Zechariah 1

1 in/on/with month [the] eighth in/on/with year two to/for Darius to be word LORD to(wards) Zechariah son: child Berechiah son: child Iddo [the] prophet to/for to say

தரியு அரசனின் ஆட்சியில், இரண்டாம் வருடத்தின் எட்டாம் மாதத்தில், இறைவாக்கினன் சகரியாவுக்கு யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை வந்தது. இந்தச் சகரியா இத்தோவின் மகனான பெரகியாவின் மகன்.

2 be angry LORD upon father your wrath

“யெகோவா உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களின்மேல் கடுங்கோபம் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

3 and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD Hosts to return: return to(wards) me utterance LORD Hosts and to return: return to(wards) you to say LORD Hosts

ஆதலால் மக்களுக்கு நீ சொல்லவேண்டியது: சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே; ‘என்னிடம் திரும்புங்கள்,’ அப்பொழுது நானும் உங்களிடத்தில் திரும்புவேன், என சேனைகளின் யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

4 not to be like/as father your which to call: call out to(wards) them [the] prophet [the] first: previous to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts to return: return please from way: conduct your [the] bad: evil (and deed your *Q(k)*) [the] bad: evil and not to hear: hear and not to listen to(wards) me utterance LORD

நீங்கள் உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களைப்போல் இருக்கவேண்டாம். முந்தைய இறைவாக்கினர்களும் அவர்களிடம், ‘உங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளையும், பொல்லாத செயல்களையும் விட்டுத் திரும்புங்கள்’ என சேனைகளின் யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார் என்று சொன்னார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களோ எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவுமில்லை, என்னைப் பொருட்படுத்தவுமில்லை என யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

5 father your where? they(masc.) and [the] prophet to/for forever: enduring to live

இப்பொழுது உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்கள் எங்கே? இறைவாக்கினர் எங்கே? அவர்கள் இறந்துபோனார்களே.

6 surely word my and statute: decree my which to command [obj] servant/slave my [the] prophet not to overtake father your and to return: repent and to say like/as as which to plan LORD Hosts to/for to make: do to/for us like/as way: conduct our and like/as deed our so to make: do with us

ஆனால் என் அடியவர்களான இறைவாக்கினருக்கு நான் கட்டளையிட்ட என் வார்த்தைகளின்படியும், என் ஒழுங்குவிதிகளின்படியுமே உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு நடந்தது. “அதன்பின் அவர்கள் மனந்திரும்பி, ‘சேனைகளின் யெகோவா எங்கள் வழிகளுக்கும், செயல்களுக்கும் ஏற்றவாறு எங்களுக்குச் செய்திருக்கிறார். தாம் தீர்மானித்தபடி நீதியாகவே நமக்குச் செய்தார் என்றார்கள்.’”

தரியு அரசன் ஆட்சி செய்த இரண்டாம் வருடத்தின் சேபாத் என்னும் பதினோராம் மாதம் இருபத்து நான்காம் தேதி, இறைவாக்கினன் சகரியாவுக்கு யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை வந்தது. இந்த சகரியா இத்தோவின் மகனான பெரெகியாவின் மகன்.

8 to see: seer [the] night and behold man to ride upon horse red and he/she/it to stand: stand between [the] myrtle which in/on/with ravine and after him horse red sorrel and white

நான் இரவிலே ஒரு தரிசனம் கண்டேன்; எனக்கு முன்னால் ஒரு மனிதர் சிவப்புக் குதிரைமீது சவாரி செய்துகொண்டிருந்தார். அவர் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் உள்ள நறுமண மரங்களுக்கு இடையில் நின்றார். அவருக்குப் பின் சிவப்பு நிறமும், மங்கின நிறமும், வெண்மையுமான குதிரைகள் நின்றன. அவற்றின்மேலும் சவாரி செய்வோர் இருந்தனர்.

9 and to say what? these lord my and to say to(wards) me [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me I to see: see you what? they(masc.) these

அப்பொழுது நான், “ஐயா, இவைகள் என்ன?” என்று கேட்டேன். என்னோடு பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்த தூதன் என்னிடம், “இவைகள் என்ன என்பதை நான் உனக்குக் காட்டுவேன்” எனப் பதிலளித்தான்.

10 and to answer [the] man [the] to stand: stand between: among ([the] myrtle *LB(ah)*) and to say these which to send: depart LORD to/for to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet

அப்பொழுது நறுமண மரங்களின் இடையில் நின்றவர், “இவர்கள் பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றிப்பார்த்து வரும்படி யெகோவாவினால் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்கள்” என எனக்கு விளக்கினார்.

