[For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Do Not Destroy." A Psalm by Asaph. A song.] We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
2 for to take: recieve meeting: time appointed I uprightness to judge
When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
3 to melt land: country/planet and all to dwell her I to measure pillar her (Selah)
The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. (Selah)
4 to say to/for to be foolish not to be foolish and to/for wicked not to exalt horn
I said to the arrogant, "Do not boast." I said to the wicked, "Do not lift up the horn.
5 not to exalt to/for height horn your to speak: speak in/on/with neck arrogant
Do not lift up your horn on high. Do not speak with a stiff neck."
6 for not from exit and from west and not from wilderness to exalt
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
7 for God to judge this to abase and this to exalt
But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
8 for cup in/on/with hand LORD and wine to aggitate full mixture and to pour from this surely dreg her to drain to drink all wicked land: country/planet
For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
9 and I to tell to/for forever: enduring to sing to/for God Jacob
But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 and all horn wicked to cut down/off to exalt horn righteous
I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
