խօսքը, եւ անոնցմէ ծածկուած էր՝ որպէսզի չըմբռնեն. ու կը վախնային հարցնել իրեն այդ խօսքին մասին:
46 And the thought arose among them, which of them was to be the greatest.
Մտածում մըն ալ ծագեցաւ անոնց մէջ, թէ արդեօք ո՛վ է մեծագոյնը իրենց մէջ:
47 And Jesus knew the thought of their heart: and he took a child, and placed him near to him;
Յիսուս ըմբռնելով անոնց սիրտին մտածումը՝ առաւ մանուկ մը, կայնեցուց զայն իր քով,
48 and said to them: Whoever receiveth a child like this, in my name, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me. For he that shall be least among you all, he will be the great one.
ու ըսաւ անոնց. «Ո՛վ որ կ՚ընդունի այս մանուկը իմ անունովս՝ զի՛ս կ՚ընդունի, եւ ո՛վ որ զիս կ՚ընդունի՝ զիս ղրկո՛ղը կ՚ընդունի. որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ ամենէն պզտիկն է ձեր բոլորին մէջ, անիկա՛ պիտի ըլլայ մեծը»:
49 And John answered, and said: Our Rabbi, we saw a man casting out demons in thy name; and we forbad him, because he doth not, with us, follow thee.
Յովհաննէս ըսաւ. «Վարդապե՛տ, մէկը տեսանք որ դեւեր կը հանէր քու անունովդ, եւ արգիլեցինք զայն՝ քանի որ մեզի չի հետեւիր»:
50 Jesus said to them: Forbid not: for, whoever is not against you, is for you.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Մի՛ արգիլէք, որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ մեզի հակառակ չէ, մեր՝՝ կողմէն է»:
51 And when the days for his ascension were completed, so it was, that he set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
Երբ իր աշխարհէն վերանալու ժամանակը հասաւ՝՝, հաստատապէս որոշեց՝՝ Երուսաղէմ երթալ:
52 And he sent messengers before his face; and they went, and entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare lodgings for him.
Եւ իր առջեւէն ղրկեց պատգամաւորներ, որոնք երբ գացին՝ մտան Սամարացիներուն մէկ գիւղը, որպէսզի պատրաստութիւն տեսնեն իրեն համար:
53 And they received him not, because he had set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
Բայց չընդունեցին զայն, որովհետեւ անոր երեսը դէպի Երուսաղէմ ուղղուած էր:
54 And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said to him: Our Lord, wilt thou that we speak, and fire come down from heaven, and consume them, as also did Elijah?
Երբ իր աշակերտները՝ Յակոբոս ու Յովհաննէս՝ տեսան ասիկա, ըսին անոր. «Տէ՛ր, կ՚ուզե՞ս որ ըսենք, որպէսզի երկինքէն կրակ իջնէ եւ սպառէ զանոնք, ինչպէս Եղիա ալ ըրաւ»:
55 And he turned and rebuked them, and said: Ye know not of what spirit ye are.
Դարձաւ ու յանդիմանեց զանոնք՝ ըսելով. «Չէք գիտեր թէ ի՛նչ հոգիի տէր էք.
56 For the Son of man hath not come to destroy souls; but to quicken them. And they went to another village.
որովհետեւ մարդու Որդին եկաւ ո՛չ թէ մարդոց անձերը կորսնցնելու, հապա՝ փրկելու՝՝»: Եւ ուրիշ գիւղ մը գացին:
57 And as they went by the way, one said to him: I will follow thee to whatever place thou goest, my Lord.
Երբ անոնք ճամբան կ՚երթային, մէկը ըսաւ անոր. «Տէ՛ր, պիտի հետեւիմ քեզի՝ ո՛ւր որ երթաս»:
58 Jesus said to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of heaven have coverts; but the Son of man hath not where he may lay his head.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Աղուէսները որջեր ունին, ու երկինքի թռչունները՝ բոյներ, բայց մարդու Որդին տե՛ղ մը չունի՝ ուր հանգչեցնէ իր գլուխը»:
59 And he said to another: Come thou after me. And he said to him: My Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.
Ուրիշի մըն ալ ըսաւ. «Հետեւէ՛ ինծի»: Իսկ ան ըսաւ. «Տէ՛ր, արտօնէ՛ ինծի, որ նախ երթամ՝ թաղեմ հայրս»:
60 And Jesus said to him: Allow the dead to bury their dead; and go thou and proclaim the kingdom of God.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Թո՛ղ մեռելներուն՝ թաղել իրենց մեռելները, իսկ դուն գնա՛ ու քարոզէ՛ Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը»:
61 Another said to him: I will follow thee, my Lord; but allow me first to bid adieu to my household, and I will come.
Ուրիշ մըն ալ ըսաւ. «Տէ՛ր, պիտի հետեւիմ քեզի. բայց արտօնէ՛ որ նախ հրաժեշտ առնեմ տանս մէջ եղողներէն»:
62 Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the ox-plough, and looking backward, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Ո՛չ մէկը՝ որ կը դնէ ձեռքը մաճին վրայ ու ետեւ կը նայի՝ յարմար է Աստուծոյ թագաւորութեան»:
