Philippians 4
1 Wherefore, my brethren, beloved and tenderly-regarded, my joy and my crown, so stand in our Lord, my beloved.
C'est pourquoi, mes frères, bien-aimés et désirés, ma joie et ma couronne, tenez ferme dans le Seigneur de cette manière, mes bien-aimés.
2 Of Evhodia I beseech, and of Syntika, that one mind they have in our Lord.
J'exhorte Euodia, et j'exhorte Syntyche, à penser de même dans le Seigneur.
3 Also of thee I beseech, my true yokefellow, to be helpful to those who are labouring with me in the gospel, with Klimis, and with the rest of my helpers, whose names are written in the book of life.
Oui, je t'en prie aussi, partenaire fidèle, aide ces femmes, car elles ont travaillé avec moi à la Bonne Nouvelle, avec Clément aussi, et le reste de mes compagnons d'œuvre, dont les noms sont dans le livre de vie.
4 Rejoice in our Lord in all time, and again I say, Rejoice.
Réjouissez-vous toujours dans le Seigneur! Je dirai encore: « Réjouissez-vous! »
5 And let your meekness be known unto every man: our Lord is near.
Que votre douceur soit connue de tous les hommes. Le Seigneur est proche.
6 For nothing be anxious; but in all time, with prayer and with supplication, let your requests be made known before Aloha:
Ne vous inquiétez de rien, mais en toute chose, par la prière et la demande, avec des actions de grâces, faites connaître vos requêtes à Dieu.
7 And the peace of Aloha, which is greater than all knowledge, shall keep your hearts and your minds, through Jeshu Meshiha.
Et la paix de Dieu, qui surpasse toute intelligence, gardera vos cœurs et vos pensées en Jésus-Christ.
8 FINALLY, my brethren, those (things) which are true, and those which are honest, and those which are just, and those which are pure, and those which are lovely, and those which are laudable, and those (which are) works of praise and of celebration, these consider.
Enfin, frères, tout ce qui est vrai, tout ce qui est honorable, tout ce qui est juste, tout ce qui est pur, tout ce qui est beau, tout ce qui est de bonne réputation, s'il y a quelque vertu et s'il y a quelque chose de digne de louange, pensez à ces choses.
9 These which you have learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these perform; and the God of peace will be with you.
Faites ce que vous avez appris, reçu, entendu et vu en moi, et le Dieu de la paix sera avec vous.
10 But greatly do I rejoice in our Lord, that you have begun to care (again) for me, as also you were careful, but you have not had ability.
Mais je me réjouis grandement dans le Seigneur de ce que maintenant enfin vous avez ranimé votre pensée pour moi, à laquelle vous pensiez en effet, mais l'occasion vous manquait.
11 But I have not spoken because I have had need; for I have learned to make sufficient to me that which I have had.
Non que je parle par manque, car j'ai appris, dans quelque état que je sois, à m'en contenter.
12 I know (how) to be abased, I know also how to abound in all; and in every thing I am trained with sufficiency and with hunger, with abundance and with destitution:
Je sais être humilié, et je sais aussi abonder. En toute circonstance, j'ai appris le secret d'être rassasié et d'avoir faim, d'être dans l'abondance et d'être dans le besoin.
13 for every thing I am empowered through the Meshiha who strengtheneth me.
Je peux tout faire par le Christ qui me fortifie.
14 Nevertheless, you have done well to communicate unto my afflictions.
Or, vous avez bien fait de partager mon affliction.
15 Know also, you Philipisoyee, that in the commencement of the gospel, when I went forth from Makedunia, not one of the churches communicated to me in the account of receiving and giving, but you only.
Vous savez vous-mêmes, Philippiens, qu'au début de la Bonne Nouvelle, lorsque je suis parti de Macédoine, aucune assemblée n'a participé avec moi au don et à la réception, sauf vous.
16 For also to Thessalonika one time and twice to my necessity you sent.
Car, même à Thessalonique, vous avez toujours répondu à mes besoins.
17 Not because I seek the gift, but I seek that fruit may multiply unto you.
Non que je recherche le don, mais je recherche le fruit qui s'accroît à votre compte.
18 But I have received every thing, I abound; and am full; and I have accepted all that you sent me by Epaphroditos, a sweet fragrance and a sacrifice, acceptable, which pleaseth Aloha.
Mais moi, j'ai tout et j'abonde. Je suis rassasié, ayant reçu d'Epaphrodite ce qui vient de toi, une odeur agréable, un sacrifice agréable et satisfaisant pour Dieu.
19 And my God shall supply all your necessity, according to his riches in the glory of Jeshu Meshiha.
Mon Dieu pourvoira à tous vos besoins, selon sa richesse en gloire dans le Christ Jésus.
A notre Dieu et Père soit la gloire pour les siècles des siècles! Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Ask for the peace of all the saints who are in Jeshu the Meshiha. The brethren who are with me ask for your peace.
Saluez tout saint en Jésus-Christ. Les frères qui sont avec moi vous saluent.
22 All the saints ask for your peace, especially those who are of the house of Caesar.
Tous les saints vous saluent, surtout ceux qui sont de la maison de César.
23 The grace of our Lord Jeshu the Meshiha be with you all. Amen.
La grâce du Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec vous tous. Amen.
