1 who? to give: put you like/as brother: male-sibling to/for me to suckle breast mother my to find you in/on/with outside (to kiss you *L(abh)*) also not to despise to/for me
੧ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁੱਧੀਆਂ ਚੁੰਘੀਆਂ! ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੱਭਦੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਦੀ, ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ!

੨ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਧ, ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਪਿਲਾਉਂਦੀ।

੩ਕਾਸ਼ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਖੱਬਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦਾ!
4 to swear [obj] you daughter Jerusalem what? to rouse and what? to rouse [obj] [the] love till which/that to delight in
੪ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀਓ ਧੀਓ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਉਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਉਕਸਾਓ, ਨਾ ਜਗਾਓ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਨਾ ਭਾਵੇ?

੫ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਲਮ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ? ਵਧੂ ਸੇਬ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੇਠ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਇਆ, ਉੱਥੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਰਭ ਧਾਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉੱਥੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਣਨ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਲੱਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਣਿਆ।

੬ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਰੱਖ, ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਮੌਤ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ, ਈਰਖਾ ਪਤਾਲ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਕਠੋਰ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਹਨ। (Sheol h7585)
7 water many not be able to/for to quench [obj] [the] love and river not to overflow her if to give: give man: anyone [obj] all substance house: home his in/on/with love to despise to despise to/for him
੭ਬਹੁਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ, ਨਾ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਬ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦਾ।
8 sister to/for us small and breast nothing to/for her what? to make: do to/for sister our in/on/with day which/that to speak: speak in/on/with her
੮ਸਾਡੀ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਛਾਤੀਆਂ ਅਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਭਰੀਆਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਚੱਲੇ?

੯ਜੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਧ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਮੁਨਾਰਾ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਘੇਰਾਂਗੇ।
10 I wall and breast my like/as tower then to be in/on/with eye his like/as to find peace
੧੦ਮੈਂ ਕੰਧ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਛਾਤੀਆਂ ਬੁਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸਨ, ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸੀ।
11 vineyard to be to/for Solomon in/on/with Baal-hamon Baal-hamon to give: give [obj] [the] vineyard to/for to keep man: anyone to come (in): bring in/on/with fruit his thousand silver: money
੧੧ਬਆਲ-ਹਮੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਰਾਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਲਈ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਿੱਕੇ ਲਿਆਵੇ।
12 vineyard my which/that to/for me to/for face: before my [the] thousand to/for you Solomon and hundred to/for to keep [obj] fruit his
੧੨ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ, ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ-ਦੋ ਸੌ ਮਿਲਣ।
13 ([the] to dwell *L(abh)*) in/on/with garden companion to listen to/for voice your to hear: hear me
੧੩ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਬਗੀਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਥੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾ!
14 to flee beloved my and to resemble to/for you to/for gazelle or to/for fawn [the] deer upon mountain: mount spice
੧੪ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਲਮ, ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰ, ਮਸਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਿਕਾਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਜੁਆਨ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣ ਜਾ!
