John 12
1 But Jeshu six days before the petscha came to Bethania, where Loozar was, he whom Jeshu had raised from among the dead.
१मग येशू वल्हांडणाच्या सहा दिवस आधी बेथानीस आला आणि ज्या लाजराला येशूने मरण पावलेल्यातून उठवले होते तो तेथे होता.
2 And they made him there a supper and Martha served, and Loozar was one of those who reclined with him.
२म्हणून त्यांनी तेथे त्याच्यासाठी रात्रीचे भोजन केले आणि मार्था वाढीत होती. पण त्याच्याबरोबर भोजनास बसलेल्यात लाजर हा एक होता.
3 But Mariam took a vase of balsam of the finest nard, great in price, and anointed the feet of Jeshu, and wiped with her hair his feet, and the house was filled with the fragrance of the balsam.
३तेव्हा मरीयेने अर्धा शेर, शुद्ध जटामांसीचे, अतिमोलवान सुवासिक तेल घेऊन येशूच्या पायांना लावून आपल्या केसांनी त्याचे पाय पुसले; आणि तेलाच्या सुवासाने घर भरून गेले.
4 And Jihuda Scarjuta, one of his disciples, he who would betray him said,
४तेव्हा, त्याच्या शिष्यांतला एक, त्यास धरून देणार होता तो यहूदा इस्कार्योत म्हणाला,
5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred dinoreen, and given to the poor?
५“हे सुवासिक तेल तीनशे चांदीच्या नाण्यांस विकून ते गरीबास का दिले नाही?”
6 But this he said, not because for the poor he had care, but because he was a thief, and the purse was with him, and whatever fell into it he carried.
६त्यास गरिबांची काळजी होती म्हणून तो हे बोलला असे नाही, तर तो चोर होता म्हणून हे बोलला. त्याच्याजवळ डबी होती आणि तिच्यात जे टाकण्यांत येई ते तो चोरून घेई, म्हणून तो असे बोलला.
7 But Jeshu said, Let her alone. For the day of my burial had she kept it.
७यावरुन येशूने म्हटले, “तिच्या वाटेस जाऊ नका. मला पुरण्याच्या दिवसासाठी तिने हे राखून ठेवले आहे.
8 In all time the poor you have with you; but me you have not at all time.
८कारण गरीब नेहमी तुमच्याजवळ आहेत, पण मी नेहमी तुमच्याजवळ आहे असे नाही.”
9 And a great company of Jihudoyee who were there heard Jeshu. And they had come not on Jeshu's account only, but also to see Loozar, he whom he had raised from among the dead.
९तो तेथे आहे असे यहूद्यातील पुष्कळ लोकांस कळले आणि केवळ येशूकरता नाही, तर ज्याला त्याने मरण पावलेल्यातून उठवले होते त्या लाजरालाही आपण पाहावे म्हणून ते आले.
10 But the chief priests were minded to slay Loozar also,
१०पण मुख्य याजकांनी आपण लाजरालाही ठार मारावे असा विचार केला.
11 because many of the Jihudoyee on account of him had gone and believed in Jeshu.
११कारण त्याच्यामुळे पुष्कळ यहूदी त्यांना सोडून येशूवर विश्वास ठेवत होते.
12 THE day after, a great gathering of those who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jeshu was coming to Urishlem,
१२दुसर्‍या दिवशी सणास आलेले पुष्कळ लोक येशू यरूशलेम शहरास येत आहे असे ऐकून,
13 took branches of palms, and went forth to meet him. And they cried out, saying, Aushana! Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
१३खजुरीच्या झावळ्या घेऊन त्याच्या भेटीस घ्यायला बाहेर निघाले आणि गजर करीत म्हणाले, “होसान्ना! प्रभूच्या नावाने येणारा इस्राएलाचा राजा!” धन्यवादित असो.
14 And Jeshu caused to be found an ass, and sat upon him; as it is written,
१४आणि येशूला एक शिंगरु मिळाल्यावर तो त्यावर बसला.
15 Fear not, daughter of Tseun: behold, thy King cometh to thee, and riding on a colt, the foal of an ass.
१५‘हे सियोनेच्या कन्ये, भिऊ नको, पाहा, तुझा राजा गाढवीच्या शिंगरावर बसून येत आहे.’ या शास्त्रलेखाप्रमाणे हे घडले.
16 But these the disciples knew not at that time; but when Jeshu was glorified, the disciples remembered that these were written concerning him, and (that) these (things) they had done unto him.
१६या गोष्टी तर त्याच्या शिष्यांना पहिल्याने समजल्या नव्हत्या, पण येशूचे गौरव झाल्यावर, त्यांना आठवण झाली की, त्याच्याविषयी या गोष्टी लिहिल्या होत्या आणि लोकांनी त्याच्यासाठी असे केले होते.
