< Psalms 94 >
1 God vengeance LORD God vengeance to shine
O LORD, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.
2 to lift: raise to judge [the] land: country/planet to return: pay recompense upon proud
Lift up Thyself, Thou Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense.
3 till how wicked LORD till how wicked to exult
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?
4 to bubble to speak: speak arrogant to say all to work evil: wickedness
They gush out, they speak arrogancy; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily.
5 people your LORD to crush and inheritance your to afflict
They crush Thy people, O LORD, and afflict Thy heritage.
6 widow and sojourner to kill and orphan to murder
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 and to say not to see: see LORD and not to understand God Jacob
And they say: 'The LORD will not see, neither will the God of Jacob give heed.'
8 to understand be brutish in/on/with people and fool how be prudent
Consider, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye understand?
9 to plant ear not to hear: hear if: surely yes to form: formed eye not to look
He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?
10 to discipline nation not to rebuke [the] to learn: teach man knowledge
He that instructeth nations, shall not He correct? even He that teacheth man knowledge?
11 LORD to know plot man for they(masc.) vanity
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 blessed [the] great man which to discipline him LORD and from instruction your to learn: teach him
Happy is the man whom Thou instructest, O LORD, and teachest out of Thy law;
13 to/for to quiet to/for him from day bad: evil till to pierce to/for wicked pit: grave
That Thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 for not to leave LORD people his and inheritance his not to leave: forsake
For the LORD will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.
15 for till righteousness to return: return justice and after him all upright heart
For right shall return unto justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 who? to arise: rise to/for me with be evil who? to stand to/for me with to work evil: wickedness
Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 unless LORD help to/for me like/as little to dwell silence soul my
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had soon dwelt in silence.
18 if to say to shake foot my kindness your LORD to support me
If I say: 'My foot slippeth', Thy mercy, O LORD, holdeth me up.
19 in/on/with abundance anxiety my in/on/with entrails: inner parts my consolation your to delight soul my
When my cares are many within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.
20 to unite you throne desire to form: plan trouble upon statute: decree
Shall the seat of wickedness have fellowship with Thee, which frameth mischief by statute?
21 to cut upon soul: life righteous and blood innocent be wicked
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
22 and to be LORD to/for me to/for high refuge and God my to/for rock refuge my
But the LORD hath been my high tower, and my God the rock of my refuge.
23 and to return: return upon them [obj] evil: wickedness their and in/on/with distress: evil their to destroy them to destroy them LORD God our
And He hath brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; the LORD our God will cut them off.
