John 10
1 Verily, verily, I say to you, That he who doth not enter by the door into the fold of the flock, but climbeth up in some other place, he is a thief and a robber.
ⲁ̅ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛ̅ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲟ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲟϩⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲧⲃ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲕⲉⲥⲁ. ⲡⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲡⲉ.
2 But he that entereth by the door, is the shepherd of the flock.
ⲃ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲟ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲱⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
3 And to him the door-keeper openeth the door; and the sheep hear his voice. And he calleth the sheep by their names, and leadeth them out.
ⲅ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲉⲙⲛⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲙⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲛϥ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
4 And when he hath led out his flock, he goeth before it; and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
ⲇ̅ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲉ͡ⲓⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ. ϣⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲁⲧⲉⲩϩⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲥⲙⲏ.
5 But after a stranger the flock will not follow, but it fleeth from him; because it knoweth not the voice of a stranger.
ⲉ̅ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲟⲩϣⲙ̅ⲙⲟ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲡⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϣⲙ̅ⲙⲟ.
6 This allegory spake Jesus to them; but they knew not what he said to them.
ⲋ̅ⲧⲉⲉ͡ⲓⲡⲁⲣϩⲟⲓⲙⲓⲁ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲉ͡ⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧϥ̅ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩ.
7 And Jesus said to them again: Verily, verily, I say to you, That I am the door of the flock.
ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϭⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲱⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
8 All those who have come, were thieves and robbers: but the flock did not hear them.
ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ϩⲉⲛⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲥⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲛⲉ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ.
9 I am the door: and if any enter by me, he will live, and will come in and go out, and will find pasture.
ⲑ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲣⲟ. ⲉⲣϣⲁⲟⲩⲁ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧ. ϥⲛⲁⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕʾ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϥ̅ⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϥ̅ϩⲉ ⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ.
10 The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I have come, that they may have life, and may have that which is excellent.
ⲓ̅ⲡⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲙⲉϥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ. ⲉ͡ⲓⲙⲏⲧⲓ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉϩⲱϥⲧ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥ̅ϣⲱⲱⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥ̅ⲧⲁⲕⲟ. ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲓ̈ⲉ͡ⲓ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉϫⲓ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲛⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉϫⲓⲟⲩϩⲟ(ⲩⲟ).
11 I am a good shepherd. A good shepherd exposeth his life for the sheep.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲱⲥ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ. ⲡϣⲱⲥ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ϣⲁϥⲕⲁⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲁⲛⲉϥⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
12 But a hireling, who is not the shepherd, and to whom the sheep do not belong, when he seeth the wolf coming, leaveth the flock, and fleeth; and the wolf cometh, and teareth, and disperseth the flock.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲡϫⲁⲓ̈ⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛ̅ⲟⲩϣⲱⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲉⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϣ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁϥⲕⲁⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϥ̅ⲡⲱⲧ. ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϣ ⲧⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⲛϥ̅ϫⲟⲟⲣⲟⲩ
13 And a hireling fleeth, because he is a hireling, and hath no concern for the flock.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ̈ⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲣⲟⲟⲩϣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
14 I am a good shepherd; and I know my own sheep, and am known by my own.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲱⲥ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲉ͡ⲓ.
15 As my Father knoweth me, so know I my Father; and I expose my life for the flock.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲱⲧ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲉ͡ⲓ. ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲱⲧ. ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
16 And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold: and them also I must bring; and they will hear my voice; and the whole will be one flock, and one shepherd.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲕⲉⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲟϩⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲡⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲣⲁⲥⲟⲟⲩϩⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲙⲏ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲧ. ⲟⲩϣⲱⲥ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲧ.
17 For this cause my Father loveth me, that I lay down my life, to resume it again.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ ⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲓ̈ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲓ̈ⲉϫⲓⲧⲥ̅.
18 There is no one that taketh it from me; but I lay it down of my own pleasure: for I have authority to lay it down, and authority to resume it again; because I have received this command from my Father.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲙⲛ̅ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϥⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲕⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁⲧ. ⲟⲩⲛϯⲧⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛϯⲧⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϫⲓⲧⲥ̅. ⲧⲉⲓ̈ⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲓ̈ϫⲓⲧⲥ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ.
