1 melody to/for Asaph God God LORD to speak: speak and to call: call to land: country/planet from east sun till entrance his
“A psalm of Assaph.” The God of gods, the Lord, speaketh, and calleth the earth, from the rising of the sun unto his setting.
2 from Zion perfection beauty God to shine
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shineth forth.

Our God is coming, and will not keep silence: a fire devoureth before him, and round him there rageth a mighty storm.

“Gather together unto me my pious servants, who make a covenant with me by sacrifice.”

And the heavens tell of his righteousness; for God is judge himself. (Selah)

“Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: God, thy God, am I.
8 not upon sacrifice your to rebuke you and burnt offering your to/for before me continually
Not because of thy sacrifices will I reprove thee; and thy burnt-offerings are continually before me.
9 not to take: recieve from house: home your bullock from fold your goat
I will not take a bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds.
10 for to/for me all living thing wood animal in/on/with mountain thousand
For mine are all the beasts of the forest, the cattle upon a thousand mountains.
11 to know all bird mountain: mount and creature field with me me
I know all the fowls of the mountains: whatever moveth on the fields is with me.
12 if be hungry not to say to/for you for to/for me world and fullness her
If I were hungry, I would not say it to thee; for mine is the world, and what filleth it.
13 to eat flesh mighty: ox and blood goat to drink
Do I eat the flesh of fatted bulls, or drink the blood of he-goats?
14 to sacrifice to/for God thanksgiving and to complete to/for Most High vow your
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay unto the Most High thy vows;
15 and to call: call to me in/on/with day distress to rescue you and to honor: honour me
And call on me on the day of distress: I will deliver thee, — and so wilt thou glorify me.”
16 and to/for wicked to say God what? to/for you to/for to recount statute: decree my and to lift: raise covenant my upon lip your
But unto the wicked God saith, “What hast thou to do to relate my statutes, and why bearest thou my covenant upon thy mouth?
17 and you(m. s.) to hate discipline and to throw word my after you
And yet thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
18 if to see: see thief and to accept with him and with to commit adultery portion your
When thou seest a thief, then art thou pleased with him, and with adulterers hast thou thy portion.
19 lip your to send: let go in/on/with distress: evil and tongue your to join deceit
Thou lettest loose thy mouth with evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 to dwell in/on/with brother: male-sibling your to speak: speak in/on/with son: child mother your to give: do slander
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; against thy own mother's son thou utterest slander.
21 these to make: do and be quiet to resemble to be to be like you to rebuke you and to arrange to/for eye: before(the eyes) your
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence: thou didst ween that I am like thyself; [but] I will reprove thee, and set it in order before thy eyes.”
22 to understand please this to forget god lest to tear and nothing to rescue
Do but reflect on this, ye that forget God, lest I tear [you] in pieces, with none to deliver.
23 to sacrifice thanksgiving to honor: honour me and to set: make way: journey to see: see him in/on/with salvation God
Whoso offereth thanksgiving glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his course aright, will I show the salvation of God.
