Acts 5
1 And a certain man whose name was Ananias, with his wife whose name was Sapphira, sold his field,
ਤਦਾ ਅਨਾਨਿਯਨਾਮਕ ਏਕੋ ਜਨੋ ਯਸ੍ਯ ਭਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਯਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਫੀਰਾ ਸ ਸ੍ਵਾਧਿਕਾਰੰ ਵਿਕ੍ਰੀਯ
2 and carried away part of the price and concealed it, his wife consenting; and he brought a part of the money, and laid it before the feet of the legates.
ਸ੍ਵਭਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਂ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਨ੍ਮੂਲ੍ਯਸ੍ਯੈਕਾਂਸ਼ੰ ਸਙ੍ਗੋਪ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਦਨ੍ਯਾਂਸ਼ਮਾਤ੍ਰਮਾਨੀਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਚਰਣੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
3 And Simon said to him: Ananias, why hath Satan so filled thy heart, that thou shouldst lie against the Holy Spirit, and conceal of the money of the price of the field?
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਪਿਤਰੋਕਥਯਤ੍ ਹੇ ਅਨਾਨਿਯ ਭੂਮੇ ਰ੍ਮੂਲ੍ਯੰ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਸਙ੍ਗੋਪ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਿਤੁੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨਃ ਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਕਥਯਿਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ੍ ਕੁਤਸ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍ਤਃਕਰਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਿਮਜਨਯਤ੍?
4 Was it not thine own before it was sold? And when sold, again thou hadst authority over the price of it. Why hast thou set thy heart to do this purpose? Thou hast not lied against men, but against God.
ਸਾ ਭੂਮਿ ਰ੍ਯਦਾ ਤਵ ਹਸ੍ਤਗਤਾ ਤਦਾ ਕਿੰ ਤਵ ਸ੍ਵੀਯਾ ਨਾਸੀਤ੍? ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਸ੍ਵਾਨ੍ਤਃਕਰਣੇ ਕੁਤ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੀ ਕੁਕਲ੍ਪਨਾ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਾ? ਤ੍ਵੰ ਕੇਵਲਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਕਟੇ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਨਾਵਾਦੀਃ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਕਟੇ(ਅ)ਪਿ|
5 And when Ananias heard these words, he fell down, and died. And great fear was upon all them that heard of it.
ਏਤਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵੈਵ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਨਾਨਿਯੋ ਭੂਮੌ ਪਤਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਨ੍ ਅਤ੍ਯਜਤ੍, ਤਦ੍ਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾਨ੍ਤੰ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਅਸ਼੍ਰੁʼਣ੍ਵਨ੍ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਹਾਭਯਮ੍ ਅਜਾਯਤ੍|
6 And the young men among them arose, and gathered him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
ਤਦਾ ਯੁਵਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੇਣਾੱਛਾਦ੍ਯ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਨੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨੇ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਨ੍|
7 And when three hours had passed, his wife also came in, without knowing what had occurred.
ਤਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਹਰੈਕਾਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਕਿੰ ਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤੰ ਤੰਨਾਵਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਭਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਪਿ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸਮੁਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਾ|
8 Simon said to her: Tell me, if ye sold the field for this price? And she said: Yes, for this price.
ਤਤਃ ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਤਾਮ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰੁʼੱਛਤ੍, ਯੁਵਾਭ੍ਯਾਮ੍ ਏਤਾਵਨ੍ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਭ੍ਯੋ ਭੂਮਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਕ੍ਰੀਤਾ ਨ ਵਾ? ਏਤਤ੍ਵੰ ਵਦ; ਤਦਾ ਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਵਾਦੀਤ੍ ਸਤ੍ਯਮ੍ ਏਤਾਵਦ੍ਭ੍ਯੋ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਭ੍ਯ ਏਵ|
9 Simon said to her: Since ye have been equals in tempting the Spirit of the Lord, lo, the feet of the buriers of thy husband are at the door, and they will carry thee out.
ਤਤਃ ਪਿਤਰੋਕਥਯਤ੍ ਯੁਵਾਂ ਕਥੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਾਨੰ ਪਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤੁਮ੍ ਏਕਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਣਾਵਭਵਤਾਂ? ਪਸ਼੍ਯ ਯੇ ਤਵ ਪਤਿੰ ਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਸਮੁਪਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤਿ ਤ੍ਵਾਮਪਿ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਨੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
10 And immediately she fell before their feet, and died. And those young men came in, and found her dead; and they took up, carried forth, and buried her by the side of her husband.