11 and to answer [obj] messenger: angel LORD [the] to stand: stand between: among [the] myrtle and to say to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet and behold all [the] land: country/planet to dwell and to quiet

அவர்கள் நறுமண மரங்கள் மத்தியில் நின்ற யெகோவாவின் தூதனிடம் போய், “நாங்கள் பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றிப் பார்த்தோம். முழு உலகமும் சமாதானமாயும், அமைதியாயும் இருப்பதைக் கண்டோம்” என்றார்கள்.

12 and to answer messenger: angel LORD and to say LORD Hosts till how you(m. s.) not to have compassion [obj] Jerusalem and [obj] city Judah which be indignant this seventy year

அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவின் தூதன், “சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவே, எருசலேமின்மேலும், யூதாவின் நகரங்கள் மேலும் இன்னும் எவ்வளவு காலம் இரங்காதிருப்பீர்? எழுபது ஆண்டுகளாய் நீர் அவற்றின்மேல் கோபமாயிருந்தீரே” எனக் கேட்டான்.

13 and to answer LORD [obj] [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me word pleasant word comfort

அதற்கு என்னோடு பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்த தூதனிடம், யெகோவா அன்பும் ஆறுதலுமான வார்த்தைகளால் பேசினார்.

14 and to say to(wards) me [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me to call: call out to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts be jealous to/for Jerusalem and to/for Zion jealousy great: large

அதன்பின்பு என்னுடன் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்த தூதன், “இந்த வார்த்தைகளை அறிவி: சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: ‘நான் எருசலேமிலும், சீயோனிலும் வைத்த அதிக அன்பினால் வைராக்கியம் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.

15 and wrath great: large I be angry upon [the] nation [the] secure which I be angry little and they(masc.) to help to/for distress: harm

ஆனால் பாதுகாப்புடன் இருக்கிறோம் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், பிற மக்கள்மீது நான் கடுங்கோபம் கொண்டுள்ளேன்; ஏனெனில் நான் எனது மக்கள்மேல் சிறிதளவு மட்டுமே கோபமாயிருந்தேன். அப்போது, பிற நாடுகளோ அவர்கள்மேல் பேராபத்தை அதிகரித்து எனது மக்களை அழிக்கப் பார்த்தார்கள்.’

16 to/for so thus to say LORD to return: return to/for Jerusalem in/on/with compassion house: home my to build in/on/with her utterance LORD Hosts (and line *Q(K)*) to stretch upon Jerusalem

“ஆகையால் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: ‘நான் இரக்கத்தோடு எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்புவேன்; அங்கே எனது ஆலயம் மறுபடியும் கட்டப்படும். எருசலேமின்மேல் அளவுநூல் பிடிக்கப்பட்டு கட்டிடங்கள் எழுப்பப்படும்’ என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

17 still to call: call out to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts still to flow city my from good and to be sorry: comfort LORD still [obj] Zion and to choose still in/on/with Jerusalem

“மேலும் அறிவிக்க வேண்டியதாவது: சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: ‘என் நகரங்கள் மீண்டும் செல்வச் செழிப்பினால் பொங்கி வழியும்; யெகோவா மறுபடியும் சீயோனைத் தேற்றி எருசலேமைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வார் என்றான்.’”

18 and to lift: look [obj] eye my and to see: see and behold four horn

அதன்பின்பு நான் பார்த்தபோது அங்கே எனக்கு முன்னால் நான்கு கொம்புகள் இருந்தன.

19 and to say to(wards) [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me what? these and to say to(wards) me these [the] horn which to scatter [obj] Judah [obj] Israel and Jerusalem

நான் என்னுடன் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்த தூதனிடம், “இவைகள் என்ன?” என்று கேட்டேன். அதற்கு அவன், “யூதாவையும், இஸ்ரயேலையும், எருசலேமையும் சிதறடித்த வல்லமையான நாடுகள் இவைகளே” என்று பதிலளித்தான்.

20 and to see: see me LORD four artificer

அதன்பின் யெகோவா எனக்கு கைவினைஞர் நால்வரைக் காண்பித்தார்.

21 and to say what? these to come (in): come to/for to make: do and to say to/for to say these [the] horn which to scatter [obj] Judah like/as lip: according man not to lift: kindness head his and to come (in): come these to/for to tremble [obj] them to/for to give thanks [obj] horn [the] nation [the] to lift: fight horn to(wards) land: country/planet Judah to/for to scatter her

“இவர்கள் என்ன செய்ய வருகிறார்கள்?” என நான் கேட்டேன். அதற்கு அவர், “யூதாவில், ஒருவனும் தன் தலையைத் தூக்காதவாறு, யூதாவைச் சிதறடித்த பிற மக்களான இந்த கொம்புகளை வெட்டி முறிக்கவும், அவர்களைப் பயமுறுத்தவுமே இந்தக் கைவினைஞர் வருகின்றார்கள். பிறநாடுகள் யூதா நாட்டு மக்களைச் சிதறடிப்பதற்காக, தங்கள் வல்லமையைப் பயன்படுத்த வந்தார்கள் என்றார்.”
