Revelation 8
1 AND when he had opened the SEVENTH SEAL, silence was in heaven, as the dividing of an hour.
Cuando [el Cordero ]abrió el séptimo sello hubo silencio en el cielo como por media hora.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before Aloha, and there were given to them SEVEN TRUMPETS.
Vi a los siete ángeles que estaban en pie delante de Dios. Se les dieron siete trompetas.
3 And another angel came, and stood at the altar, and he had a censer of gold, and many perfumes were given to him, which he should give with the prayers of all saints upon the altar of gold that is before the throne;
Llegó otro ángel que tenía un incensario de oro y se puso en pie junto al altar. Y se le dieron muchos inciensos para que los añadiera a las conversaciones de todos los santos con Dios sobre el altar de oro que está delante del trono.
4 and the cloud of the perfumes of the prayers of the saints ascended from the hand of the angel before Aloha.
De mano del ángel ascendió el humo del incienso con las conversaciones de los santos con Dios delante de Él.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast forth upon the earth. And there were thunders, and lightnings, and voices, and movement.
El ángel tomó el incensario, lo llenó del fuego del altar y [lo] lanzó a la tierra. Y se produjeron truenos, ruidos, rayos y un terremoto.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared them to sound. And the First sounded.
Los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se prepararon para tocarlas.
7 And there was hail, and fire mingled with the waters, and they were cast upon the earth; and the third of the earth burned, and the third of the trees burned, and every green herb burned.
El primero tocó la trompeta. Hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, [los cuales] fueron lanzados a la tierra. Y se quemó la tercera parte de la tierra, de los árboles y de toda hierba verde.
8 And the Second angel sounded. And as a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third of the sea also became blood.
El segundo ángel tocó la trompeta. [Algo] como una gran montaña que ardía en llamas fue lanzada al mar. La tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre.
9 And the third of all creatures which were in the sea, which had lives, died, and the third of the ships were destroyed.
Murió la tercera parte de las criaturas marítimas, y fue destruida la tercera parte de las naves.
10 And the Third angel sounded. And there fell from heaven a star burning as a lamp, and it fell upon the third of the rivers, and upon fountains of waters.
El tercer ángel tocó la trompeta. Y una gran estrella encendida como una antorcha cayó del cielo sobre la tercera parte de los ríos y sobre las fuentes de las aguas.
11 And the name of the star is called Aphsinthos; and the third of the waters became bitterness, and many men died from the waters because they were bitter.
El nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo. La tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo. Y muchos hombres murieron a causa de las aguas, porque se volvieron amargas.
12 And the Fourth angel sounded. And the third of the sun was absorbed, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, as that the third of them should be darkened; and they were darkened, and the day shone not a third of it, and the night, in like manner.
El cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta. Fue golpeada la tercera parte del sol, de la luna, y de las estrellas para que se oscureciera la tercera parte de ellos, y que no resplandecieran en la tercera parte del día ni de la noche.
13 And I beheld, and heard an eagle, flying in the midst, having a tail of blood, saying with a great voice, Woe, woe, to those who dwell upon earth, from the voice of the rest of the trumpets of the three angels which are about to sound!
Miré, y escuché un águila que subió al cenit y dijo a gran voz: ¡Ay! ¡Ay! ¡Ay de los que viven en la tierra por causa de los otros toques de trompeta de los tres ángeles que están a punto de tocar!
