گۆرانی گەشتیاران، بۆ سلێمان. ئەگەر یەزدان خانووەکە دروست نەکات، وەستاکان بێ سوود خۆیان ماندوو دەکەن. ئەگەر یەزدان چاودێری شارەکە نەکات، پاسەوان بێ سوود ئێشک دەگرێت.

2 vanity: vain to/for you to rise to arise: rise to delay to dwell to eat food: bread [the] toil so to give: give to/for beloved his sleep

بێ سوودە بۆتان زوو هەستان و دانیشتن هەتا درەنگی شەو، خواردنی نانی ڕەنجکێشی، چونکە خەو بە خۆشەویستانی خۆی دەبەخشێت.

3 behold inheritance LORD son: child wages fruit [the] belly: womb

بێگومان منداڵان میراتن لە یەزدانەوە، پاداشتی بەری سکن.

4 like/as arrow in/on/with hand mighty man so son: child [the] youth

وەک تیری دەستی پاڵەوان، ئاوان کوڕانی مرۆڤی گەنج.

5 blessed [the] great man which to fill [obj] quiver his from them not be ashamed for to speak: speak with enemy in/on/with gate

خۆزگە دەخوازرێ بەو کەسەی تیردانی خۆی لەوان پڕکردووە، شەرمەزار نابێت کە لە دادگا لەگەڵ دوژمنان دەکەوێتە دەمەقاڵێ.
