2 Thessalonians 1

1 PAUL and Sylvanus and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians, which is in God our Father and our Lord Jesus the Messiah:

थेस्सलोनिकेयुस नगर की कलीसिया को, जो पिता परमेश्वर तथा प्रभु येशु मसीह में है, पौलॉस, सिलवानॉस तथा तिमोथियॉस की ओर से:

2 Grace be with you, and peace, from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus the Messiah.

तुममें पिता परमेश्वर तथा प्रभु येशु मसीह का अनुग्रह तथा शांति बनी रहे.

3 We are bound to give thanks to God always, on your account, my brethren, as it is proper; because your faith groweth exceedingly, and, in you all, the love of each for his fellow increaseth.

प्रिय भाई बहनो, तुम्हारे बढ़ते हुए विश्वास तथा हर एक में आपसी प्रेम के दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ते जाने के लिए परमेश्वर को हमारा लगातार धन्यवाद सही ही है.

4 Insomuch that we also boast of you in the churches of God, on account of your faith, and your patience in all the persecution and trials that ye endure;

इसलिये, परमेश्वर की कलीसियाओं में हम तुम्हारे द्वारा सहे जा रहे उत्पीड़नों और यातनाओं की स्थिति में भी तुम्हारे द्वारा की जा रही लगातार कोशिशों तथा विश्वास का वर्णन अत्यंत गर्व के साथ करते हैं.

5 for a demonstration of the righteous judgment of God; that ye may be worthy of his kingdom, on account of which ye suffer.

यह सब परमेश्वर के सच्चे न्याय के निर्णय का एक स्पष्ट प्रमाण है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप तुम परमेश्वर के राज्य के योग्य समझे जाओगे—वस्तुतः तुम यातनाएं इसी के लिए सह रहे हो.

6 And since it is a righteous thing with God, to recompense trouble to them that trouble you:

इसलिये परमेश्वर के लिए यही सही है कि वह उन्हें भी क्लेश ही दें, जिन्होंने तुम्हें क्लेश दिया है

7 and you, who are the troubled, he will vivify, with us, at the manifestation of our Lord Jesus the Messiah from heaven, with the host of his angels;

तथा प्रभु येशु के स्वर्ग से ज्वालामय आग में अपने सामर्थ्यी स्वर्गदूतों के साथ प्रकट होने के अवसर पर तुम्हारी और हमारी भी, जो दूर हैं, पीड़ा मिटे.

8 when he will execute vengeance, with the burning of fire, on them that know not God, and on them that acknowledge not the gospel of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.

उस अवसर पर वह उन सबसे बदला लेंगे, जो परमेश्वर को जानते नहीं है तथा उनसे भी, जो हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह के ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार को नहीं मानते हैं.

9 For these will be recompensed with the judgment of eternal destruction, from the presence of our Lord, and from the glory of his power; (aiōnios g166)

अनंत विनाश उनका दंड होगा. इसमें वे प्रभु की उपस्थिति तथा उनके सामर्थ्य के पराक्रम से दूर कर दिए जाएंगे. (aiōnios g166)

10 when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to display his wonders in his faithful ones; for our testimony concerning you, will be believed, in that day.

उस समय वह अपने पवित्र लोगों के बीच गौरवान्वित होंगे तथा वे सभी, जिन्होंने उनमें विश्वास किया है, उन्हें चकित हो निहारेंगे. तुम भी उनमें शामिल हो क्योंकि तुमने हमारे संदेश में विश्वास किया है.

11 Therefore we pray for you, at all times; that God would make you worthy of your calling, and would fill you with all readiness for good deeds, and with the works of faith by power;

इस बात के प्रकाश में हम तुम्हारे लिए हमेशा प्रार्थना करते हैं कि तुम हमारे परमेश्वर के मत में अपनी बुलावे के अनुरूप पाए जाओ तथा तुम उत्तम उद्देश्य की हर एक अभिलाषा तथा विश्वास के हर एक काम को सामर्थ्य से पूरा करते जाओ,

12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, may be glorified in you, (and) ye also in him; according to the grace of God, and of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.

कि हमारे परमेश्वर तथा प्रभु येशु मसीह की कृपा के अनुसार तुममें हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह की तथा उनमें तुम्हारी महिमा हो.
