Revelation 17
1 AND one of the seven angels who had the seven vials came and spake with me, saying, Come; I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot, which sitteth upon many waters:
Laappun xuu7ata oykkida laappun kiitanchchotappe issoy taakko yidi, “Haaya; daro haathata bolla uttida gita laymatiya maccase bolla yaanaw de7iya pirddaa ta nena bessana.
2 with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and they who dwell in the earth have been made drunk by the wine of her fornication.
Alamiya kawoti iira laymatidosona; alamen de7iya asaykka I laymatetha woyniya uyidi mathottidosona” yaagis.
3 And he led me into the desert, in the spirit; and I saw a woman sitting on a beast of prey which was red, full of names of blasphemy, (and) having seven heads and ten horns.
He kiitanchchoy tana Geeshsha Ayyaanan bazzo biitta efis. Yan issi maccasiya cashsha sunthay i bolla ubban xaafettidi uttida, zo7o do7aa toggidaaro be7as; he do7aas laappun huu7eynne tammu kacey de7ees.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and golden with gold and precious stones and pearls; having a cup of gold in her hand, full of pollutions and uncleanness of her fornications the earth.
He maccasiya kaalose ma7onne zo7o ma7o ma77asu; iya worqqan, bonchcho shuchchaninne inqo giya al77o shuchchan alleeqettasu. Iya ba kushen borssiyabaanne laymatetha tunatethan kumida worqqa xuu7a oykkasu.
5 And upon her forehead the name was written, Mystery: Babel the Great, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth.
I som77on xuura ooso birshshethay de7iya sunthay, “Gita Baabilooney, laymatethasinne sa7an de7iya tunabaa ubbaas aayo” yaagiya xuufey xaafettidi uttis.
6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jeshu; and I wondered, when I saw, with great wonder.
Qassi he maccasiya geeshshata suuthaanne Yesuusas markkattishe hayqqidayssata suuthaa uyada mathottidaaro ta be7ada malaaletas.
7 And the angel said to me, Why wonderest thou? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast of prey which beareth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns.
Kiitanchchoy taakko, “Neeni ays malaalettay? Taani new maccasse xuura odaanne iya tookkida laappun huu7eynne tammu kacey de7iya do7aa xuura odaa odana.
8 The beast of prey which thou seest, was, and is not; and will ascend from the abyss, and go into perdition: and they who dwell on the earth will admire, they whose name is not written in the book of life from the foundations of the world, while they see the beast of prey, who was, and is not, and draweth nigh. Neeni be7ida do7ay koyro de7ees, shin ha77i baawa. He do7ay ciimmo ollaafe keyidi dhayos baana. Sa7ay medhettosappe doomidi, de7o maxaafan entta sunthay xaafettiboonna sa7an de7iya asay do7aa be7idi malaalettana. Hiza, I kase de7ees; ha77i baawa, shin sinthafe yaana. (Abyssos g12)
9 Here is the mind of him who hath wisdom: The seven heads are seven hills where the woman sitteth upon them.
“Hayssi cinccatethinne akeeka koyees. Laappun huu7eti maccasiya uttiya laappun dereta; hessati qassi laappun kawota.
10 And the kings are seven; five have fallen, one is, the other not yet hath come: and when he hath come, a little while it behoveth him to abide.
Enttafe ichchashu kawoti kunddidosona. Issoy ha77i gakkanaw haarees; hankko Kawoy yibeenna. I yidi guutha wode takkanaw bessees.
11 And the beast of prey which was and is not, this is an Eighth, and is of the Seven, and is unto perdition.
Sinthe de7ida do7ay, ha77i baynnayssi, I ba huu7en hosppuntha do7aa. I laappun do7atappe issuwa; I dhayanaw bees.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, the men who kingdom not yet have received; but authority as kings one hour receive with the beast of prey.
Neeni be7ida tammu kaceti haaro doomiboonna tammu kawota. Shin entti do7aara issife issi saate kawotidi haaranaw enttaw maati imettana.
13 They have one will, and their power and their authority unto the beast of prey they will give.
Entta ubbaas issi qofay de7ees; entti bantta wolqqaanne bantta maataa do7aas immana.
14 They with the Lamb will make war, and the Lamb will overcome them; for he is the Lord of lords, and the King of kings, and they who are with him (are) the called and the chosen and the faithful.
Entti Dorssaara olettana, shin dorssay godata Godaanne kawota Kawo gidiya gisho, I xeegidayssati, dooridayssatinne ammanettidayssati he kawota xoonana” yaagis.
15 And he said to me, The waters which thou sawest where the harlot is sitting, are peoples, and assemblages, and tongues.
Kiitanchchoy qassika taakko, “Laymatiyara uttida he neeni be7ida haathati, yarata, kawotethata, zerethatanne dumma dumma doonan odetteyssata.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast of prey, will hate the harlot, and make her desolate and naked; and her flesh they will eat, and herself burn with fire.
Qassi neeni be7ida tammu kaceynne do7ay laymatiyaro ixxana. Entti iw de7iya ubbabaa ekkana. Qassi iyo kallo ashshananne I ashuwa midigana; yaatidi entti iyo taman xuuggana.
17 For Aloha hath ingiven it to their hands that they might do his will, and perform one will to give their kingdom to the wild beast, until shall be fulfilled the words of Aloha.
Hiza, Xoossaa qaalay polettana gakkanaw, entta qofay issino gidana mela entti bantta aysiya wolqqaa do7aas immanaadanne Xoossay qoppidayssa entti oothanaada entta wozanan Xoossay amo wothis.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is the great city which hath kingdom over the kings of the earth.
He neeni be7ida maccasiya sa7a kawota haariya gita katamiw” yaagis.
