< 2 Peter 3 >

1 This second epistle, my beloved, I now write to you; in both of which I stir up your honest mind by admonition:
Ka lungnaak ka pyikhqi, ve ak ca ve nangmih a venawh hih voei ka pat lawnaak hawh ni. Ik-oeih boeih ak leek na namik poek thainaak aham ka pat law na awm hy.
2 that ye may be mindful of the words which were formerly spoken by the holy prophets, and of the injunction of our Lord and Redeemer by the hand of the legates:
Ak kqym awh tawnghak ciimkhqi ing ami nak kqawn awi ingkaw ceityihkhqi hawnaak ing ningnih a Bawipa ingkaw Hulkung ing anik kqawn law peek khqi awi ce nami sim tlaih aham ngaih nyng.
3 knowing this previously, that there will come in the last days scoffers, who will scoff, walking according to their own lusts;
Lamma cyk awh, khawnghi a dytnaak ben awhtaw thlang ak kqawnseetkhqi law kawm usaw thlang kqawn seet kawm uh, a mimah ak che ngaihnaak doeng ce hquut kawm uh, tice nami sim aham awm hy.
4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, since our fathers fell asleep, every thing remaineth just as from the beginning of the creation.
Cekkhqi ing, Anih ing awi tahy, tice hana kawng a law? Ni pakhqi ami thih coeng awhkawng ik-oeihkhqi ve khawmdek a syn cyk awhkawng amah toeng toeng nani a awm boeih hy,” ti kawm uh.
5 For this they willingly forget, that the heavens were of old; and the earth rose up from the waters, and by means of water, by the word of God.
Cehlai syn awh Khawsak awi ing khawk khan awm nawh tui awhkawng tui ingkaw khawmdek ve sai na awm hy tice hilh uhy.
6 And, by means of these waters, the world which then was, being submerged again perished in the waters.
Vawhkaw tui ing cawhkaw khawmdek ce liu nawh hqe bai hy.
7 And the heavens that now are, and the earth, are by his word stored up, being reserved for the fire at the day of judgment and the perdition of wicked men.
Cawhkaw awi ing tuh kaw khawmdek ingkaw khawk khan ve mai ing dawi aham ta nawh, awidengnaakkhqi hqenaak khawnghi awm hoep pe bai hy.
8 And of this one thing, my beloved, be not forgetful, That one day, to the Lord, is as a thousand years; and a thousand years, as one day.
Cehlai, ka lungnaak ka pyikhqi, ve a ik-oeih pynoet ve koeh hilh uh: Bawipa ham taw khawnghi hypoet ve kum thong khat amyihna awm nawh, kum thong khat awm khawnghi hypoet amyihna awm hy.
9 The Lord doth not procrastinate his promises, as some estimate procrastination; but he is long suffering, for your sakes, being not willing that any should perish, but that every one should come to repentance.
Thlang pynoet ing ami sim amyihna, awi a taaknaak awh Bawipa taw ang tah am heng hy. Nangmih ak khanawh anih ce ak kaw dung hy, u awm plawci aham am ngaih nawh thlang boeih aming zut ceni a ngaih hy.
10 And the day of the Lord will come, like a thief; in which the heavens will suddenly pass away; and the elements, being ignited, will be dissolved; and the earth and the works in it, will not be found.
Cehlai Bawipa a khawnghi taw quk-ai amyihna law kaw. Khawk khan taw hum kawmsaw qeeng kaw; ik-oeihkhqi ce mai awh ui kaw, cawh khawmdek ingkaw ak khuiawh ak awm ik-oeihkhqi boeih ce hlam qu pheng kaw.
11 As therefore all these things are to be dissolved, what persons ought ye to be, in holy conduct, and in the fear of God,
Vemyihna ik-oeihkhqi boeih hqe aham a awm dawngawh, nangmih taw ikawmyih ak thlangkhqi na nami awm aham a awm ce? Ak ciim ingkaw Khawsak kawngaih khawsaknaak ing khaw nami sak aham awm hy.
12 expecting and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being tried by fire will be dissolved, and the elements being ignited will melt?
Khawsa khawnghi ingkaw a lawnaak ceni naming lamtoen hy. Ce a khawnghi ing mai ing khawk khan hqenaak ce haw law kaw, cawh ak khuiawh ak awm ik-oeihkhqi ce a hlawk aih awh a tui na tle kaw.
13 But we, according to his promise, expect new heavens, and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.
Cehlai amah ak awi taak ce khoem doena thlakciimkhqi awmnaak im khawk khan thai ingkaw khawmdek thai ce ningnih ing ning lamtoen uhy.
14 Therefore, my beloved, as ye expect these things, strive that ye may be found by him in peace, without spot and without blemish.
Cawhtaw, ka lungnaak ka pyikhqi, ce a ik-oeih ce naming lamtoen a dawngawh, coet a kap kaana awm unawh amah ing qoep ang qui na nami awmnaak thai aham namik tha lo law lah uh.
15 And account the long suffering of the Lord to be redemption; as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom conferred on him, wrote to you;
Ningmih a naa Paul ingawm Khawsa ing a peek cyihnaak ing nangmih a venawh ca ami qee law hawh amyihna, ningnih a Bawipa ak kawdungnaak taw hulnaak ni, tice namik kawk khuiawh ta law uh.
16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which there is something difficult to be understood; and which they who are ignorant and unstable, pervert, as they do also the rest of the scriptures, to their own destruction.
Anih a capatkhqi boeih awh ak myih qu na ve akawng ve kqawn hy. A capat awh awi pynoet zaksim ak kyikhqi awm awm hy, kawna awm amak ngaikhqi ingkaw kawlung amak cak thlangkhqi ing Cakciim ak chang ikaw awi ami melh amyihna, a mimah a seetnaak aham, ce ak awi ce ak kawi na melh uhy.
17 Ye therefore, my beloved, as ye know these things beforehand, guard yourselves, lest, by going after the error of the lawless, ye fall from your steadfastness.
Cedawngawh, ka lungnaak ka pyikhqi, ve a ik-oeih ve nami sim hawh dawngawh, a lawng a lam kaana khaw ak sakhqi a thawlhnaak awh am paa unawh ak cak dyih hun awhkawng am naming tluuknaak aham ngaihta lah uh.
18 But be ye growing in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus the Messiah, and of God the Father: whose is the glory, now, and always, and to the days of eternity. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Ningmih a Bawipa ingkaw Hulkung Jesu Khrih am qeennaak ingkaw cyihnaak awh ce hang taai hqui lah uh. Amah a venawh thangleeknaak tuh awhkawng kumqui dy awm seh! Amen (aiōn g165)
