Luke 21
1 Jeshu looked at those rich (persons) who were throwing into the house of treasure their oblations.
Og da han så op, fikk han se de rike legge sine gaver i tempelkisten.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow who threw in two shomonee.
Og han så en fattig enke legge to skjerver i den.
3 And he said, Truth I say to you, That this poor widow hath thrown in more than every one:
Da sa han: Sannelig sier jeg eder: Denne fattige enke har lagt mere enn alle.
4 for all those from what abounded to them have thrown into the house of the oblation of Aloha: but this from her penury all that she possessed hath she thrown in.
For alle disse la sine gaver av sin overflod; men hun la av sin fattigdom alt det hun hadde å leve av.
5 AND as some spake of the temple, (with) what beautiful stones and gifts it was adorned, Jeshu said to them,
Og da nogen sa om templet at det var prydet med fagre stener og tempelgaver, sa han:
6 These that you see, the days shall come (when) of them there will not be found a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed.
Dette som I ser - de dager skal komme da det ikke skal levnes sten på sten som ikke skal brytes ned.
7 And they inquired of him, and said, Malphona, when shall these be? and what is the sign that these are nigh to be?
Da spurte de ham og sa: Mester! når skal da dette skje? og hvad skal tegnet være når dette skal skje?
8 But he said to them, Beware lest you be seduced: for many will come in my name, and will say, I am the Meshicha; and the time hath drawn nigh: but go not you after them.
Og han sa: Se til at I ikke føres vill! for mange skal komme i mitt navn og si: Det er mig, og: Tiden er nær. Gå ikke efter dem!
9 And when you hear of wars and commotions, fear not: for these are first to be; but not yet cometh the end.
Og når I får høre om krig og oprør, da la eder ikke skremme! for dette må først skje, men enden kommer ikke med det samme.
10 For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
Da sa han til dem: Folk skal reise sig mot folk og rike mot rike,
11 and great earthquakes will be in divers places, and famines, and plagues; and there will be portents, and terrors, and great signs from the heavens will appear, and great tempests shall there be.
og store jordskjelv skal det være og hunger og sott både her og der, og det skal skje forferdelige ting og store tegn fra himmelen.
12 But before all these, they will lay hands upon you, and persecute you, and deliver you up to the synagogues, and to the house of the bound. And they will bring you before kings and governors on account of my name.
Men før alt dette skjer, skal de legge hånd på eder og forfølge eder og overgi eder til synagoger og fengsler, og I skal føres frem for konger og landshøvdinger for mitt navns skyld;
13 And it shall be to you for a testimony.
det skal falle ut til godt vidnesbyrd for eder.
14 But lay it up in your hearts that you may not be learned for the answer;
Legg eder derfor på hjerte at I ikke forut skal grunde på hvorledes I skal forsvare eder!
15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries cannot stand against.
for jeg skal gi eder munn og visdom som alle eders motstandere ikke kan motstå eller motsi.
16 But your fathers, and your brethren, and your kinsfolk, and your friends will betray you, and some of you they shall put to death.
Men I skal forrådes endog av foreldre og brødre og frender og venner, og de skal volde nogen av eder døden,
17 And you will be hated of all men on account of my name:
og I skal hates av alle for mitt navns skyld.
18 yet a hair of your head shall not perish,
Og ikke et hår på eders hode skal gå tapt.
19 but in your perseverance you shall possess your souls.
Vær tålmodige, så skal I vinne eders sjeler!
20 But when you see Urishlem encompassed by an army, then know that its destruction hath drawn nigh.
Men når I ser Jerusalem bli kringsatt av krigshærer, da skal I vite at dets ødeleggelse er nær.
21 Then let them who are in Jihud escape to the mountain, and they who are within her escape, and let not them who are in the country places enter into her.
Da må de som er i Judea, fly til fjells, og de som er inne i byen, må gå ut, og de som er ute på landet, ikke gå inn i den;
22 For those (will be) the days of retribution, that all which is written may be fulfilled.
for dette er gjengjeldelsens dager, forat alt det som skrevet er, skal bli opfylt.
23 But woe to those who are with child and to those who suckle in those days! for there will be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Men ve de fruktsommelige, og dem som gir die, i de dager! for stor nød skal være på jorden, og vrede over dette folk,
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led captive into every place, and Urishlem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until shall be fulfilled the times of the Gentiles.
og de skal falle for sverds egg og føres fangne til alle folkeslag, og Jerusalem skal ligge nedtrådt av hedninger, inntil hedningenes tid er til ende.
25 And there will be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and on earth distress of nations, and smiting of hands from astonishment at the voice of the sea,
Og det skal skje tegn i sol og måne og stjerner, og på jorden skal folkene engstes i fortvilelse når hav og brenninger bruser,
26 the commotion hurrying forth the souls of the sons of men from fear of what is about to come upon the earth; and the powers of the heavens shall be commoved.
mens mennesker faller i avmakt av redsel og gru for det som kommer over jorderike; for himmelens krefter skal rokkes.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with power and great glory.
Og da skal de se Menneskesønnen komme i skyen med kraft og megen herlighet.
28 But when these things begin to be, take courage, and lift up your heads, because your redemption hath drawn nigh.
Men når dette begynner å skje, da rett eder op og løft eders hoder! for eders forløsning stunder til.
29 AND he spake to them a parable, Behold the fig-tree and all the trees;
Og han sa en lignelse til dem: Se på fikentreet og alle trær:
30 when they bud forth, immediately from them you know that summer hath drawn nigh.
Så snart de springer ut og I ser det, da vet I av eder selv at nu er sommeren nær.
31 Thus also you, when you see that these are, know that nigh is the kingdom of Aloha.
Således skal også I, når I ser dette skje, vite at Guds rike er nær.
32 Amen I say to you, That this race shall not pass away till all these things shall be.
Sannelig sier jeg eder: Denne slekt skal ingenlunde forgå før det skjer alt sammen.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Himmel og jord skal forgå, men mine ord skal ingenlunde forgå.
34 But take heed to yourselves, that at any time your hearts be not heavy with excess and drunkenness, and the care of the world, and unawares shall come upon you that day.
Men vokt eder at ikke eders hjerte nogen tid tynges av rus og svir og timelige bekymringer, så hin dag kommer uventet over eder som en snare!
35 For as a net it will overtake all them who dwell upon the faces of the whole earth.
for den skal komme over alle dem som bor over den hele jord.
36 Be therefore wakeful at all time, and pray that you may be worthy to escape from those things that are about to be, and that you may stand before the Son of man.
Men våk hver tid og stund, og bed, så I kan være i stand til å undfly alt dette som skal komme, og til å bli stående for Menneskesønnen!
37 So in the day (time) he taught in the temple, and at night he went forth and lodged in the mount which is called the Place of Olives.
Om dagene lærte han i templet, men om nettene gikk han ut av byen og overnattet på det berg som kalles Oljeberget.
38 And all the people were early with him at the temple to hear his word.
Og alt folket kom tidlig om morgenen til ham i templet for å høre ham.