ਤਤਃ ਸਾਪਿ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਚਰਣਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਨ੍ ਅਤ੍ਯਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਤ੍| ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤੇ ਯੁਵਾਨੋ(ਅ)ਭ੍ਯਨ੍ਤਰਮ੍ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਾਮਪਿ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਂ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਨੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਃ ਪਤ੍ਯੁਃ ਪਾਰ੍ਸ਼੍ਵੇ ਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
11 And great fear was on all the assembly, and on all them that heard it.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਮਣ੍ਡਲ੍ਯਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਅਨ੍ਯਲੋਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਾਂ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਾਧ੍ਵਸੰ ਗਤਾਃ|
12 And there were many signs and prodigies wrought by the legates among the people. And they were all assembled together in the porch of Solomon.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਹਸ੍ਤੈ ਰ੍ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਬਹ੍ਵਾਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਾਣ੍ਯਦ੍ਭੁਤਾਨਿ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣ੍ਯਕ੍ਰਿਯਨ੍ਤ; ਤਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵ ਏਕਚਿੱਤੀਭੂਯ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨੋ (ਅ)ਲਿਨ੍ਦੇ ਸਮ੍ਭੂਯਾਸਨ੍|
13 And of the others, no one ventured to come near them; but the people magnified them.
ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਙ੍ਘਾਨ੍ਤਰ੍ਗੋ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਕੋਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਲ੍ਭਤਾਂ ਨਾਗਮਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਮਾਦ੍ਰਿਯਨ੍ਤ|
14 And the more were those added who feared the Lord, a multitude both of men and of women.
ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਯਃ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਬਹਵੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਭੁੰ ਸ਼ਰਣਮਾਪੰਨਾਃ|
15 So that they brought out into the streets the sick, laid on beds, that when Simon should pass, at least his shadow might cover them.
ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਯ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਕੇਨਾਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੇਣ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਛਾਯਾ ਕਸ੍ਮਿੰਸ਼੍ਚਿੱਜਨੇ ਲਗਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਯਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਰੋਗਿਣਃ ਸ਼ਿਵਿਕਯਾ ਖਟ੍ਵਯਾ ਚਾਨੀਯ ਪਥਿ ਪਥਿ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
16 And many came to them from other cities around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who had unclean spirits; and they were all cured.
ਚਤੁਰ੍ਦਿਕ੍ਸ੍ਥਨਗਰੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਬਹਵੋ ਲੋਕਾਃ ਸਮ੍ਭੂਯ ਰੋਗਿਣੋ(ਅ)ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭੁਤਗ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮਮ੍ ਆਨਯਨ੍ ਤਤਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਥਾ ਅਕ੍ਰਿਯਨ੍ਤ|
17 And the high priest was filled with indignation, and all those with him who were of the doctrine of the Sadducees.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਮਹਾਯਾਜਕਃ ਸਿਦੂਕਿਨਾਂ ਮਤਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਹਚਰਾਸ਼੍ਚ
18 And they laid hands on the legates, and took and bound them in prison.
ਮਹਾਕ੍ਰੋਧਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਿਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨ੍ ਧ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਨੀਚਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਾਯਾਂ ਬੱਧ੍ਵਾ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
19 Then the angel of the Lord, by night, opened the door of the prison, and let them out; and said to them:
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਰਾਤ੍ਰੌ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਦੂਤਃ ਕਾਰਾਯਾ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੰ ਮੋਚਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਨ੍ ਬਹਿਰਾਨੀਯਾਕਥਯਤ੍,
20 Go, stand in the temple, and speak to the people all these words of life.
ਯੂਯੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੇ ਦਣ੍ਡਾਯਮਾਨਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਮਾਂ ਜੀਵਨਦਾਯਿਕਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਤ|
21 And in the morning, they went and entered into the temple, and taught. And the high priest and those with him, convoked their associates and the Elders of Israel, and sent to the prison to bring forth the legates.
ਇਤਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯੂਸ਼਼ੇ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਉਪਦਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਨ੍ਤਃ| ਤਦਾ ਸਹਚਰਗਣੇਨ ਸਹਿਤੋ ਮਹਾਯਾਜਕ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਗਣਮ੍ ਇਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲ੍ਵੰਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਰਾਜਸਭਾਸਦਃ ਸਭਾਸ੍ਥਾਨ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਾਰਾਯਾਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਆਪਯਿਤੁੰ ਪਦਾਤਿਗਣੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
22 And when those sent by them went, they found them not in the prison; and they returned and came back,
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਾਰਾਯਾਂ ਤਾਨ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਇਤਿ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਮ੍ ਅਵਾਦਿਸ਼਼ੁਃ,
23 and said: We found the prison carefully closed, and also the keepers standing before the doors; and we opened, but found no one there.
