< 2 Timothy 2 >
1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace which is by Jesus the Messiah.
Timothy kangailuttah kachapa, Yeshua Christa a um Pathen in napeh hiche lungsetna a chun hat in.
2 And the things thou hast heard from me by many witnesses, these commit thou to faithful men, who are competent to teach others also.
Tahsan theitah hettohsah tamtah'in asuhdet kathuhil hochu nangman najatan ahi. Tun nangin hiche thutah hohi tahsan thei miho chu hilin, chutileh amahon midangho koma apehdoh sondiu ahi.
3 And endure evils, as a good soldier of Jesus the Messiah.
Yeshua Christa sepai phatah bangin ahahsa kathohhi neithohpin.
4 No man, on becoming a soldier, entangleth himself with the business of the world; that he may please him who enlisted him.
Sepai galkap pet koima leiset hinkho thil ho dingin akisalelpoi, ajeh chu hiche chun sepaiya apansahpa alunglhai sah theipon ahi.
5 And if one contend in the games, he is not crowned, unless he contendeth according to the rules.
Chuleh golseh kitetna ajong koiman dan juilouvin kipaman asang ngaipoi.
6 The husbandman who laboreth, ought first to feed on his fruits.
Chule natong hat loubol mi jong atohga nemasapen a pang dingdol ahi.
7 Consider what I say. Our Lord give thee wisdom in all things.
Kathusei hi hoitah'in geltoh them in, Pakaiyin hichehohi nahetthem sahding ahi.
8 Be mindful of Jesus the Messiah, that he arose from the dead; who was of the seed of David, according to my gospel,
Yeshua Christa hi leng David chilhah ahin, athia kona kaithouva um ahi tia kathuhil hi phat tinin geldoh jingin.
9 in which I suffer evils unto bonds, as if an evil-doer: but the word of God is not in bonds.
Chuleh hiche kipana thupha thohgimna hohi kato ahi. Amavang Pathen thuhi akikham tang theidehpoi.
10 Therefore I endure every thing, for the elect's sake; that they also may obtain life, in Jesus the Messiah, with eternal glory. (aiōnios )
Pathen in alhendoh ho dinga huhhingna le Christa a tonsot loupina ahinpohlut ding ahiphot le itobang thohgimna hijongleh thohding kanom in ahi. (aiōnios )
11 Faithful is the saying, For if we shall have died with him, we shall also live with him;
Hiche hi tahsan umtah thuhil ahi: Amatoh ithikhom uleh amatoh ihinkhom diu ahi.
12 and, if we shall have suffered, we shall also reign with him. But if we shall have rejected him, he will reject us.
Amatoh ithohgim khom uleh amatoh ivaihom khomdiu ahi, ama iseilep uleh amanjong eiseilep diu ahi.
13 And if we shall have not believed in him, he abideth in his fidelity; for he cannot reject himself.
Ahinlah eihon kitahna neihih jongleu hen amachu kitahjing ahi, ijeh inem itileh ama chu amaleh ama kiseilep theilou ahi.
14 Of these things admonish thou them and charge them, before our Lord, that they dispute not, with unprofitable words, to the subversion of those who hear them.
Nangman hichethu hohi mijouse geldohsah in, chule phatchomna bei mohthu pouva akinel bautam louna dingun Pathen anga hilchah in. Ajehchu hitobang kinelna hochun ajaho lungthim asuhset ding ahi.
15 And study to present thyself before God, perfectly, a laborer who is not ashamed, one who correctly announceth the word of truth.
Pathen lunglhaina nachan theina dingin ama a dingin kiphal thengin, gunchun Pathen thuhi jachatna beihelin adihna bangtah in hilchenin lang ponpanin.
16 Avoid vain discourses, in which there is no profit; for they very much add to the wickedness of those occupied with them.
Pathen nahsah louna thu phachomlou ngolkai thu kihoulimna'a konin kikangse in,
17 And their discourse, like an eating cancer, will lay hold upon many. And one of these is Hymeneus, and another Philetus;
Hitobang thuphalou hohi tahsa a hivei phalou tobanga, Hymenaeus le Philetus chunga soh tobanga chu, kithejal ji ahi.
18 who have wandered from the truth, while they say, The resurrection of the dead hath passed: and they subvert the faith of some.
Amahohi thutah'a kona lamvai ahiuvin, mithiho chu thoudohsa ahitauve atiuvin miphabep khat tahsanna lama konin alehei tauvin ahi.
19 But the firm foundation of God standeth; and it hath this seal, The Lord knoweth them who are his: and, Let every one who invoketh the name of our Lord, stand aloof from iniquity.
Ahinlah Pathen thudih hi khombul kiphut detchet bangin adingdet jingin achungah hiche thuhi akijih in ahi, “Pakaiyin ama hochu koikoi ahi ahen chuleh Pakai mite chu thilsea konin akiheimang jiuve,” akiti.
20 But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold or silver, but also of wood and of pottery; and some of them for honor, and some for dishonor.
Mihao insunga chun sana le dangka a kisem thilkeo ngen aumpon thingle leibel jong aumin, amantamho chu kinthupia kimang chading ahin, aman lhomho chu nitina manchah hiding ahiuve.
21 If therefore any one purge himself from these things, he will be a pure vessel for honor, fit for the use of his Lord, and prepared for every good work.
Nangma nakisuhtheng jinga ahileh kinloupia manchahthei thilkeo thupi chu nahi ding ahi. Nahinkho chu theng ding Pakaiyin thilphachoma amanchah dinga kigosa jing chu nahi ahi.
22 Fly from all the lusts of youth; and follow after righteousness, and faith, and love, and peace, with them that invoke our Lord with a pure heart.
Khandonlai lungngaichat ho jousea konin jammangin, amavang chonphatna, kitahna, ngailutna le chamna chu hadel in, lungthengsel a Pakai kom beljingho toh kiloikhomin,
23 Avoid those foolish discussions which afford no instruction; for thou knowest, that they generate contests.
Avel in seikit inge, ngol hoitah, ima hetohlouva kinel bautamna hoa konchun kikangse doh in, hichun kinahna asodohsah jin ahi.
24 And a servant of our Lord ought not to contend, but to be mild towards every one, and instructive, and patient;
Chuleh Pakai lhacha chun mitoh kinah abollou ding, amavang mijouse angailut ding, mihilthem hiding, chuleh mihahsa ho chu adepthem ding ahi.
25 that with mildness he may enlighten those who dispute against him, if perhaps God may give them repentance, and they may acknowledge the truth,
Thutah doudal hochu kangkhen chan hilthem in ajeh chu amaho lungthim chu Pathen in aleheiya thutah chu ahin hetthem thei diu ahi.
26 and may recollect themselves, and may escape out of the snare of Satan, at whose pleasure they have been held ensnared.