17 But the assembly that was with him when he called Loozar from the sepulchre, and raised him from among the dead, bare witness.
१७त्याने लाजराला कबरेतून बोलावून मरण पावलेल्यातून उठवले, त्यावेळेस जो लोकसमुदाय त्याच्याबरोबर होता त्यांने त्याच्याविषयी साक्ष दिली.
18 And on account of this, great multitudes went forth to receive him; for they had heard that this sign he had done.
१८त्याने हे चिन्ह केले होते असे त्यांनी ऐकले म्हणूनही लोक त्यास भेटावयास गेले.
19 But the Pharishee said one to another, See you that you do not profit any thing! For, behold, the whole world is gone after him.
१९मग परूशी एकमेकांस म्हणाले, “तुमचे काहीच चालत नाही, हे तुम्ही पाहता; पाहा, जग त्याच्यामागे चालले आहे.”
20 Now there were also from the Gentiles men who had ascended to worship at the feast.
२०सणांत उपासना करावयास आलेल्या लोकांपैकी काही लोक ग्रीक होते.
21 These came and drew near to Philipos, who was of Beth-tsaida of Galila; and they requested of him, and said to him, Mari, we desire to see Jeshu.
२१त्यांनी गालील प्रांतातील बेथसैदाकर फिलिप्प याच्याजवळ येऊन विनंती केली की, “साहेब, येशूला भेटावे अशी आमची इच्छा आहे.”
22 And Philipos came and told Andreas, and Andreas and Philipos told Jeshu.
२२फिलिप्पाने येऊन अंद्रियाला सांगितले; अंद्रिया व फिलिप्प यांनी येऊन येशूला सांगितले.
23 BUT Jeshu answered and said to them, The hour hath come that the Son of man may be glorified.
२३येशूने त्यांना म्हटले, “मनुष्याच्या पुत्राचे गौरव होण्याची वेळ आली आहे.
24 Amen, amen, I say to you, That a grain of wheat if it fall not and die in the earth remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth much fruits.
२४मी तुम्हास खरे खरे सांगतो, गव्हाचा दाणा जमिनीत पडून मरण पावला नाही, तर तो एकटाच राहतो; आणि मरण पावला तर तो पुष्कळ पीक देतो.
25 He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he who hateth his life in this world shall keep it to the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
२५जो आपल्या जीवावर प्रीती करतो तो त्यास मुकेल आणि जो या जगांत आपल्या जीवाचा द्वेष करतो तो त्याचे सार्वकालिक जीवनासाठी रक्षण करील. (aiōnios g166)
26 If any man serve me, let him come after me; and where I am, there shall be also my servant: whoever serveth me, him will my Father honour.
२६जर कोणी माझी सेवा करतो तर त्याने मला अनुसरावे, म्हणजे जेथे मी आहे तेथे माझा सेवकही असेल. जर कोणी माझी सेवा करतो तर पिता त्यास मान करील.
27 Now my soul, behold it is commoved; and what shall I say? My Father, deliver me from this hour:
२७आता माझा जीव अस्वस्थ होत आहे आणि मी काय बोलू? हे पित्या, तू या घटकेपासून माझे रक्षण कर. पण मी या कारणासाठीच या घटकेत आलो आहे.
28 but on account of this have I come unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. And the voice was heard from heaven, I have glorified, and again I glorify.
२८हे पित्या, तू आपल्या नावाचे गौरव कर” तेव्हा आकाशवाणी झाली, “मी ते गौरविले आहे आणि पुन्हाही गौरवीन.”
29 And the company who stood, heard, and they said there was thunder. But others said, An angel spake with him.
२९तेव्हा जे लोक सभोवती उभे होते आणि ज्यांनी हे ऐकले ते म्हणाले, “मेघगर्जना झाली.” दुसरे म्हणाले, “त्याच्याशी देवदूत बोलला.”
30 Jeshu answered and said to them, Not on my account was this voice, but on your account.
३०येशूने त्यांना उत्तर देऊन म्हटले, “ही वाणी माझ्यासाठी झाली नाही तर तुमच्यासाठी झाली आहे.
31 Now is the judgment of this world; now is the ruler of this world cast out.
३१आता या जगाचा न्याय होतो, आता या जगाचा शासक बाहेर टाकला जाईल.
32 And I, when I have been lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
३२आणि मला जर पृथ्वीपासून उंच केले तर मी सर्वांना माझ्याकडे आकर्षून घेईन.”
33 But this he said to show by what death he should die.
३३तो तर आपण कोणत्या मरणाने मरणार पाहिजे हे सुचविण्याकरिता हे बोलला.
