এরপরে আমি দেখলাম চারজন স্বর্গদূত, তাঁরা পৃথিবীর চার কোণে দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন এবং তাঁরা পৃথিবীর চার বায়ুকে পিছন দিকে টেনে ধরে রেখেছেন, যেন ভূমিতে বা সমুদ্রে বা কোনো গাছের উপরে বাতাস প্রবাহিত না হয়।

তারপর আমি আর একজন স্বর্গদূতকে পূর্বদিক থেকে আসতে দেখলাম, তাঁর কাছে ছিল জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের সিলমোহর। তিনি সেই চার স্বর্গদূত, যাঁদের ভূমি ও সমুদ্রের উপর অনিষ্ট করার ক্ষমতা দেওয়া হয়েছিল তাঁদের উদ্দেশে উচ্চস্বরে বললেন:

“আমরা যতক্ষণ না আমাদের ঈশ্বরের দাসগণের কপালে সিলমোহর দিয়ে ছাপ দিতে পারি, ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত তোমরা ভূমি বা সমুদ্র বা গাছগুলির প্রতি কোনো অনিষ্ট কোরো না।”

পরে আমি ওই সিলমোহরাঙ্কিত লোকদের সংখ্যার কথা শুনতে পেলাম। তারা ছিল ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত গোষ্ঠীর 1,44,000 জন।

যিহূদা গোষ্ঠী থেকে মোহরাঙ্কিত 12,000 জন, রূবেণ গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, গাদ গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন,
6 out from tribe Asher (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Naphtali (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Manasseh (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*)
আশের গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, নপ্তালি গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, মনঃশি গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন,
7 out from tribe Simeon (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Levi (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Issachar (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*)
শিমিয়োন গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, লেবি গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, ইষাখর গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন,
8 out from tribe Zebulun (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Joseph (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *k*) out from tribe Benjamin (twelve *N(k)O*) thousand (to seal *NK(o)*)
সবূলূন গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, যোষেফ গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন, বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠী থেকে 12,000 জন মোহরাঙ্কিত হল।

এরপর আমি তাকিয়ে দেখলাম, আর আমার সামনে প্রত্যেক দেশের, গোষ্ঠীর, জাতির ও ভাষাভাষী লোকের এক বিশাল জনারণ্য দেখতে পেলাম যাদের গণনা করার সামর্থ কারও নেই। তারা সেই সিংহাসন ও মেষশাবকের সামনে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। তারা ছিল সাদা পোশাক পরিহিত ও তাদের হাতে ছিল খেজুর পাতা।

তারা উচ্চকণ্ঠে চিৎকার করে বলল, “পরিত্রাণ দেওয়ার অধিকার সিংহাসনে উপবিষ্ট আমাদের ঈশ্বর ও মেষশাবকের অধিকারভুক্ত।”

সব স্বর্গদূত সেই সিংহাসনের চারদিকে এবং সেই প্রাচীনবর্গের ও চারজন জীবন্ত প্রাণীর চারদিকে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন। তাঁরা সেই সিংহাসনের সামনে নত হয়ে প্রণাম করলেন ও ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করলেন,
12 to say amen the/this/who praise and the/this/who glory and the/this/who wisdom and the/this/who thankfulness and the/this/who honor and the/this/who power and the/this/who strength the/this/who God me toward the/this/who an age: eternity the/this/who an age: eternity amen (aiōn g165)
বললেন: “আমেন! প্রশংসা ও মহিমা, প্রজ্ঞা ও ধন্যবাদ ও সম্মান, পরাক্রম ও শক্তি চিরকাল যুগে যুগে আমাদের ঈশ্বরেরই হোক। আমেন!” (aiōn g165)

তখন প্রাচীনদের মধ্যে একজন আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “সাদা পোশাক পরিহিত এই লোকেরা কারা এবং কোথা থেকে তারা এসেছেন?”

আমি উত্তর দিলাম, “মহামান্য, আপনিই তা জানেন।” তখন তিনি বললেন, “এরা সেই লোক, যারা মহাসংকটকাল থেকে উত্তীর্ণ হয়ে এসেছে; তারা মেষশাবকের রক্তে তাদের পোশাক পরিষ্কার করেছে ও তা সাদা করছে।

এই কারণে, “তারা ঈশ্বরের সিংহাসনের সামনে রয়েছে, আর তারা দিনরাত তাঁর মন্দিরে তাঁর সেবা করে; আর যিনি সিংহাসনে উপবিষ্ট, তিনি তাদের আশ্রয় দেবেন।
16 no to hunger still nor to thirst still nor (no *o*) not to collapse upon/to/against it/s/he the/this/who sun nor all heat
‘আর তারা কখনও ক্ষুধার্ত হবে না, আর তারা কখনও তৃষ্ণার্ত হবে না। সূর্যের প্রচণ্ড তাপ বা প্রখর উত্তাপ,’ তাদের গায়ে লাগবে না।

কারণ সিংহাসনের কেন্দ্রে স্থিত মেষশাবক তাদের পালক হবেন; ‘তিনি তাদের জীবন্ত জলের উৎসের দিকে নিয়ে যাবেন।’ ‘আর ঈশ্বর তাদের চোখের জল মুছিয়ে দেবেন।’”
