Matthew 19
1 AND it was that when Jeshu had finished these words, he removed from Galila and came into the confines of Jehud beyond Jurdan.
穌講完這些話以後，就離開加利肋亞，來到約但對岸的猶太境內。
2 And great multitudes came after him, and he healed them there.
有多群眾跟隨衪，衪就在那裏醫好了他們。
3 And the Pharishee approached him, and, tempting him, propounded to him whether it was lawful for a man to send away his wife for every cause.
有些法利賽人來到衪跟前，試探衪說：「許不許人為了任何緣故，休自己的妻子？ 」
4 But he answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who created from the beginning, male and female hath made them?
衪回答說：「你們沒有念過：那創造自起初就造了他們一男一女；
5 And he said, On this account a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
且說：『為此，人要離開父親和母親，依附自己的妻子，兩人成為一體』的話嗎？
6 Wherefore they were not two, but one body. That, therefore, which Aloha hath conjoined, man shall not separate.
這樣，他們不是兩個，而是一體了。為此，凡天主所結合的，人不可拆散。」
7 They said to him, Why then did Musha direct that he should give a writing of dismissal and send her away?
他們對衪說：「那麼，為什麼梅瑟還吩咐人下休書休妻呢？ 」
8 He said to them, Musha, on account of the hardness of your heart, permitted you to send away your wives; but from the beginning it was not so.
耶穌對他們說：「梅瑟為了你們的心硬，才准許你們妻，但起初並不是這樣。
9 And I say to you that whosoever shall forsake his wife who is not adulterous, and take another, committeth adultery; and whosoever taketh the deserted one, committeth adultery.
如今我對你們說：「無論誰休妻，除非因為姘居，而另娶一個，就是犯奸淫。」
10 His disciples say to him, If thus be the case between the man and the woman, it is not expedient to take a wife.
門徒對衪說：「人同妻子的關係，如果是這樣，倒不如不娶的好。」
11 But he said to them, Not every man is sufficient for this doctrine, but he to whom it is given.
耶穌對他們說：「這話不是人人都能領悟的，只有那些得了恩賜的人，才能領悟。
12 For there are some eunuchs who from their mother's womb are born so; and there are some eunuchs who by men are made eunuchs; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever is capable of receiving (this), let him receive (it).
因為有些閹人，從母胎生來就是這樣，有些閹人，是被人閹的；有些閹人，卻是為了天國。能領悟的，就領悟吧！」
13 Then they brought to him children, that he should put his hand upon them and pray. And his disciples forbad them.
那時，有人給耶穌領來一些小孩子。要衪給召們覆手祈禱，門徒卻責斥他們。
14 But Jeshu himself said, Suffer children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of those who are as these, is the kingdom of heaven.
耶穌說：「你們讓小孩子來吧！不要阻止他們到我跟前來，因為天國正是屬於這樣的人。」
15 And he put his hand upon them, and went thence.
耶穌給他們覆了手，就從那裏走了。
16 AND one came and approached and said to him, Good teacher, what of good shall I do, that I may have the life of eternity? (aiōnios g166)
有一個人來到耶穌跟前說：師傅，我該行什麼『善』為得永生？ 」 (aiōnios g166)
17 But he said to him, Why dost thou call me good? none is good but one, Aloha. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
耶穌對他說：「你為什麼問我關於『善？ 』善的只一個。如果你願意進入生命，就該遵守誡命。」
18 He said to him, Which? Jeshu answered him, Thou shalt not kill, neither commit adultery, nor steal, neither shalt thou witness false testimony;
他對耶穌說：「什麼誡命﹖」耶穌說：「就是：不可殺人，不可奸淫，不可偷盜，不可作假見證，
19 and honour thy father and thy mother, and love thy neighbour as thyself.
應孝敬父母，應愛你的近人，如愛你自己。」
20 The young man saith to him, These all have I kept from my childhood: how am I deficient?
那少年耶穌說：「這一切我都遵守了，還缺少什麼？ 」
21 Jeshu saith to him, If thou wilt become perfect, go, sell thy possession and give to the poor, and there shall be for thee a treasure in heaven: and come after me.
耶穌對他說：「你若願意是成全的，去！變賣你所有的，施拾給窮人，你必有寶藏在天上；然後來跟隨我。」
22 But he, the young man, heard this word, and went away with sadness, for he had great property.
少年人一聽這話，就憂悶的走了因為他擁有許多產業。
23 But Jeshu said to his disciples, Amen I say unto you, that it is difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
於是耶穌對門徒說：「我實在告訴你們：富人難進天國。
24 Again I say to you, that it is easier for a camel to enter through the aperture of a needle, than the rich to enter into the kingdom of Aloha.
失再告訴你們：駱駝穿過針孔，比富人進天國還容易。」
25 But the disciples when they heard were greatly hurt, saying, Who then can be saved?
門徒們聽了，就非常驚異說：「這樣，誰還能得救呢？」
26 Jeshu, beholding them, said, With the sons of men it is not possible; but with Aloha every thing is possible.
耶穌耶穌注視他們說：「為人這是不可能的，但為天主，一切都是可能的。」
27 THEN answered Kipha and said to him, Behold, we have abandoned every thing, and have come after thee: what then shall there be for us?
那時，伯多祿開口對衪說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，跟隨了你；那麼，將來我們可得到什麼呢？ 」
28 Jeshu saith to them, Amen I say to you, that you who have come after me, in the new world, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve seats, and shall judge the twelve tribes of Isroel.
耶穌對他們說：「我實在你們，你們這些跟隨我的人，在重生的世代，人子坐在自己光榮的寶座上時，你們也要坐在十二寶座上，審判以色列十二支派；
29 And every man who hath relinquished houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, on account of my name, shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall inherit the life of eternity, (aiōnios g166)
並且，誰為我的名，捨棄了房屋，或兄弟、或姐妹、或父親、或母親、或妻子、或兒女、或田地的，必要領取百倍的賞報，並承受永生。 (aiōnios g166)
30 Many however are first who shall be last, and the last first.
有許多在先的要成為在後的，在後的要成為在先的。
