੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੀਮ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ, ਪਾਣੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਆਏ ਹਨ!
2 to sink in/on/with mire depth and nothing foothold to come (in): come in/on/with deep water and stream to overflow me
੨ਮੈਂ ਡਾਢੇ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੱਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਮੈਂ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

੩ਮੈਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਥੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਮੇਰਾ ਸੰਘ ਬਹਿ ਗਿਆ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦਿਆਂ-ਉਡੀਕਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਰਹਿ ਗਈਆਂ!

੪ਜਿਹੜੇ ਧਿਗਾਣੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਢੂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਹੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ, ਓਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੋੜਨਾ ਪਿਆ।

੫ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ।

੬ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ! ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਾਲੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ!।
7 for upon you to lift: bear reproach to cover shame face my
੭ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਸਹੀ, ਲਾਜ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

੮ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਗਾਨਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂ-ਜਾਇਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ,
9 for jealousy house: temple your to eat me and reproach to taunt you to fall: fall upon me
੯ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੈਰਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿੰਦਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪਈਆਂ।
10 and to weep in/on/with fast soul my and to be to/for reproach to/for me
੧੦ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਰੋ-ਰੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਪਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ!

੧੧ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੱਪੜ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਸਤਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਬਣਿਆ।
12 to muse in/on/with me to dwell gate and music to drink strong drink
੧੨ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿੱਠਾਂ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
13 and I prayer my to/for you LORD time acceptance God in/on/with abundance kindness your to answer me in/on/with truth: faithful salvation your
੧੩ਪਰ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਠੀਕ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਡਾਢੀ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ।
14 to rescue me from mud and not to sink to rescue from to hate me and from deep water
੧੪ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਖੁੱਭ ਨਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ!
15 not to overflow me stream water and not to swallow up me depth and not to shut upon me well lip her
੧੫ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਛੱਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਨਾ ਡੂੰਘ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲੇ, ਨਾ ਗੋਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੀਟ ਲਵੇ!
16 to answer me LORD for pleasant kindness your like/as abundance compassion your to turn to(wards) me
੧੬ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਭਲੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੇਓੜਕ ਰਹਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ,
17 and not to hide face your from servant/slave your for to constrain to/for me to hasten to answer me
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਡਾਢਾ ਔਖਾ ਹਾਂ! ਛੇਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ।
18 to present: come [emph?] to(wards) soul my to redeem: redeem her because enemy my to ransom me
੧੮ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇ!
19 you(m. s.) to know reproach my and shame my and shame my before you all to vex me
੧੯ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ, ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਨ।

੨੦ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਂਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਡੀਕਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪਰ ਓਹ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ।
21 and to give: give in/on/with food my poison and to/for thirst my to water: drink me vinegar
੨੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਹ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਕਾ ਪਿਆਇਆ।
22 to be table their to/for face: before their to/for snare and to/for peace to/for snare
੨੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਾਹੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਫੰਦਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ!
23 to darken eye their from to see: see and loin their continually to slip
੨੩ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਛਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੱਕ ਸਦਾ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ!
24 to pour: pour upon them indignation your and burning anger face: anger your to overtake them
੨੪ਆਪਣਾ ਰੋਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਢਾਲ਼ ਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਵੇ!
25 to be encampment their be desolate: destroyed in/on/with tent their not to be to dwell
੨੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਉੱਜੜ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਵੱਸੇ,
26 for you(m. s.) which to smite to pursue and to(wards) pain slain: wounded your to recount
੨੬ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਿਤੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ!
27 to give: give [emph?] iniquity: punishment upon iniquity: punishment their and not to come (in): come in/on/with righteousness your
੨੭ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਵਧਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਨਾ ਦੇ!
28 to wipe from scroll: book alive and with righteous not to write
੨੮ਓਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ!।
29 and I afflicted and to pain salvation your God to exalt me
੨੯ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖਲ੍ਹਿਆਰੇ।
30 to boast: praise name God in/on/with song and to magnify him in/on/with thanksgiving
੩੦ਮੈਂ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,
31 and be good to/for LORD from cattle bullock to shine to divide
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਨਾਲੋਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿੰਙ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਭਾਵੇਗਾ।
32 to see: see poor to rejoice to seek God and to live heart your
੩੨ਦੀਨ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਲਿਬੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ!
33 for to hear: hear to(wards) needy LORD and [obj] prisoner his not to despise
੩੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।
34 to boast: praise him heaven and land: country/planet sea and all to creep in/on/with them
੩੪ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ!
35 for God to save Zion and to build city Judah and to dwell there and to possess: take her
੩੫ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ,
36 and seed: children servant/slave his to inherit her and to love: lover name his to dwell in/on/with her
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।
