Ich bin eine Narzisse von Saron, eine Lilie der Täler.

Wie eine Lilie unter den Dornen, so ist meine Freundin unter den Töchtern!

Wie ein Apfelbaum unter den Bäumen des Waldes, so ist mein Freund unter den Söhnen! In seinem Schatten saß ich so gern, und seine Frucht war meinem Gaumen süß.

Da ist die Stimme meines Freundes! Siehe, er kommt! Er hüpft über die Berge, er springt über die Hügel!

Mein Freund gleicht einem Reh oder dem jungen Hirsch. Siehe, da steht er hinter unsrer Mauer, schaut zum Fenster hinein, blickt durchs Gitter.
