Psalms 2
1 to/for what? to throng nation and people to mutter vain
PERCHÈ tumultuano le genti, E mormorano i popoli cose vane?
2 to stand king land: country/planet and to rule to found unitedness upon LORD and upon anointed his
I re della terra si ritrovano, Ed i principi consigliano insieme, Contro al Signore, e contro al suo Unto;
3 to tear [obj] bond their and to throw from us cord their
[Dicendo: ] Rompiamo i lor legami, E gettiam via da noi le lor funi.
4 to dwell in/on/with heaven to laugh Lord to mock to/for them
Colui che siede ne' cieli[ne] riderà; Il Signore si befferà di loro.
5 then to speak: speak to(wards) them in/on/with face: anger his and in/on/with burning anger his to dismay them
Allora parlerà loro nella sua ira, E li renderà smarriti nel suo cruccio acceso;
6 and I to install king my upon Zion mountain: mount holiness my
[E dirà: ] Pur nondimeno ho io consacrato il mio Re Sopra Sion, monte della mia santità.
7 to recount to(wards) statute: decree LORD to say to(wards) me son: child my you(m. s.) I [the] day to beget you
Io spiegherò il decreto; Il Signore mi ha detto: Tu [sei] il mio figliuolo; Oggi io t'ho generato.
8 to ask from me and to give: make nation inheritance your and possession your end land: country/planet
Chiedimi, ed io ti darò [per] eredità le genti, Ed i confini della terra [per] tua possessione.
9 to shatter them in/on/with tribe: staff iron like/as article/utensil to form: potter to shatter them
Tu le fiaccherai con una verga di ferro; Tu le triterai come un testo di vasellaio.
10 and now king be prudent to discipline to judge land: country/planet
Ora dunque, o re, siate savi; Giudici della terra, ricevete correzione.
11 to serve: minister [obj] LORD in/on/with fear and to rejoice in/on/with trembling
Servite al Signore con timore, E gioite con tremore.
12 to kiss son: child lest be angry and to perish way: journey for to burn: burn like/as little face: anger his blessed all to seek refuge in/on/with him
Baciate il figliuolo, che talora egli non si adiri, E che voi non periate [nella vostra] via, Quando l'ira sua si sarà pure un poco accesa. Beati tutti coloro che si confidano in lui.
