Matthew 11
1 AND it was that when Jeshu had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he removed from thence to teach and preach in their cities.
ଯୀଶୁ ଆପଣା ବାର ଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେବାର ସମାପ୍ତ କଲା ପରେ ଗାଲିଲୀର ନଗରସମୂହରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବାକୁ ଓ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବାକୁ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାରିଗଲେ।
2 But Juchanon, when he heard in the house of the bound the works of the Meshicha, sent by his disciples,
ଏଥିମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ କର୍ମର ବିବରଣ କାରାଗାରରେ ଶୁଣି ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରି ପଠାଇଲେ,
3 and said to him, Art thou He that cometh, or another are we to expect?
ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ହେବ, ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି କି ଆପଣ, ଅବା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିବୁ?
4 Jeshu answered and said to them, Go, recount to Juchanon these things which you hear and see;
ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାଇ, ଯାହା ଯାହା ଶୁଣିଅଛ ଓ ଦେଖିଅଛ, ସେହିସବୁ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ;
5 (that) the blind see, the lame are walking, the lepers are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead arise, and the poor are evangelized;
ଅନ୍ଧମାନେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଖଞ୍ଜମାନେ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, କୁଷ୍ଠରୋଗୀମାନେ ଶୁଚି ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ବଧିରମାନେ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରନ୍ତି, ମୃତମାନେ ଉତ୍ଥାପିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହୁଏ;
6 and blessed is he who shall not be offended with me.
ଆଉ, ଯେ କେହି ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ବିଘ୍ନର କାରଣ ନ ପାଏ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।”
7 But when they were gone, Jeshu began to speak to the assembly concerning Juchanon: What went you forth into the waste to see? a reed that by the wind was shaken?
ସେମାନେ ଚାଲିଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲ? କଅଣ ପବନରେ ଦୋହଲୁଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ନଳ?
8 And if not, what went you forth to see? a man clothed in soft vestments? Behold, they who are softly clothed are in the house of kings.
ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲ? କଅଣ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧିଥିବା ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ? ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦରେ ଥାଆନ୍ତି।
9 And if not, what went you forth to see? a prophet? I tell you, Yes; and more than a prophet.
ତାହା ନ ହେଲେ କି ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲ? କଅଣ ଜଣେ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ? ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ;
10 For this is he concerning whom it is written, Behold, I send my angel before thy face, to prepare the way before thee.
ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହା ଲେଖାଅଛି, ‘ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୂତକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗରେ ପଠାଉଅଛୁ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ, ଏ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି।’
11 Amen I say to you, there hath not arisen among them born of women who greater than Juchanon the Baptizer: yet, the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଗର୍ଭଜାତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମହାନ କେହି ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି; ତଥାପି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଯେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରତମ, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମହାନ।
12 But from the days of Juchanon the Baptizer until now, the kingdom of the heavens by violence is taken, and the violent ones seize it.
ଆଉ, ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ସମୟଠାରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟ ବଳରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛି; ପୁଣି, ବଳରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣକାରୀମାନେ ପରାକ୍ରମରେ ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until Juchanon;
କାରଣ ସମସ୍ତ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ସମୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଭାବବାଣୀ କରୁଥିଲେ।
14 and if you are willing, receive, that he is Elia who was to come.
ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତେବେ ଯେଉଁ ଏଲୀୟଙ୍କ ଆସିବାର ଅଛି, ଏ ସେହି।
15 Whoever hath ears to hear, he shall hear.
ଯାହାର କାନ ଅଛି, ସେ ଶୁଣୁ।
16 BUT to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children who sit in the public place, and cry to their companions,
କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କାହା ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପୁରୁଷର ତୁଳନା କରିବି? ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ହାଟବଜାରରେ ବସି ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକି କହନ୍ତି,
17 and say, We have sung to you, and you have not danced; we have wailed unto you, and you have not mourned.
‘ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ବଂଶୀ ବଜାଇଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନାଚିଲ ନାହିଁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଳାପ କଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଛାତିରେ ମାରି ହେଲ ନାହିଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପୁରୁଷ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରି।’
18 For Juchanon came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
କାରଣ ଯୋହନ ଆସି ଭୋଜନପାନ କଲେ ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ଲୋକେ କହନ୍ତି, ‘ସେ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ।’
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, See a man a devourer, a wine-drinker, a friend of tribute-takers and of sinners. But justified is wisdom by her servants.
ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆସି ଭୋଜନପାନ କରନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଲୋକେ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଏ ଜଣେ ପେଟୁକ ଓ ମଦୁଆ, କରଗ୍ରାହୀ ଓ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧୁ; ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆପଣା କର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯଥାର୍ଥ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ହେଲା।”
20 Then began Jeshu to reproach those cities in which were done many of his miracles, and which did not repent,
ସେତେବେଳେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ନଗରରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, ସେହି ସେହି ନଗରକୁ ସେ ତିରସ୍କାର କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ମନ-ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ନ ଥିଲେ।
21 saying, Woe to thee, Korazin! woe to thee, Bethtsaida! for if in Tsur and in Tsaidon those miracles had been done which have been performed in you, they would a while ago in sackcloth and ashes have repented.
“ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କୋରାଜୀନ୍, ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର ବେଥ୍ସାଇଦା, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ମହତର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଅଛି, ସେହିସବୁ ଯେବେ ସୋର ଓ ସୀଦୋନ ସହରମାନଙ୍କରେ କରାଯାଇଥାଆନ୍ତା, ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ସମୟ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଅଖା ପିନ୍ଧି ପାଉଁଶରେ ବସି ମନ-ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିଥାଆନ୍ତେ।
22 But I say to you, that for Tsur and Tsaidon it shall be more tolerable in the day of judgment than for you.
ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦଶା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସୋର ଓ ସୀଦୋନର ଦଶା ସହନୀୟ ହେବ।
23 And thou, Kaphernachum, who unto heaven art exalted, unto Shiul shalt be brought down; for if in Sadum had been done those miracles which have been done in thee, it would have stood until this day. (Hadēs g86)
ଆଉ ରେ କଫର୍ନାହୂମ, ତୁ କଅଣ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେବୁ? ପାତାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୋର ଅଧୋଗତି ହେବ, କାରଣ ତୋʼ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ମହତର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଅଛି, ସେହିସବୁ ଯେବେ ସଦୋମରେ କରାଯାଇଥାଆନ୍ତା, ତେବେ ତାହା ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିଥାଆନ୍ତା। (Hadēs g86)
24 But I tell you that for the land of Sadum it shall be more tolerable in the day of judgment than for thee.
ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ତୋର ଦଶା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସଦୋମ ଦେଶର ଦଶା ସହନୀୟ ହେବ।”
25 IN that time Jeshu answered and said, I praise thee, my Father, the Lord of the heavens and of the earth, that thou hast concealed these (things) from the wise and prudent, but hast revealed them unto little children.
ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ପିତଃ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଗୁପ୍ତ ରଖି ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲ, ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ତୁତିବାଦ କରୁଅଛି;
26 Yes, my Father, for thus was it pleasing before thee!
ହଁ, ପିତଃ, କାରଣ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ସନ୍ତୋଷର ବିଷୟ ହେଲା।
27 All things are delivered to me from my Father; and no man knoweth the Son but the Father; also the Father no man knoweth, except the Son, and he (to) whom the Son pleaseth to reveal (him).
ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କ କର୍ତ୍ତୃକ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ କେହି ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ, କେବଳ ପିତା ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ପିତାଙ୍କୁ କେହି ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ, କେବଳ ପୁତ୍ର ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ର ଯାହା ପାଖରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଜାଣେ।
28 Come unto me, all you (who) are wearied and bearing burdens, and I will give you rest.
ହେ ପରିଶ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଓ ଭାରଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ, ମୋʼ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେବି।
29 Bear my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am peaceful and lowly in my heart, and you shall find repose for your souls.
ମୋହର ଜୁଆଳି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଉପରେ ଘେନ, ପୁଣି, ମୋʼ ନିକଟରୁ ଶିଖ, କାରଣ, ମୁଁ ମୃଦୁଶୀଳ ଓ ନମ୍ରଚିତ୍ତ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଆତ୍ମାରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପାଇବ;
30 For my yoke is kindly, and my burden is light.
ଯେଣୁ ମୋହର ଜୁଆଳି ସହଜ ଓ ମୋହର ଭାର ଉଶ୍ୱାସ।”
