Colossians 1

1 PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu the Meshiha by the will of Aloha, and the brother Timotheos,

Khawsa ngaihnaak amyihna Jesu Khrih a ceityih na ak awm Paul ingkaw nangmih a naa Timote ing,

2 to those who are in Kulosos, the holy brethren and believers in Jeshu Meshiha: peace be with you, and grace from Aloha our Father.

Kolosa khaw awhkaw Khrih awh ypawm na ak awm koeinaa thlakciimkhqi venawh: Nangmih Pa Khawsa awhkaw qeennaak ingkaw ngaihqepnaak awm seh nyng.

3 We give thanks to Aloha the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha in all time, and pray on your behalf,

Nangmih Bawipa Jesu Khrih a Pa Khawsa venawh, nangmih aham ka mik cykcah awh, zeelnaak awi kqawn poepa unyng,

4 even from our hearing of your faith in Jeshu Meshiha, and of your love to all the saints;

Jesu Khrih awh nangmih ak cangnaak ingkaw thlakciimkhqi nami lungnaak ce ka ming zaak ak camawh,

5 for the hope which is kept for you in heaven, which at the first you heard through the word of the truth of the gospel,

ngaih-unaak awhkawng ak thoeng law cangnaak ingkaw lungnaak ce khawk khan na nangmih aham cun ce na awm hawh hy, ve akawng ve awitak awhkawng nangmih ing za hawh uhyk ti, awithang leek ce nangmih a venna law hawh hy.

6 which is preached to you, as also to all the world, and increaseth and giveth fruits, as also in you from the day that you heard, and knew the grace of Aloha in truth,

Ce ak awi ce nangmih ing za u tiksaw Khawsam qeennaak ingkaw awitak ce naming zaksim coengawh kawng nangmih anglakawh bi a bi lawt amyihna khawmdek pum awh ve awithang leek ve ak thaih qah nawh hqam hqui hy.

7 as you learned from Epaphra our beloved companion, who is himself for you a faithful minister of the Meshiha,

Ve akawng ve tyihzawih pyi, kaimih ang zyng awh ypawm na Khrih bi ak bi Epaphra a ven awhkawng sim uhyk ti,

8 and who hath made known to us your love, which is in the Spirit.

9 ON account of this also we, from the day that we heard, have not ceased to pray for you, and to supplicate that you may be filled with the knowledge of the will of Aloha in all wisdom and in all spiritual understanding,

10 and may walk according to that which is just, and may please Aloha in all good works, and may yield fruit, and increase in the knowledge of Aloha;

Bawipa ak kawngaih na hqing unawh ik-oeih soepkep awh amah ak kawzeelnaak nami sainaak aham cykcah nyng: ik-oeih soepkep awh ak thaih leek nami qah coengawh Khawsa simnaak benawh nami hqamnaak thai aham,

11 and in all power be empowered according to the greatness of his glory in all patience and prolongedness of spirit:

12 and with joy may give thanks to Aloha the Father, who hath fitted us for a portion of the inheritance of the saints in light,

Pa a venawh zeel awi namik kqawnnaak thai aham, anih ing thlakciimkhqi ingkaw vangnaak qam khuiawh qo pang haih aham nangmih ce ni sai khqi hawh hy,

13 and hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and brought us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,

kawtih amah than uknaak khui awhkawng ni hul khqi nawh a lungnaak a Capa qam khuina ni khyn khqi hawh hy,

14 in whom we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins:

anih awh ce nangmih ing hulnaak, thawlh qeenkhaw ngainaak ce ni ta uhy.

15 who is the image of Aloha the unseen, and the first-born of all the creatures.

Anih taw huh thai na amak awm Khawsa myi, ik-oeih sai boeih boeih ak khanawh ak thang cyk na awm hy.

16 And by him was every thing created that is in heaven and in earth; all that is seen, and all that is unseen, whether thrones or dominions, or princes or powers; all things by his hand and through him were created;

17 and he is before all, and every thing by him subsisteth.

Ik-oeih boeih a awm hlanawh anih taw awm hawh hy, anih awh ik-oeihkhqi boeih ce cun boeih hy.

18 And he is the head of the body of the church, (he) who is the chief and first-born from among the dead, that he should be preeminent in all.

Amah taw pum, thlangboel a lu na awm hy; ik-oeih soepkep a baunaak ak sang soeih na a awm thainaak aham, a kung ak kqannaak ingkaw thlakthi anglakawhkawng ak thang lamma na awm hy.

19 For in him (the Father) hath willed all fulness to dwell;

Anih awh a soepnaak ce Khawsa ak kaw zeelnaak na awm hy,

20 and by him to reconcile all things to himself, and to make peace through the blood of his cross, (even) by him, whether they be inhabitants in earth or in heaven.

amah ak caming a soep hoei, khawmdek khanawh ak awm ingkaw khanna ak awm boeih ce, thinglam awhkawng ak lawng law a thi ingkaw qoepnaak a sainaak ak caming qoepqui sak na ce awm hy.

21 YOU also, who before were aliens and adversaries in your minds by your evil works,

Khawsa ing pek qu hawh u tiksaw nami khawboe a seet a dawngawh kawlung awh qaal na awm hawh uhyk ti.

22 hath he reconciled now in the body of his flesh and through his death, to constitute you saints before him without spot and without blame;

Cehlai tuh taw a haiawh a ma amak awm coet amak kap thlakciim na ani peek naak khqi thai ham, Khrih a pum a thihnaak ak caming nangmih ing tuqunaak ce sai hawh hy -

23 if you continue in your faith, your foundation being firm, and be not moved from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, and which is proclaimed to every creature who is under heaven, of which I, Paulos, am made a minister.

24 I rejoice in the sufferings which are on your account, and fulfil the void of the afflictions of the Meshiha in my flesh for the sake of his body,

Tuh nangmih aham ka khuikhanaak awh ve zeel nyng, Khrih a khuikhanaak tika nataw ka pumsa awh ve be sak nyng; vetaw amah a pumna ak awm thlangboel aham nani.

25 which is the church; of which I am made a minister according to the dispensation of Aloha, which was given to me for you, to accomplish the word of Aloha;

Khawsa ing ani tyihnaak amyihna nangmih a venawh Khawsak awi ak soepna khypyi aham kai taw tyihzawih na awm nyng –

26 that mystery which was hidden from ages and generations, but now hath been revealed unto his saints. (aiōn g165)

cawhkaw awihyp kum khawqyt ingkaw cadil ceqyt thuh na ak awm ce, tuh awhtaw thlakciimkhqi venawh dang hawh hy. (aiōn g165)

27 To whom Aloha hath willed to make known what is the opulence of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is, The Meshiha, who in you (is) the hope of glory;

Cekkhqi venawh Khawsa ing vawhkaw a boeimang awihyp ve Gentelkhqi venawh kqawn aham tyi hawh hy, ce ik-oeih cetaw boeimangnaak ngaih-u na ak awm nangmih ak khui awhkaw khqi ceni.

28 whom we proclaim, and (concerning whom) we teach and inform every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Jeshu Meshiha;

Kaimih ing anih akawng ce khypyi unyng, toel unyng thlang boeih ce Khrih awh a soepnaak thai aham cyihnaak boeih ing cawngpyi unyng.

29 for which also I labour and contend, according to the help of the power which is given to me.

Ce ak bi hamna Khrih ak thamahnaak hawnaak ing bibi poepa nyng, cawhkaw thaawmnaak ing kai awh bibi hy.
