1 John 5
1 WHOSOEVER believeth that Jeshu is the Meshiha of Aloha is born. And every one who loveth the Generator loveth also him who is generated of him.
Todo aquel que cree que Jesús es el Cristo, es nacido de Dios; y cualquiera que ama al que ha engendrado, ama también al que es engendrado de él.
2 And by this we know that we love the children of Aloha, when we love Aloha, and work his commandments.
En esto conocemos que amamos a los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos a Dios, y guardamos sus mandamientos.
3 For this is the love of Aloha, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not heavy.
Porque éste es el amor de Dios, que guardemos sus mandamientos; y sus mandamientos no son graves.
4 Because every one who is born of Aloha overcometh the world: and this is the victory which overcometh the world, our faith.
Porque todo aquello que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo; y esta es la victoria que vence al mundo, es a saber, nuestra fe.
5 For who (is he) that overcometh the world, but he who believeth that Jeshu is the Son of Aloha?
¿Quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios?
6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jeshu the Meshiha: it was not by water only, but by water and blood; and the Spirit testifieth, because the Spirit himself is truth.
Este es Jesu Cristo, que vino por agua y sangre: no por agua solamente, sino por agua y sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio; porque el Espíritu es la verdad.
7 And there are three that testify, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood;
Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo, el Padre, el Verbo, y el Espíritu Santo; y estos tres son uno.
8 and these three are in one.
También son tres los que dan testimonio en la tierra, el espíritu, y el agua, y la sangre; y estos tres son uno.
9 If the testimony of men we receive, how much greater is the testimony of Aloha? and this is the testimony which Aloha hath testified concerning his Son.
Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, el testimonio de Dios es mayor; porque éste es el testimonio de Dios, que ha testificado de su Hijo.
10 Whosoever believeth in the Son of Aloha hath this testimony in himself. Every one who believeth not Aloha hath made him a liar, in not believing the testimony that he hath testified concerning his Son.
El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene el testimonio en sí mismo. El que no cree a Dios, ha hecho mentiroso a Dios; porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha testificado de su Hijo.
11 And this is the testimony, That the life which is eternal, Aloha hath given to us, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
Y éste es el testimonio, es a saber, que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna, y que esta vida está en su Hijo. (aiōnios g166)
12 Every one who apprehendeth the Son, apprehendeth also life; and every one who apprehendeth not the Son of Aloha, hath not life.
El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida; el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene vida.
13 These I have written to you, that you may know that you have the life which is eternal, who believe in the name of the Son of Aloha. (aiōnios g166)
Yo he escrito estas cosas a vosotros que creeis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios; para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna, y para que creáis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios. (aiōnios g166)
14 And this is the assurance that we have toward him, that all that we ask of him according to his will, he heareth us.
Y esta es la confianza que tenemos en él, que si demandáremos alguna cosa conforme a su voluntad, él nos oye.
15 And if we are persuaded that he heareth us concerning what we ask from him, we are confident of receiving already the requests that we ask from him.
Y si sabemos que él nos oye en cualquiera cosa que demandáremos, también sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hubiéremos demandado.
16 if a man shall see his brother sin a sin not obnoxious to the death, he shall ask, and life be given to him, to those who sin not as unto the death. For there is the sin of death; -it is not concerning this I say that a man shall pray.
Si alguno viere pecar a su hermano pecado que no es de muerte, demandará a Dios, y él le dará vida; digo a los que pecan no de muerte. Hay pecado de muerte: por el cual yo no digo que ruegues.
17 For all iniquity is sin; and there is sin which is not of death.
Toda iniquidad es pecado; empero hay pecado que no es de muerte.
18 And we know that every one who is born of Aloha sinneth not. For he who is born of Aloha keepeth himself, and the Evil doth not approach him.
Bien sabemos que cualquiera que es nacido de Dios, no peca; mas el que es engendrado de Dios, se guarda a sí mismo, y el maligno no le toca.
19 We know that we are of Aloha, and the whole world in the Evil is lying.
Sabido tenemos que somos de Dios, y todo el mundo está puesto en el maligno.
20 And we know that the Son of Aloha hath come, and hath given us knowledge to know the truth, and to be in him in the truth, in his Son Jeshu the Meshiha. This is Aloha the true, and the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Empero sabemos que el Hijo de Dios es venido, y nos ha dado entendimiento, para conocer al que es verdadero; y estamos en el verdadero, en su Hijo Jesu Cristo. Este es el verdadero Dios, y la vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
21 My sons, keep yourselves from the service of idols.
Hijitos, guardáos de los ídolos. Amén.
