Ruth 3
1 and to say to/for her Naomi mother-in-law her daughter my not to seek to/for you resting which be good to/for you
Naomi, sa belle-mère, lui dit: « Ma fille, ne chercherai-je pas pour toi le repos, afin que tu sois heureuse?
2 and now not Boaz kinsman our which to be with maiden his behold he/she/it to scatter [obj] threshing floor [the] barley [the] night
N'est-ce pas Boaz, notre parent, avec les jeunes filles duquel tu étais? Voici qu'il va vanner l'orge cette nuit sur l'aire de battage.
3 and to wash: wash and to anoint and to set: put (mantle your *Q(K)*) upon you (and to go down *Q(K)*) [the] threshing floor not to know to/for man till to end: finish he to/for to eat and to/for to drink
C'est pourquoi tu te laveras, tu t'oindras, tu t'habilleras et tu descendras à l'aire; mais ne te fais pas connaître à cet homme avant qu'il ait fini de manger et de boire.
4 and to be in/on/with to lie down: lay down he and to know [obj] [the] place which to lie down: lay down there and to come (in): come and to reveal: uncover feet his (and to lie down: lay down *Q(k)*) and he/she/it to tell to/for you [obj] which (to make: do [emph?] *L(abh)*)
Lorsqu'il se couchera, tu remarqueras le lieu où il est couché. Puis tu entreras, tu découvriras ses pieds et tu te coucheras. Il te dira alors ce que tu dois faire. »

Elle lui répondit: « Tout ce que tu dis, je le ferai. »

Elle descendit à l'aire de battage et fit tout ce que sa belle-mère lui avait dit.

Lorsque Boaz eut mangé et bu, et que son cœur fut joyeux, il alla se coucher à l'extrémité du tas de blé. Elle vint doucement, lui découvrit les pieds et se coucha.

A minuit, l'homme fut surpris et se retourna; et voici qu'une femme était couchée à ses pieds.
9 and to say who? you(f. s.) and to say I Ruth maidservant your and to spread wing your upon maidservant your for to redeem: redeem you(m. s.)
Il dit: « Qui es-tu? » Elle répondit: « Je suis Ruth, ta servante. Étends donc le coin de ton vêtement sur ta servante, car tu es un proche parent. »
10 and to say to bless you(f. s.) to/for LORD daughter my be good kindness your [the] last from [the] first to/for lest to go: follow after [the] youth if poor and if rich
Il dit: « Tu es bénie par Yahvé, ma fille. Tu as montré plus de bonté à la fin qu'au début, parce que tu n'as pas suivi les jeunes gens, qu'ils soient pauvres ou riches.
11 and now daughter my not to fear all which to say to make: do to/for you for to know all gate: town people my for woman strength: worthy you(f. s.)
Maintenant, ma fille, n'aie pas peur. Je te ferai tout ce que tu me diras, car toute la ville de mon peuple sait que tu es une femme de valeur.
12 and now for truly for (if: except *Q(K)*) to redeem: redeem I and also there to redeem: redeem near from me
Il est vrai que je suis un proche parent. Mais il y a un parent plus proche que moi.

Reste cette nuit, et demain matin, s'il veut jouer pour toi le rôle d'un parent, tant mieux. Qu'il fasse son devoir de parent. Mais s'il ne veut pas faire pour toi le devoir d'un parent, je ferai pour toi le devoir d'un parent, comme Yahvé est vivant. Couche-toi jusqu'au matin. »
14 and to lie down: lay down (feet his *Q(K)*) till [the] morning and to arise: rise (in/on/with before *Q(K)*) to recognize man: anyone [obj] neighbor his and to say not to know for to come (in): come [the] woman [the] threshing floor
Elle resta couchée à ses pieds jusqu'au matin, puis elle se leva avant que l'on puisse en discerner une autre. Car il avait dit: « Que l'on ne sache pas que la femme est venue à l'aire de battage. »
15 and to say to give [the] cloak which upon you and to grasp in/on/with her and to grasp in/on/with her and to measure six barley and to set: put upon her and to come (in): come [the] city
Il dit: « Apporte le manteau qui est sur toi, et tiens-le. » Elle le tint; il mesura six mesures d'orge et les posa sur elle; puis il entra dans la ville.

Lorsqu'elle arriva chez sa belle-mère, elle dit: « Comment cela s'est-il passé, ma fille? » Elle lui raconta tout ce que l'homme avait fait pour elle.
17 and to say six [the] barley [the] these to give: give to/for me for (to say to(wards) me *Q(K)*) not to come (in): come emptily to(wards) mother-in-law your
Elle dit: « Il m'a donné ces six mesures d'orge, car il a dit: « Ne va pas à vide chez ta belle-mère ».
18 and to say to dwell daughter my till which to know [emph?] how? to fall: fall word: thing for not to quiet [the] man for if: except to end: finish [the] word: thing [the] day
Alors elle dit: « Attends, ma fille, jusqu'à ce que tu saches ce qui va se passer; car l'homme ne se reposera pas avant d'avoir réglé cette affaire aujourd'hui. »