19 And again there was a division among the Jews, on account of these sayings.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲥⲭⲓⲥⲙⲁ ⲟⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲛⲉⲓ̈ϣⲁϫⲉ.
20 And many of them said: He hath a demon, and is wholly beside himself; why hear ye him?
ⲕ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲇⲉ ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲗⲟⲃⲉ. ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
21 But others said: These are not the discourses of a demoniac: can a demon open the eyes of one blind?
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ϩⲉⲛⲕⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲓ̈ϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ ⲉϥⲟ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ. ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̅ⲃ̅ⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̅ⲃ̅ⲃⲗ̅ⲗⲉ·
22 And the feast of the dedication was held at Jerusalem, and it was winter.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲩⲟⲓ̈ϣ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲡϫⲓⲁⲉⲓⲕ ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲡⲣⲱ ⲧⲉ.
23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in the porch of Solomon.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲣⲡⲉ ϩⲁⲧⲉⲥⲧⲟⲁ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲗⲟⲙⲱⲛ.
24 And the Jews gathered around him; and said to him: how long holdest thou our mind in suspense? If thou art the Messiah, tell us plainly.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲕⲱⲧⲉ ϭⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ. ϫⲉ ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ⲕϥⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ. ⲉϣϫⲉⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϫⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁ.
25 Jesus answered, and said to them: I have told you, and ye did not believe. The works which I do in the name of my Father, they testify of me
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ϫⲉ ⲁⲉ͡ⲓϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ. ⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉϯⲉ͡ⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛⲉⲧⲣ̅ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧ.
26 But ye do not believe, because ye are not of my sheep, as I have said to you.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ.
27 My sheep hear my voice: and I know them: and they go after me.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲛⲁⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϣⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲙⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲉ͡ⲓ
29 For my Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; nor can any pluck from my Father's hand.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ϥϩⲓϫⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛϣϭⲟⲙ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲧ̅ϭⲓϫ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ.
30 I and my Father are one.
ⲗ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲉ͡ⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲛⲟⲛⲟⲩⲁ.
31 And again the Jews took up stones, to stone him.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲩϥⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
32 Jesus said to them: Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ̈ⲧⲥⲁⲃⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲉϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲁϣ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϩⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈.
33 The Jews said to him: It is not on account of good works, that we stone thee: but because thou blasphemest; and, whilst thou art a man, thou makest thyself God.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈. ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲁϩⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲃⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲧⲃⲉϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲕ ⲉⲛⲧⲕ̅ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲕ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
34 Jesus said to them: Is it not written in your law, I have said, Ye are gods?
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲛϥ̅ⲥⲏϩ ⲁⲛ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓ̈ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
35 If he called them gods, because the word of God was with them, and the scripture cannot be nullified;
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲉϣϫⲉⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲛ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
36 do ye say to him, whom the Father, hath sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said to you, I am the Son of God?
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲉⲓ̈ⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡⲓⲱⲧ ⲧⲃ̅ⲃⲟϥ ⲁϥⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲟⲩϥ ⲉⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ̈ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲅ̅ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
37 And if I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲉϣϫⲉⲛ̅ϯⲉ͡ⲓⲣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ⲱⲧ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲉ͡ⲓ.
38 But if I do them, although ye believe not me, yet believe the works; that ye may know and believe, that my Father is in me, and I in my Father.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲉϣϫⲉϯⲉ͡ⲓⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ. ⲕⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲉ͡ⲓ. ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲉ͡ⲓⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲱⲧ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯϩⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲱⲧ.
39 And again they sought to lay hold of him; but he escaped out of their hands;
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉⲩϣⲓⲛⲉ ϭⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁϭⲟⲡϥ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϭⲓϫ
40 and retired to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John at first baptized, and tarried there.
ⲙ̅ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲣⲟ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲛⲉⲣⲉⲓ̈ⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉϥⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲍⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϭⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ
41 And many persons came to him: and they said, John indeed wrought not even one sign; but every thing that John said of his man, was true.
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲓ̈ⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡϥ̅ⲣ̅ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ̈ⲛ. ϣⲁϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓ̈ⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ.
42 And many believed on him.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ·
