Psalms 32
1 to/for David Maskil blessed to lift: forgive transgression to cover sin
| لِدَاوُدَ. قَصِيدَةٌ طُوبَى لِلَّذِي غُفِرَ إِثْمُهُ وَسُتِرَتْ خَطِيَّتُهُ. | ١ |
2 blessed man not to devise: count LORD to/for him iniquity: crime and nothing in/on/with spirit his deceit
| طُوبَى لِرَجُلٍ لَا يَحْسِبُ لَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ خَطِيَّةً، وَلَا فِي رُوحِهِ غِشٌّ. | ٢ |
3 for be quiet to become old bone my in/on/with roaring my all [the] day
| لَمَّا سَكَتُّ بَلِيَتْ عِظَامِي مِنْ زَفِيرِي ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ، | ٣ |
4 for by day and night to honor: heavy upon me hand your to overturn juicy bit my in/on/with drought summer (Selah)
| لِأَنَّ يَدَكَ ثَقُلَتْ عَلَيَّ نَهَارًا وَلَيْلًا. تَحَوَّلَتْ رُطُوبَتِي إِلَى يُبُوسَةِ ٱلْقَيْظِ. سِلَاهْ. | ٤ |
5 sin my to know you and iniquity: crime my not to cover to say to give thanks upon transgression my to/for LORD and you(m. s.) to lift: forgive iniquity: crime sin my (Selah)
| أَعْتَرِفُ لَكَ بِخَطِيَّتِي وَلَا أَكْتُمُ إِثْمِي. قُلْتُ: «أَعْتَرِفُ لِلرَّبِّ بِذَنْبِي» وَأَنْتَ رَفَعْتَ أَثَامَ خَطِيَّتِي. سِلَاهْ. | ٥ |
6 upon this to pray all pious to(wards) you to/for time to find except to/for flood water many to(wards) him not to touch
| لِهَذَا يُصَلِّي لَكَ كُلُّ تَقِيٍّ فِي وَقْتٍ يَجِدُكَ فِيهِ. عِنْدَ غَمَارَةِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ ٱلْكَثِيرَةِ إِيَّاهُ لَا تُصِيبُ. | ٦ |
7 you(m. s.) secrecy to/for me from distress to watch me song deliverance to turn: surround me (Selah)
| أَنْتَ سِتْرٌ لِي. مِنَ ٱلضِّيقِ تَحْفَظُنِي. بِتَرَنُّمِ ٱلنَّجَاةِ تَكْتَنِفُنِي. سِلَاهْ. | ٧ |
8 be prudent you and to show you in/on/with way: conduct this to go: went to advise upon you eye my
| «أُعَلِّمُكَ وَأُرْشِدُكَ ٱلطَّرِيقَ ٱلَّتِي تَسْلُكُهَا. أَنْصَحُكَ. عَيْنِي عَلَيْكَ. | ٨ |
9 not to be like/as horse like/as mule nothing to understand in/on/with bridle and bridle ornament his to/for to hold in not to present: come to(wards) you
| لَا تَكُونُوا كَفَرَسٍ أَوْ بَغْلٍ بِلَا فَهْمٍ. بِلِجَامٍ وَزِمَامٍ زِينَتِهِ يُكَمُّ لِئَلَّا يَدْنُوَ إِلَيْكَ». | ٩ |
10 many pain to/for wicked and [the] to trust in/on/with LORD kindness to turn: surround him
| كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ نَكَبَاتُ ٱلشِّرِّيرِ، أَمَّا ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُ عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ فَٱلرَّحْمَةُ تُحِيطُ بِهِ. | ١٠ |
11 to rejoice in/on/with LORD and to rejoice righteous and to sing all upright heart
| ٱفْرَحُوا بِٱلرَّبِّ وَٱبْتَهِجُوا يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ، وَٱهْتِفُوا يَا جَمِيعَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ. | ١١ |
