Matthew 24
1 AND Jeshu went forth from the temple to depart: and his disciples approached him, showing him the building of the temple.
A vyšed Ježíš, bral se z chrámu. I přistoupili učedlníci jeho, aby ukázali jemu stavení chrámové.
2 But he said to them, See you not all these? Amen I say to you, There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone which shall not be destroyed.
Ježíš pak řekl jim: Vidíte-liž tyto všecky věci? Amen pravím vám: Nebude zůstaven tuto kámen na kameni, kterýž by nebyl zbořen.
3 And while Jeshu sat upon the mount of Olives, his disciples drew near and said between themselves and him, Tell us when these things shall be; and what is the sign of thy coming and of the consummation of the world. (aiōn g165)
A když se posadil na hoře Olivetské, přistoupili k němu učedlníci soukromí, řkouce: Pověz nám, kdy to bude, a které znamení příchodu tvého a skonání světa? (aiōn g165)
4 Jeshu answered and said to them, Beware that no man cause you to err;
I odpověděv Ježíš, řekl jim: Vizte, aby vás někdo nesvedl.
5 for many will come in my name and will say, I am the Meshicha; and many will be deceived.
Nebo mnozí přijdou pod jménem mým, řkouce: Jáť jsem Kristus, a svedouť mnohé.
6 But it will be for you to hear wars and the noise of battles; (yet) see that you be not perturbed; for all these will take place, but not yet is the end.
Budete slýchati zajisté boje a pověsti bojů. Hleďtež, abyste se nekormoutili; nebo musí to všecko býti; ale ne i hned bude konec.
7 For people will rise against people, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
Nebo povstane národ proti národu a království proti království, a budou hladové a morové a země třesení po místech.
8 But these are all the beginning of sorrows.
Ale tyto všecky věci jsou počátkové bolestí.
9 Then shall they deliver you to affliction, and shall kill you; and you shall be hated of all peoples on account of my name.
A tehdy vydadí vás v ssoužení, a budou vás mordovati, a budete v nenávisti u všech národů pro jméno mé.
10 Then shall many be offended, and shall hate one another, and betray one another.
A tehdyť se zhorší mnozí, a vespolek se budou zrazovati, a jedni druhých nenáviděti.
11 And many lying prophets shall stand up, and shall delude the multitudes.
A mnozí falešní proroci povstanou, a svedou mnohé.
12 And because of the abounding of iniquity, the love of many will languish.
A že rozmnožena bude nepravost, ustydne láska mnohých.
13 But he who shall persevere unto the end, -he shall live.
Ale kdož by setrval až do konce, ten spasen bude.
14 And this annunciation of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony for all nations; and then will come the end.
A bude kázáno toto evangelium království po všem světě, na svědectví všechněm národům, a tehdáž přijde skonání.
15 But when you see the unclean sign of desolation which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, that it standeth in the holy place; -he who readeth let him understand!-
Protož když uzříte ohavnost zpuštění, předpověděnou od Daniele proroka, ana stojí na místě svatém, (kdo čte, rozuměj, )
16 then let those who are in Jehud escape to the mountain.
Tehdáž ti, kteříž by byli v Judstvu, nechť utekou na hory.
17 And let not him who is on the roof descend to take what his house;
A kdo na střeše, nesstupuj, aby něco vzal z domu svého.
18 nor he who is in the field turn back to take his vestment.
A kdo na poli, nevracuj se zase, aby vzal roucha svá.
19 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!
Běda pak těhotným a těm, kteréž kojí v těch dnech.
20 But pray that your flight may not be in the winter, nor on the shabath.
Protož modlte se, aby utíkání vaše nebylo v zimě aneb v svátek.
21 For then shall be the great affliction, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be (again).
Nebo bude tehdáž ssoužení veliké, jakéhož nebylo od počátku světa až do té chvíle, aniž kdy potom bude.
22 And unless those days be cut short, none could live of all flesh: but on account of the chosen those days shall be cut short.
A byť nebyli ukráceni dnové ti, nebyl by spasen žádný člověk. Ale pro vyvolené ukráceni budou ti dnové.
23 Then if any one shall say to you, Lo, here is the Meshicha, or there; believe them not.
Tehdy řekl-li by vám kdo: Aj, tutoť jest Kristus, aneb tamto, nevěřte.
24 For there shall arise false Meshichas and prophets of untruth; and they shall give forth magnificent signs, so as to seduce, if possible, the chosen also.
Nebo povstanou falešní Kristové a falešní proroci, a činiti budou divy veliké a zázraky, tak že by svedli, (by možné bylo, ) také i vyvolené.
25 (observe! I have told you before, )
Aj, předpověděl jsem vám.
26 If therefore they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: or, Behold, he is in the inner chamber; believe not.
Protož řeknou-liť vám: Aj, na poušti jest, nevycházejte. Aj, v skrýších, nevěřte.
27 As the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen unto the west, so shall be the advent of the Son of man.
Nebo jakož blesk vychází od východu slunce, a ukazuje se až na západ, tak bude i příchod Syna člověka.
28 But where the body shall be, there will be assembled the eagles.
Nebo kdežkoli bude tělo, tuť se shromáždí i orlice.
29 But immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun will become dark, and the moon show not her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven be commoved.
A hned po ssoužení těch dnů slunce se zatmí, a měsíc nedá světla svého, a hvězdy budou padati s nebe, a moci nebeské budou se pohybovati.
30 And then shall be seen the standard of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the generations of the earth shall wail, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory.
Tehdážť se ukáže znamení Syna člověka na nebi, a tehdyť budou kvíliti všecka pokolení země, a uzříť Syna člověka přicházejícího na oblacích nebeských s mocí a slávou velikou.
31 And he shall send his angels with the great trumpet, and they shall gather the chosen who are his from the four winds and from the ends of heaven.
Kterýž pošle anděly své s hlasem velikým trouby, i shromáždíť vyvolené jeho ode čtyř větrů, a od končin nebes až do končin jejich.
32 But from the fig-tree learn a parable: As soon as her branches are soft, and they put forth her leaves, you know that summer draweth nigh.
Od stromu pak fíkového naučte se podobenství tomuto: Když již ratolest jeho odmladne, a lístí se pučí, porozumíváte, že blízko jest léto.
33 So also, when all these are seen, you know that it cometh to the door.
Takéž i vy, když byste uzřeli toto všecko, vězte, žeť blízko jest a ve dveřích.
34 Amen I say to you, that this race shall not have passed away until all these shall take place.
Amen pravím vám, že nepomine věk tento, až se tyto všecky věci stanou.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away.
Nebe a země pominou, ale slova má nikoli nepominou.
36 BUT concerning that day and concerning that hour, no man knoweth; neither the angels of heaven, but the Father only.
O tom pak dni a hodině té žádný neví, ani andělé nebeští, jediné sám Otec můj.
37 But as the days of Nûch, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
Ale jakož bylo za dnů Noé, takť bude i příchod Syna člověka.
38 For as before the deluge they were eating and drinking, taking wives and giving to husbands, until the day that Nûch went into the ark;
Nebo jakož za dnů těch před potopou žrali a pili, ženili se a vdávaly se, až do toho dne, když Noé všel do korábu,
39 and knew not till the deluge came, and carried them all away; so shalt be the advent of the Son of man.
A nezvěděli, až přišla potopa, a zachvátila všecky: takť bude i příští Syna člověka.
40 Then two shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and one be left.
Tehdyť dva budou na poli; jeden bude vzat, a druhý zanechán.
41 Two shall be grinding in the mill; one is taken, and one is left.
Dvě budou mleti ve mlýně; jedna bude vzata, a druhá zanechána.
42 Be wakeful therefore, because ye know not in what hour cometh your Lord.
Bdětež tedy, poněvadž nevíte, v kterou hodinu Pán váš přijíti má.
43 But this know; that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would have been watching, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
Toto pak vězte, že byť věděl hospodář, v které by bdění zloděj měl přijíti, bděl by zajisté, a nedal by podkopati domu svého.
44 Wherefore be ye also prepared, because in the hour that ye expect not shall come the Son of man.
Protož i vy buďte hotovi; nebo v tu hodinu, v kterouž se nenadějete, Syn člověka přijde.
45 WHO is the servant faithful and wise whom his lord shall appoint over the children of his house, to give every one his meat in his time?
Kdož tedy jest ten služebník věrný a opatrný, kteréhož ustanovil pán jeho nad čeledí svou, aby jim dával pokrm v čas?
46 Blessed is that servant, who, when cometh his lord, shall be found doing so.
Blahoslavený služebník ten, kteréhož přijda pán jeho, nalezl by, an tak činí.
47 Amen I say to you, that he will establish him over all that he hath.
Amen pravím vám, že nade vším statkem svým ustanoví jej.
48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord withholdeth to come;
Jestliže by pak řekl zlý služebník ten v srdci svém: Prodlívá pán můj přijíti,
49 and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall be eating and drinking with drunkards;
I počal by bíti spoluslužebníky, jísti pak a píti s opilci:
50 the lord of that servant shall come in a day that he computeth not, and in an hour which he doth not know,
Přijdeť pán služebníka toho v den, v kterýž se nenaděje, a v hodinu, v kterouž neví.
51 and shall sunder him, and set his lot with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I oddělíť jej, a díl jeho položí s pokrytci. Tamť bude pláč a škřipení zubů.
