١ لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ اِسْتَمِعْ يَا ٱللهُ صَوْتِي فِي شَكْوَايَ. مِنْ خَوْفِ ٱلْعَدُوِّ ٱحْفَظْ حَيَاتِي.

2 to hide me from counsel be evil from scheming to work evil: wickedness

٢ ٱسْتُرْنِي مِنْ مُؤَامَرَةِ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ، مِنْ جُمْهُورِ فَاعِلِي ٱلْإِثْمِ،

3 which to sharpen like/as sword tongue their to tread arrow their word bitter

٣ ٱلَّذِينَ صَقَلُوا أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ كَٱلسَّيْفِ. فَوَّقُوا سَهْمَهُمْ كَلَامًا مُرًّا،

4 to/for to shoot in/on/with hiding complete suddenly to shoot him and not to fear

٤ لِيَرْمُوا ٱلْكَامِلَ فِي ٱلْمُخْتَفَى بَغْتَةً. يَرْمُونَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ.

٥ يُشَدِّدُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ لِأَمْرٍ رَدِيءٍ. يَتَحَادَثُونَ بِطَمْرِ فِخَاخٍ. قَالُوا: «مَنْ يَرَاهُمْ؟».

٦ يَخْتَرِعُونَ إِثْمًا، تَمَّمُوا ٱخْتِرَاعًا مُحْكَمًا. وَدَاخِلُ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ وَقَلْبُهُ عَمِيقٌ.

٧ فَيَرْمِيهِمِ ٱللهُ بِسَهْمٍ. بَغْتَةً كَانَتْ ضَرْبَتُهُمْ.

٨ وَيُوقِعُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ. يُنْغِضُ ٱلرَّأْسَ كُلُّ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ.

9 and to fear: revere all man and to tell work God and deed: work his be prudent

٩ وَيَخْشَى كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ، وَيُخْبِرُ بِفِعْلِ ٱللهِ، وَبِعَمَلِهِ يَفْطَنُونَ.

10 to rejoice righteous in/on/with LORD and to seek refuge in/on/with him and to boast: boast all upright heart

١٠ يَفْرَحُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُ بِٱلرَّبِّ وَيَحْتَمِي بِهِ، وَيَبْتَهِجُ كُلُّ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ.
