1 melody to/for Asaph surely pleasant to/for Israel God to/for pure heart
Nur gut gegen Israel ist Gott, gegen die, so lauteren Herzens sind.
2 and I like/as little (to stretch *Q(K)*) foot my like/as nothing (to pour: scatter *Q(K)*) step my
Ich aber, um ein Kleines, so hätten sich meine Füße abgewendet, wie nichts, so wären ausgeglitten meine Tritte.
3 for be jealous in/on/with to be foolish peace: well-being wicked to see: see
Denn ich eiferte gegen die sich Rühmenden, ich sah den Frieden der Ungerechten.
4 for nothing bond to/for death their and fat strength their
Sie sind nicht in Banden, bis zu ihrem Tode; und feist ist ihr Leib.
5 in/on/with trouble human nothing they and with man not to touch
In der Mühsal des Menschen sind sie nicht, und sind nicht mit dem Menschen geplagt.
6 to/for so to ornament them pride to envelope garment violence to/for them
Darum ist Übermut ihr Halsband, Gewalttat hüllt sie als Putz.

Vor Fett tritt hervor ihr Auge; des Herzens Einbildungen gehen über.

Sie höhnen und reden im Bösen von Plackerei, sie reden aus der Höhe.

Sie setzen in den Himmel ihren Mund, und ihre Zunge geht auf der Erde.

Darum kehrt Sein Volk dahin zurück, und des Wassers Fülle wird ihnen ausgepreßt.
11 and to say how? to know God and there knowledge in/on/with Most High
Und sie sprechen: Wie sollte Gott es wissen, und Kunde bei dem Höchsten sein?

Siehe, das sind die Ungerechten, sie sind sorglos im Zeitalter; sie vermehren das Vermögen.

Nur umsonst hielt lauter ich mein Herz, und wusch in Unschuld meine Hände.

Und ich werde jeden Tag geplagt und in den Morgen wird mir Rüge.

Spräche ich: Ich will wie jene reden, siehe, so werde ich treulos an dem Geschlechte Deiner Söhne.

Und ich dachte das zu wissen: Mühsal war es in meinen Augen.

Du stellst sie nur aufs Schlüpfrige und läßt sie in Verstörung fallen.

Wie sind sie doch im Augenblick verwüstet, dahingerafft und mit Bestürzung zunichte worden!

Wie einen Traum nach dem Erwachen verachtest Du, Herr, beim Aufwachen ihr Bild.

Als es in meinem Herzen gor und mich in die Nieren stach;

Da ich noch tierisch war und nichts wußte, war ich wie das Vieh bei Dir.

Ich aber war bei Dir beständig, du ergriffst mich bei meiner Rechten,

Nach Deinem Ratschluß führst Du mich und nimmst mich nachher auf in Herrlichkeit.
25 who? to/for me in/on/with heaven and with you not to delight in in/on/with land: country/planet
Wen habe ich im Himmel? Und neben Dir habe keine Lust ich an der Erde.

Verzehrt ist mein Fleisch und mein Herz, Fels meines Herzens, und mein Teil ist Gott in Ewigkeit.

Denn siehe, die ferne sind von Dir, vergehen, Du vertilgst alle, die von Dir abbuhlen.

Mir aber ist die Nähe Gottes gut. In den Herrn Jehovah setze ich meine Zuversicht, daß alle Deine Werke ich erzähle.
