1 John 2
1 My sons, these write I to you, that you sin not. And if a man shall sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jeshu Meshiha, the Just;
Hijitos míos, estas cosas les escribo para que no pequen. Si alguno peca, tenemos Intercesor ante el Padre: al justo Jesucristo.
2 for he is the propitiation for our sins, and not on behalf of ours only, but also on behalf of the whole world.
Él mismo es también ofrenda por nuestros pecados, y no solo por los nuestros, sino también por los de todo el mundo.
3 And by this we feel that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
Sabemos que lo conocemos cuando guardamos sus Mandamientos.
4 For he who saith that he knoweth him, and his commandments keepeth not, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
El que dice: Lo conocí, y no guarda sus Mandamientos, es mentiroso y la verdad no está en él.
5 But he who keepeth his word, in him is perfected truly the love of Aloha; for by this we know that we are in him.
Pero el amor de Dios fue perfeccionado en el que guarda su Palabra. Por esto sabemos que estamos en Él.
6 He who saith, I am in him, ought according to his walkings to walk.
El que dice que permanece en Él, tiene que vivir como Él vivió.
7 MY beloved, a new commandment I write not to you, but the old commandment, that which was with you from the beginning; but the old commandment is the word which you have heard.
Amados, no les escribo un Mandamiento nuevo, sino un Mandamiento antiguo, que tuvieron desde un principio. El Mandamiento antiguo es la Palabra que oyeron.
8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, that which is true in him and in you; because the darkness hath passed, and the true light beginneth to appear.
Por otro lado, les escribo un Mandamiento nuevo que es verdadero en Él y en ustedes, porque la oscuridad pasó y la Luz verdadera ya resplandece.
9 Whoever saith, then, that he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now.
El que dice que está en la Luz y aborrece a su hermano, está en la oscuridad hasta ahora.
10 He who loveth his brother, in the light abideth, and offence is not in him.
El que ama a su hermano permanece en la Luz, y no hay tropiezo en él.
11 He who hateth his brother is in darkness, and in the darkness walketh, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because the darkness itself hath blinded his eyes.
Pero el que aborrece a su hermano está en la oscuridad. Vive en la oscuridad. No sabe a dónde va, porque la oscuridad le cegó sus ojos.
12 I write to you, sons, because forgiven to you are your sins for the sake of his name.
Les escribí, hijitos, porque sus pecados les fueron perdonados por su Nombre.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who hath been from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked. I have written to you, children, because you have known the Father.
Les escribo, padres, porque conocieron al que es desde un principio. Les escribo, jóvenes, porque vencieron al maligno.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who (hath been) from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of Aloha remaineth in you, and you have overcome the wicked.
Les escribo, hijitos, porque conocieron al Padre. Les escribí, padres, porque conocieron al que es desde un principio. Les escribí, jóvenes, porque son fuertes y la Palabra de Dios permanece en ustedes, y vencieron al maligno.
15 Love not the world, nor any thing which is in it; for whoever loveth the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
No amen al mundo ni las cosas del mundo. Si alguno ama al mundo, el amor del Padre no está en él.
16 For every thing that is in the world, is the lust of the body, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of the world. These which are not of the Father, but they are from the world itself.
Porque todo lo que hay en el mundo: el deseo ardiente del cuerpo, el deseo ardiente de los ojos y la soberbia de la vida, no es del Padre, sino del mundo.
17 And the world passeth, (both) it and its lusts; but he who doeth the will of Aloha, continueth for ever. (aiōn g165)
El mundo pasa, y sus deseos ardientes, pero el que hace la voluntad de Dios permanece para siempre. (aiōn g165)
18 my sons, it is the last time: and as you have heard, the false meshiha cometh; and now there are many false meshihas, and from this we know that it is the last time.
Hijitos, es [la] última hora. Según oyeron, viene [el] anticristo. Aun ahora surgieron muchos anticristos, por lo cual sabemos que es [la ]última hora.
19 From us they went forth, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, with us would they have remained. But they went forth from us, that it might be known that they were not of us.
Salieron de nosotros, pero no eran de nosotros, porque si fueran de nosotros, permanecerían con nosotros. Pero salieron para que se manifestaran, porque no todos son de nosotros.
20 And you have an anointing from the Holy, and you discern every man.
Pero ustedes tienen [la] unción del Santo, y todos ustedes [lo ]saben.
21 I have not written to you because you know not the truth, but you know it, and that no lie is of it, of the truth.
No les escribí porque no supieron la verdad, sino porque la supieron, y porque ninguna mentira es de la verdad.
22 Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jeshu is the Meshiha? and this (one) is a false meshiha. He who denieth the Father, denieth also the Son;
¿Quién es el mentiroso, sino el que se aferra a que Jesús no es el Cristo? Éste es el anticristo, el que niega al Padre y al Hijo.
23 and he who denieth the Son, disbelieveth also the Father. Whoso confesseth the Son, the Father also confesseth.
Todo el que niega al Hijo, no tiene al Padre. El que confiesa al Hijo, también tiene al Padre.
24 And you, what you have heard from the first, let it continue with you. For, if what you have heard from the first continue with you, you also will continue in the Father and in the Son.
Permanezca en ustedes lo que oyeron desde un principio. Si lo que oyeron desde un principio permanece en ustedes, también ustedes permanecerán en el Hijo y en el Padre.
Ésta es la promesa que Él mismo nos ofreció: la vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
26 But these I have written to you, because of those who would seduce you.
Les escribí estas cosas acerca de los que engañan.
27 And you, also, if the anointing continue with you which you have received from him, have not need that a man should teach you; but as the anointing that is from Aloha itself teacheth you concerning every thing, and is true, neither is falsity in it; and as it hath taught you, continue in it.
Pero la Unción que recibieron de Él permanece en ustedes. No tienen necesidad de que alguno les enseñe, sino que así como su Unción les enseña con respecto a todas las cosas (es verdadera y no es mentira, así como les enseñó), permanezcan en Él.
28 And now, my sons, continue in him: that when he is manifested we may not he confounded of him, but we may have confidence at his coming.
Ahora, hijitos, permanezcan en Él, para que cuando se manifieste tengamos confianza y no seamos avergonzados de parte de Él en su venida.
29 If you know that he is righteous, know also that every one who doeth righteousness is of him.
Cuando sepan que Él es justo, saben también que todo el que hace justicia nació de Él.