34 The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Meshicha for ever abideth: how sayest thou that the Son of man is to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man? (aiōn g165)
३४लोकांनी त्यास विचारले, ख्रिस्त सर्वकाळ राहील असे आम्ही नियमशास्त्रांतून ऐकले आहे, तर “मनुष्याच्या पुत्राला उंच केले पाहिजे” असे आपण कसे म्हणता? हा मनुष्याचा पुत्र आहे तरी कोण? (aiōn g165)
35 Jeshu saith to them, A little further time is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And whoever walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
३५यावरुन येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “आणखी थोडा वेळ तुमच्याबरोबर प्रकाश आहे; तुम्हास प्रकाश आहे तोपर्यंत चाला; यासाठी कि अंधकाराने तुम्हास गाठू नये; कारण जो अंधकारात चालतो त्यास आपण कोठे जातो हे कळत नाही.
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that the sons of light you may become. These spake Jeshu, and went (and) concealed himself from them.
३६तुम्ही प्रकाशाचे पुत्र व्हावे म्हणून तुम्हाजवळ प्रकाश आहे तोपर्यंत प्रकाशावर विश्वास ठेवा.” येशू या गोष्टी बोलला आणि तेथून निघून जाऊन त्यांच्यापासून गुप्त राहिला.
37 Yet though all these signs he had done before them, they believed not in him:
३७त्याने त्यांच्यासमोर इतकी चिन्हे केली असतांही त्यांनी त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवला नाही;
38 that the word of the prophet Eshaia might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who hath believed our report, And the arm of the Lord, to whom hath it been revealed?
३८हे यासाठी झाले की, यशया संदेष्ट्याने जे वचन सांगितले होते ते पूर्ण व्हावे, ते असेः “प्रभू, आम्ही ऐकलेल्या वार्तेवर कोणी विश्वास ठेवला आहे? परमेश्वराचा भूज कोणास प्रकट झाला आहे?”
39 Because of this they were not able to believe: Wherefore again Eshaia had said,
३९म्हणून त्यांना विश्वास ठेवता आला नाही; या कारणाने यशया पुन्हा म्हणाला,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, And darkened their heart, That they should not see with their eyes, And understand with their heart, And be turned, and I should heal them.
४०“त्यांनी डोळ्यांनी पाहू नये, अंतःकरणाने समजू नये, वळू नये व मी त्यांना बरे करू नये म्हणून त्याने त्यांचे डोळे आंधळे केले व अंतःकरण कठीण केले आहे.”
41 These said Eshaia when he saw his glory, and spake concerning him.
४१यशयाने त्याचे गौरव पाहिले म्हणून त्याने या गोष्टी सांगितल्या आणि तो त्याच्याविषयी बोलला.
42 Yet of the chiefs also many believed in him: but because of the Pharishee they did not confess, that they might not be put out of the synagogue:
४२तरी यहूदी अधिकार्‍यांतूनही पुष्कळांनी त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवला, परंतु आपणांस सभास्थानाच्या बाहेर घालवू नये म्हणून परूश्यांमुळे ते तसे कबूल करीत नव्हते.
43 for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of Aloha.
४३कारण त्यांना देवाकडील गौरवापेक्षा मनुष्याकडील गौरव अधिक प्रिय वाटले.
44 But Jeshu cried and said, He who believeth in me, believeth not in me, but in him who sent me.
४४आणि येशू मोठ्याने म्हणाला, “जो माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो तो माझ्यावर नाही, तर ज्याने मला पाठवले त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो.
45 And he who seeth me seeth him who sent me.
४५आणि जो मला पाहतो तो ज्याने मला पाठवले त्यास पाहतो.
46 I the light am come into the world, that every one who believeth in me might not abide in darkness.
४६जो कोणी माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो त्याने अंधकारात राहू नये म्हणून मी जगात प्रकाश असा आलो आहे.
47 And he who heareth my words, and doth not keep them, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
४७कोणी जर माझी वचने ऐकतो पण ती पाळीत नाही, त्याचा न्याय मी करीत नाही; कारण मी जगाचा न्याय करण्यासाठी नव्हे, तर मी जगाचे तारण करायला आलो आहे.
48 He who rejecteth me, and receiveth not my word, hath that which judgeth him: the word which I speak, that judgeth him in the last day.
४८जो माझा अवमान करतो आणि माझी वचने स्वीकारीत नाही त्याचा न्याय करणारे कोणी आहे. जे वचन मी सांगितले, तेच शेवटल्या दिवशी, त्याचा न्याय करील.
49 For I of myself have not spoken, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
४९कारण मी आपल्या मनाचे बोललो नाही, तर मी काय सांगावे आणि काय बोलावे याविषयी ज्या पित्याने मला पाठवले त्यानेच मला आज्ञा दिली आहे.
