1 upon bed my in/on/with night to seek [obj] which/that to love: lover soul my to seek him and not to find him
In my litle bed Y souyte hym bi niytis, whom my soule loueth; Y souyte hym, and Y foond not.
2 to arise: rise please and to turn: surround in/on/with city in/on/with street and in/on/with street/plaza to seek [obj] which/that to love: lover soul my to seek him and not to find him
I shal rise, and Y schal cumpasse the citee, bi litle stretis and large stretis; Y schal seke hym, whom my soule loueth; I souyte hym, and Y foond not.
3 to find me [the] to keep: guard [the] to turn: surround in/on/with city [obj] which/that to love: lover soul my to see: see
Wakeris, that kepen the citee, founden me. Whether ye sien hym, whom my soule loueth?
4 like/as little which/that to pass from them till which/that to find [obj] which/that to love: lover soul my to grasp him and not to slacken him till which/that to come (in): bring him to(wards) house: home mother my and to(wards) chamber to conceive me
A litil whanne Y hadde passid hem, Y foond hym, whom my soule loueth; Y helde hym, and Y schal not leeue hym, til Y brynge him in to the hous of my modir, and in to the closet of my modir.
5 to swear [obj] you daughter Jerusalem in/on/with gazelle or in/on/with doe [the] land: country if: surely no to rouse and if: surely no to rouse [obj] [the] love till which/that to delight in
Ye douytris of Jerusalem, Y charge you greetli, bi the capretis, and hertis of feeldis, that ye reise not, nether make to awake the dereworthe spousesse, til sche wole.
6 who? this to ascend: rise from [the] wilderness like/as column smoke to offer: to perfume myrrh and frankincense from all aromatic powder to trade
Who is this womman, that stieth bi the deseert, as a yerde of smoke of swete smellynge spices, of mirre, and of encence, and of al poudur of an oynement makere?
7 behold bed his which/that to/for Solomon sixty mighty man around to/for her from mighty man Israel
Lo! sixti stronge men of the strongeste men of Israel cumpassen the bed of Salomon; and alle thei holden swerdis,
8 all their to grasp sword to learn: teach battle man: anyone sword his upon thigh his from dread (in/on/with night *L(abh)*)
and ben moost witti to batels; the swerd of ech man is on his hipe, for the drede of nyytis.

Kyng Salomon made to hym a seete, of the trees of Liban;
10 pillar his to make silver: money back his gold chariot his purple midst his to fit love from daughter Jerusalem
he made the pilers therof of siluer; he made a goldun restyng place, a stiyng of purpur; and he arayede the myddil thingis with charite, for the douytris of Jerusalem.
11 to come out: come and to see: see daughter Zion in/on/with king Solomon in/on/with crown which/that to crown to/for him mother his in/on/with day marriage his and in/on/with day joy heart his
Ye douytris of Sion, go out, and se kyng Salomon in the diademe, bi which his modir crownede hym, in the dai of his spousyng, and in the dai of the gladnesse of his herte.
