1 John 4

1 My beloved, believe not all spirits; but discriminate among spirits, whether they are of God: for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Ba sunwa, sanzi muzumini ihuho zonse. Mihe mulike ihuho kuvona kapa zizwa kwe Ireeza, kakuti vaporofita va mapa bangi vava yendi mwi nkanda.

2 By this the Spirit of God is known, every spirit that confesseth that Jesus the Messiah hath come in the flesh, is of God.

Chechi ka mwizive luhuho lwe Ireeza—luhuho lonse luzumina kuti Jesu avezi mwi nkanda che nyama uzwa kwe Ireza,

3 And every spirit which confesseth not that Jesus the Messiah hath come in the flesh, is not of God; but he is of the false Messiah, of whom ye have heard that he cometh, and now is he already in the world.

Mi luhuho lonse lusa zumini kuti Jesu uzwa kwe Ireeza kaluzwi kwe Ireeza. Ulu nji luhuho lwa bakani ba keresite, umu vazuwi kuti ukeza, mi hanu chiwina kale mwi nkanda.

4 But ye children, are of God; and ye have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you, than he who is in the world.

Muzwa kwe Ireza, Vaana va lotu, mi muva zunda kakuti iye wina mwenu mukando kwali wina mwi nkanda.

5 And they are of the world: therefore they speak from the world, and the world heareth them.

Abo vazwa mwi nkanda, linu ziva wamba zizwa mwi nkanda, Mi ve nkanda va teka kuvali.

6 But we are of God; and he that knoweth God, heareth us; and he that is not of God, heareth us not. By this, we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Tuzwa kwe Ireza. Yense yo zwa kwe Ireza utekeleza kwetu. Iye yasa zwi kwe Ireza ka tekelezi kwetu. Chechi twi ziva luhuho lwe niti ni luhuho lu fosahele.

7 My beloved, let us love one another: because love is from God; and whoever loveth, is born of God and knoweth God.

Vasakwa, tulisake zumwi ku zumwi, mi ilato lizwa kwe Ireza, mi yense yo suna uzalwa kwe Ireza mi wizi Ireza.

8 Because God is love; and whoever loveth not, doth not know God.

Muntu yasa suni vamwi kezi Ireza, mukuti Ireza ilato.

9 By this was the love of God towards us made known, because God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, that we by him might live.

Cheli ivaka ilato lye Ireza liva patulwilwa mukati ketu, Kuti Ireeza ava tumi mwana kwe ye yena mwi nkanda kuti tu hale che vaka lya chakwe.

10 In this is love; it was not that we loved God, but that God loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.

Mweli ilato, isinyi kuti tuva suni Ireza. kono kuti aba tusuni, mi cho kuti aba tumi mwaana kwe kuti ave chitavelo cha zivi zetu.

11 My beloved, if God hath so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Basunwa, haiva Ireza ava tusuni, naswe vulyo tuli sune.

12 No one hath ever seen God; but if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Kakwina ichaba bwene Ireza. Hatu lisuna, Ireza wi kala mwetu, Mi ilato lyakwe li kondete mwetu.

13 And by this we know, that we abide in him and that he abideth in us, because he hath given of his Spirit to us.

Chechi twizi kuti twina kwali mi wina kwetu, kakuti ava tuhi lumwi kulu huho lwakwe.

14 And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent his Son, a Redeemer for the world.

Hape, tu vavoni mi twina vupaki bwa kuti Ishetu ava tumi mwana kwe we chiswisu kuti za ve muhazi we nkanda.

15 Whoever confesseth Jesus to be the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he abideth in God.

Yense yo lemuha kuti Jesu mwana Ireza, Ireza wina mwali mi naye mwe Ireza.

16 And we have believed and known the love, which God hath towards us: for God is love, and whoever abideth in love, abideth in God.

Hape, tuvezivi ni kuzumina ilato lye Ireza kwetu. Ireza ilato, mi yo shala mweli ilato wi kalilila kwe Ireza, mi ni Ireza wi kalilila kwali.

17 And hereby is his love perfected with us; that we may have open countenances in the day of judgment; because as he was, so also are we in this world.

Cheli ivaka, Ili ilato liva chitililwa mukati ketu. Njokuti katuve ni nsepo mwi zuva lye nkatulo, kakuti mwe kalile, vo vulyo mutwi kalile mwi nkanda.

18 In love there is no fear; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear existeth in peril, and he that feareth is not perfected in love.

Kakwina kutiya mwilato. Kono, ilato lishiyeme kutandila kutiya kunze. Kakuti kutiya kuleta inkatulo. Kono yo tiya keni kupetahala mwi lato.

19 Let us, therefore, love God; because he hath first loved us.

Tusuna kakuti Ireza ava tusuni lwe ntazi,

20 And if any one shall say, I love God, and yet hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother who is visible, how can he love God who is invisible?

Haiva muntu nata kuti, “Nisuni Ireza” kono utoyete mwakwe, wina mapa. Mukuti yasa suni mwakwe, yava voni, ka woli kusuna Ireza, yaseni kuvona.

21 And this command we have received from him, that whoever loveth God, must love also his brother.

Hape, iyi nji ntaelo itukwete kuzwa kwali: Yense yosuna Ireza, uswanela kusuna mwakwe.
