Những người chiến thắng, Ta sẽ cho làm cột trụ trong Đền Thờ của Đức Chúa Trời Ta, họ sẽ ở đó mãi mãi. Ta sẽ ghi trên người họ danh Đức Chúa Trời, và tên Giê-ru-sa-lem mới—thành này sẽ từ Đức Chúa Trời trên trời mà xuống—Ta cũng ghi tên mới của Ta trên họ.

Nhưng vì con hâm hẩm, không nóng cũng không lạnh, nên Ta sẽ nhả con ra khỏi miệng Ta.

Con nói: Tôi giàu, có nhiều tài sản, không cần gì nữa, nhưng con không biết con khốn khổ, đáng thương, nghèo nàn, mù lòa, và trần truồng.

Ta khuyên con hãy mua vàng tinh luyện của Ta để con giàu có, mua áo trắng để che thân và mua thuốc xức mắt để con nhìn thấy được.

Người nào Ta yêu mến, Ta mới khiển trách, sửa trị. Vậy con hãy sốt sắng ăn năn.

Này! Ta đứng bên ngoài gõ cửa, nếu ai nghe tiếng Ta mà mở cửa ra, Ta sẽ vào thăm, ăn tối với người, chỉ người với Ta.
