1 song [the] step to(wards) LORD in/on/with distress [to] to/for me to call: call to and to answer me

A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

2 LORD to rescue [emph?] soul: myself my from lips deception from tongue deceit

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.

3 what? to give: give to/for you and what? to add to/for you tongue deceit

What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

4 arrow mighty man to sharpen with coal broom

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

5 woe! to/for me for to sojourn Meshech to dwell with tent Kedar

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, [that] I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

6 many to dwell to/for her soul: myself my with to hate peace

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7 I peace and for to speak: speak they(masc.) to/for battle

I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are] for war.