ਵਯੰ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਨਿਰ੍ੱਵਿਘ੍ਨੰ ਕਾਰਾਯਾ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੰ ਰੁੱਧੰ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਕਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਸ੍ਯ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਦਣ੍ਡਾਯਮਾਨਾਨ੍ ਅਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਾਮ ਏਵ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੰ ਮੋਚਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਕਮਪਿ ਦ੍ਰਸ਼਼੍ਟੁੰ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾਃ|
24 And when the chief priests and rulers of the temple heard these words, they were astonished at them; and they studied what this could mean.
ਏਤਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਮਹਾਯਾਜਕੋ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੇਨਾਪਤਿਃ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ, ਇਤ ਪਰੰ ਕਿਮਪਰੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਨ੍ਦਿਗ੍ਧਚਿੱਤਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍|
25 And one came and informed them: Those men, whom ye shut up in the prison, lo, they are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਸਮਯੇ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਜਨ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਮੇਤਾਮ੍ ਅਵਦਤ੍ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ ਯੂਯੰ ਯਾਨ੍ ਮਾਨਵਾਨ੍ ਕਾਰਾਯਾਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਤ ਤੇ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਉਪਦਿਸ਼ਨ੍ਤਿ|
26 Then went the rulers with attendants, to bring them without violence; for they feared, lest the people should stone them.
ਤਦਾ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੇਨਾਪਤਿਃ ਪਦਾਤਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਚੇੱਲੋਕਾਃ ਪਾਸ਼਼ਾਣਾਨ੍ ਨਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪ੍ਯਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਮਾਰਯਨ੍ਤੀਤਿ ਭਿਯਾ ਵਿਨਤ੍ਯਾਚਾਰੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਆਨਯਨ੍|
27 And when they had brought them, they placed them before the whole council; and the high priest began to say to them:
ਤੇ ਮਹਾਸਭਾਯਾ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤਾਨ੍ ਅਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਨ੍ ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਮਹਾਯਾਜਕਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰੁʼੱਛਤ੍,
28 Did we not strictly charge you, to teach no person in this name? And behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine; and ye would bring the blood of this man upon us.
ਅਨੇਨ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਸਮੁਪਦੇਸ਼਼੍ਟੁੰ ਵਯੰ ਕਿੰ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਢੰ ਨ ਨ੍ਯਸ਼਼ੇਧਾਮ? ਤਥਾਪਿ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ ਯੂਯੰ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਤੇਨੋਪਦੇਸ਼ੇਨੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮੰ ਪਰਿਪੂਰ੍ਣੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਜਨਸ੍ਯ ਰਕ੍ਤਪਾਤਜਨਿਤਾਪਰਾਧਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਨੇਤੁੰ ਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਧ੍ਵੇ|
29 And Simon, with the legates, answered and said to them: God is to be obeyed, rather than men.
ਤਤਃ ਪਿਤਰੋਨ੍ਯਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਵਦਨ੍ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ਸ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਹਣਾਦ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਹਣਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕਮੁਚਿਤਮ੍|
30 The God of our fathers hath raised up that Jesus, whom ye slew when ye hanged him on a tree.
ਯੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਯੂਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵੇਧਿਤ੍ਵਾਹਤ ਤਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੈਤ੍ਰੁʼਕ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਉੱਥਾਪ੍ਯ
31 Him hath God established as a head and vivifier; and hath exalted him to his own right hand, so that he might give repentance and remission of sins to Israel.
ਇਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲ੍ਵੰਸ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਮਨਃਪਰਿਵਰ੍ੱਤਨੰ ਪਾਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮਾਞ੍ਚ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਰਾਜਾਨੰ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਤਾਰਞ੍ਚ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ੍ਵਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਪਾਰ੍ਸ਼੍ਵੇ ਤਸ੍ਯਾੰਨਤਿਮ੍ ਅਕਰੋਤ੍|
32 And we are the witnesses of these things; and also the Holy Spirit, whom God giveth to them that believe in him.
ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਵਯਮਪਿ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣ ਆਸ੍ਮਹੇ, ਤਤ੍ ਕੇਵਲੰ ਨਹਿ, ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਆਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਭ੍ਯੋ ਯੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸੋਪਿ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਸ੍ਤਿ|
33 And when they heard these things, they burned with indignation, and thought of putting them to death.
ਏਤਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤੇ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਹ੍ਰੁʼਦਯਾਨਿ ਵਿੱਧਾਨ੍ਯਭਵਨ੍ ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਾਨ੍ ਹਨ੍ਤੁੰ ਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
34 Then rose up one of the Pharisees whose name was Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, and honored by all the people; and he directed them to put the legates aside for a short time.
ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਸਮਯੇ ਤਤ੍ਸਭਾਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸੁਖ੍ਯਾਤੋ ਗਮਿਲੀਯੇਲ੍ਨਾਮਕ ਏਕੋ ਜਨੋ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਪਕਃ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਲੋਕ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨ੍ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਗਨ੍ਤੁਮ੍ ਆਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍,
35 And he said, to them: Men, sons of Israel, take heed to yourselves, and consider what ye ought to do in regard to these men.
ਹੇ ਇਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲ੍ਵੰਸ਼ੀਯਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਏਤਾਨ੍ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਯਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁਮ੍ ਉਦ੍ਯਤਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਾਵਧਾਨਾ ਭਵਤ|
36 For before this time, rose up Theudas, and said of himself, that he was some great one; and there went after him about four hundred men. And he was slain; and they who went after him, were dispersed and became as nothing.
ਇਤਃ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਥੂਦਾਨਾਮੈਕੋ ਜਨ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਸ੍ਵੰ ਕਮਪਿ ਮਹਾਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ਮ੍ ਅਵਦਤ੍, ਤਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਾਯੇਣ ਚਤੁਃਸ਼ਤਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਤਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣੋਭਵਨ੍ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਸ ਹਤੋਭਵਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣੋ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਵਿਰ੍ਕੀਰ੍ਣਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤੋ (ਅ)ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍|
37 And after him, rose up Judas a Galilean, in the days when the people were enrolled for the capitation tax; and he seduced much people after him. And he died, and all they that went after him were dispersed.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾੱਜਨਾਤ੍ ਪਰੰ ਨਾਮਲੇਖਨਸਮਯੇ ਗਾਲੀਲੀਯਯਿਹੂਦਾਨਾਮੈਕੋ ਜਨ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਬਹੂੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਮਤੰ ਗ੍ਰਾਹੀਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤਃ ਸੋਪਿ ਵ੍ਯਨਸ਼੍ਯਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣੋ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਆਸਨ੍ ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਵਿਕੀਰ੍ਣਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍|
38 And now, I say to you: Desist from these men, and let them lone. For if this device and this work originate from men, they will dissolve and come to nothing.
ਅਧੁਨਾ ਵਦਾਮਿ, ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਏਤਾਨ੍ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਨ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ਤਾ ਭਵਤ, ਯਤ ਏਸ਼਼ ਸਙ੍ਕਲ੍ਪ ਏਤਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਚ ਯਦਿ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਦਭਵਤ੍ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਵਿਫਲੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
39 But if it be from God, it is not in your power to frustrate it: that ye may not be found placing yourselves in opposition to God. And they, assented to him.
ਯਦੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਾਦਭਵਤ੍ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਨ੍ਯਥਾ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ, ਵਰਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਰੋਧਕਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ|
40 And they called the legates, and scourged them, and commanded them not to teach in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them.
ਤਦਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਣਾਂ ਸ੍ਵੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨ੍ ਆਹੂਯ ਪ੍ਰਹ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਰ੍ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਕਾਮਪਿ ਕਥਾਂ ਕਥਯਿਤੁੰ ਨਿਸ਼਼ਿਧ੍ਯ ਵ੍ਯਸਰ੍ਜਨ੍|
41 And they went from before them, rejoicing that they were worthy to suffer abuse on account of that name.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਮਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਵਯੰ ਲੱਜਾਭੋਗਸ੍ਯ ਯੋਗ੍ਯਤ੍ਵੇਨ ਗਣਿਤਾ ਇਤ੍ਯਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਨਨ੍ਦਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਸਭਾਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਂ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਦ੍ ਅਗੱਛਨ੍|
42 And they ceased not to teach daily, in the temple and at home, and to preach concerning our Lord Jesus Messiah.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਦਿਨੰ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੇ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੇ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੇ ਚਾਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮਮ੍ ਉਪਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
